but i can donate or just transfer money online... anyway the point is the mod....even just a ccao rip off would be monumental in skyrim modding which is limited to boob and butt mods

So I've been wondering if there is a mod for skyrim similar to oblivion's 'CCAO - Cotyounoyume combat animation overhaul' which is found here http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/36261/? I think a mod similar this for skyrim would be amazing along with damage types/pros and cons for weapon types. I have also come in contact with Cotyounoyume asking him if he were to create such a mod for skyrim but the acclaimed modder has no plans to make a version himself but supports the idea (instead he made that estrus mod a while back, you know, the tentacle sex one), and as I am not skilled enough to create such a mod I hope that some one(s) would take up the opportunity to create this ground-breaking mod for skyrim. here is Ctyouyume's mod in action (the mod itself is also no longer support) just to show the concept, though one doesnt not need to copy it exactly, just the general gameplay mechanic. other mechanics could include -spears would also be implementable and would work as an alternative to soolie's spear mod. -this could also allow different movesets for shields (bash vs parry) -different changable damage types (stab vs slash vs bash) mid-battle to suit enemies if the mod were to evolve so, but merely the animationswould be good enough for me at this point as that type of gameplay overhaul would me massive it would seem. -spell animations according to elements, projectile type, spell level or certain spells to a greater degree than vanilla would make mage gameplay feel alot better and spell choice feel like it had greater influence *i would totally fund this mod* (to a degree...student income...but still reasonable, not just like $20) And you would win my respect forever

please continue working on this D:

dark souls is better that skyrim. in everyway i enjoy game. dark souls, however, is a lot more mature in content from graphics to gameplay, from the presentation of moral decisions to depth of customisation and can only appeal to a limited audience because not gamers dont feel that the nature of gaming involves challenge of adreneline rushes. I have been a crazy fan of TES since morrowind (Dunmer pride reprezent yo!!! *flashy hand gestures*) and have spent countless hours in the old construction sets. I only heard of Dark Souls a month before it's release and have never heard of demon's souls beforehand. If I had to relate them to something outside of the gaming world....then Skyrim is bacon, tasty, tasty bacon, but Dark Souls is the woman of my dreams ontop of a mountain of bacon. PRAISE THE SUN!!!! \[^_^]/

i think you can use nifscope to cange it from obj to nif (what skyrim uses)....there is also blender with plugins to help edit meshes and gimp with blender for textures im only new to this type of modding myself but there are lots of tuts for this type of thing for oblivion, i assume the process isnt too difficult PRAISE THE SUN!!!! \O/ | | | -
Im not sure if other ppl feel like this but the combat in skyrim is repetitive and lack varriety. there isnt a real real feel of success if you maul a troupe of bandits, even on master difficultly, even in combination with fantastic mods just as increased weapon damage or WiS which though make encounters more deadly/quicker or more often, gameplay is changed very little. once you've fought one bandit, every humanoid there after is a mirrored fight. To avoid this drab repetition in combat i think that there needs to be an overhaul in combat including: PART (1) ~AI scripting and actor behaviour 1) different fighting patterns for different weapon types and actor roles (a bandit would use different tactics than a guard, twohanded weapon users and onehanded weapon users would behave differently from each other etc and less of the charge-and-maul-everything approach) 2) ambushs/assassinations that dont begin with you seeing three or four ppl running over a hillside with their weapons drawn calling you an outlandish cur. Enemies that conceal/diguise themselves in order to gain the upper hand or surround or set up traps or even kite. 3)Bosess that feel like bosses and not like your average enemy with more health, even if they are humanoid bosses, it would be better if they had some sort of fighting pattern that you learn PART (2) ~Animation and uniqueness to weapons 1) weapons of the same skill but make of different materials are used differently/are better for different situations eg a dwarvan greatsword maybe better for attacking enemies that surround you while an ebony greatsword would be better for attacking singuar enemies shown though unique animations. this would give a reason for having more than one weapon. 2)bows could come in varieties for mid/short ranged dps or sniping or magic damage instead of just lvling your smithing for that daedric bow. 3)more creative spell ideas and combinations (though this doesnt seem like just a big issuse as there are already hundreds of spell mods) PART (3) ~Combat precison and immersion 1)weapon/armor repairing....fosho, this is an rpg? 2)weapons bouce or are deflected of walls and cause you to stagger when you miss opponents, forces less mashing 3)parrying/riposte that allow crit bonuses, causing a greatter stagger that just hitting the shield by accident, done just as the attack lands, and viable option to blocking with euqal or greater benefits 4)dodge/roll for normal combat, and viable option to blocking with euqal or greater benefits PART (4) ~misc/optional 1) mounted combat would be awesome, but if a project all on its own. 2)weapons like spears, raipers, crossbows, katars, glaives and whips with custom animations, perks and the things i mentioned for the vanilla combat system would all be cool too ( i guess crosbows could just stem of archery no probs). 3)a roll/dodge to replace the jump with jump only availible when running is a personal preferrence This is obviously a massive endevour for any modder or even team, but it could easily make skyrim combat fresh and force players the put more thought in how they approach a situation other than choosing their biggest axe or fastest dagger and setting the button mashing to 11. A mod of this nature (and proportion) would easily be valued more that any boob/nude/porn mod......and that's saying a lot!!! XD I hope there some veteran modders willing to take this up is not have a similar project going as less experienced modders like myself would find this task practically insurmoutable ( T3T). I invite you to critic and expand the concept if you want to and share any details of similar mods or threads. Inspiration for this concept in skyrim comes mainly from FromSoftware's Darks Souls. p.s. Dunmer are the best!!!

i think the biggest issuse for mounted combat is the ai scripting...after you're able to attack on a horse, enemies and yourself would just feel like a fastr taller version of the original and nothing else. im all for mounted combat, but only if you see mounted actors charge back and forth swiping at you instead of just standing and flailing at you like they do on foot which i crazy boring as it is

not just those, but the kirk of thorn's armor, gwyndolin's armor, the beautrice's coat, catarina armor (srsly i love the onion look, though it might clip with some lore weapons) and black iron armor are super awesome and their respective shields. a lot of the weapons would be cool too like FROM's moonlight greatsword, gravelord great sword, the zwei, dragonslayer bow, and quelaag's sword...even the claymore, but the main thing about these weapons is not the way it looks but more so the animations, for me imo. Dragon slayer greatbow would probs be the greatest trouble maker modding-wise cause it would need different animations and be able to shoot further, whereas with most melee weapons would suffice with standard skyrim animations and armor sizes and cloth animations would be annoying too ps quelaag's sword could easily be replace with almalexia's trueflame from the morrowind's tribunal expansion :o i hope someone takes up this challenge i would love them FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as you could probably guess, a mod that allows the weather to affect the inhabitants of skyrim...eg cold weather/blizzards effect stamina movement speed, cant swim in water that has ice in it without affecting health. Anything that makes living in skyrim more bear grylls-esque (without the pee drinking) with severe weather effects. What would also be cool if hair/capes/robes etc would get blown about in the wind or when riding a horse....kinda odd walking around up north in a blizzard and wizard robe or nightingale armor's cape is wired to your butt...sorta is a connected via concept but perhaps not the same thing i guess

IMO a morrowyrim (or skywind? lol) would be so much more epic cause the landscapes are severely different, and you wouldnt need to worry so much about accuracy because you could blame it on red mountain's explosion, which would also more creativity and freedom. I think it would be a more fresh per se oppose to the nostalgic feel of a skylivion (still would be great nevertheless), which get more followers/downloader/popularity. chances are they will be tons of ppl wanting to do the same, probably get a team together to make things easier especially if you can get a person with past modding/texturing and model making experience. sounds awesome, im looking forward to it and goodluck
