Hullo! There's been a new bug in town since 1.2. Basically, the bug negates the use of resistance after patching to 1.2 - this means that master difficulity vs mages can be extra troublesome, and my snazzy fire resist shield has no use :( I read a comment in a youtube video regarding the bug that someone had created a mod that fixes this bug, but after searching for this mod I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks for your help :)

I love Windhelm. It's just so old, cold yet resoundingly cosy. It has the best inn in my opinion, and it's so atmospheric crossing that old bridge into the city. To be honest, the whole game is beautifully atmospheric. I went through a stage when I just started to power-play my way through the game, and then I made myself slow the f*** down and really take my time to appreciate the game and what it has to offer.

It will. You mean the one where you're constantly being arrested but can't go to jail because you've previously been there? Yeah, it will. Anyways, regarding the Stormcloak vs Empire situation -- I picked Stormcloak. But to be honest, the real issue is the Thalmor. It's THEM who wanted the banning of the worship of Talos. If it wasn't for that, really, I don't think there would be a civil war. Because that's what sparked it off. Before the civil war, the Stormcloaks were all part of the Empire anyway, and Talos (the god they worship) founded the Empire. It's the Thalmor that are the real bad guys because their the ones pulling the strings of the Empire, besides you see many NPCs dotted around Skyrim who are part of the Empire, but dislike the idea of them banning the worship of Talos. In an ideal world the Stormcloaks + Empire would unite and do something about the Thalmor. But that wouldn't work out too well, I guess.

Is this preventing you from doing the civil war quests with Stormcloaks? I have this as well :< It just won't allow me to proceed with going to jail or paying off the bounty, so basically I'm screwed because the civil war quest involves a Makrath NPC that's currently hostile due to the bounty bug. My entire playthrough has been broken by this quest bug. Has anyone else had this and managed to find a fix/way around it? There's no console commands for lowering bounty, so that won't work. Is there any mods that could do it?

So we all know about the soon to be released Mod Tools provided by Bethesda, but what do they actually do? I know very little about the process of mods, I'd love to change textures and things but I have no idea how to do that currently, but will the upcoming mod tools allow me to easily create/edit things in Skyrim?

Yeah I'd like to know this too. Anyone have any ideas?

This is EXACTLY how I feel man. I feel as if everything has become trivialised. It's shocking how easy it is to get awesome gear by doing hardly anything, and getting it so early on. It really does take away the feel of going exploring and finding awesome loot, when you can just made leather bracers for about half an hour and then all of a sudden look like Sauron. It's a bit of a joke, and I feel as if I'm cheating.

Heya! Can anyone please make me a mod that will change the graphics of the Daedric Sword (item code 000139B9) to look the same as Steel Sword (00013989). I understand that this is quite an odd request, but the reason I'd like to do this is because I'm a bit of a minimalist. I don't really like how over the top some weapons can look, and I prefer the more basic models. So is it possible anyone could do this for me? Thanks for your time/help! p.s - A cool idea could be a "Transmogrification" in which you can change the texture skins round to your desired choice.
