After further research, it turns out that more than just the TESV.EXE was changed during this update, and therefore, I need to revert the other modified files back to the previous version. Unfortunately, I just reinsalled the whole game so I'm assuming those files won't have a previous version anymore, meaning I'm screwed >_>

So Patch 1.2 came out, and then I couldn't even get the game to run. Besides that, the SKSE I have says it won't support the new version of Skyrim, so due to both issues, I decided to roll back to the previous .EXE. Everything works fine again, but I went to an arcane enchanter to disenchant a few items, and once I click on an item to disenchant and it asks me if I'm sure, I can't click yes or no. The game recognizes my mouse (yes and no both get highlighted when I mouse over them) but clicking does nothing. Once this "are you sure" menu opens, tabbing does nothing and therefore I am stuck on this screen indefinitely, forcing me to restart. Any help???? Thanks

Hey everyone, This morning I turned on the Ambient Occlusion option that is now available for Skyrim via the new nVidia drivers, and it looks stunning. Best graphical enhancement yet. I am having a problem however, and I was hoping someone could help me correct it. All of the new shadows that Ambient Occlusion creates now flicker a bit every time I move, so when the game is in motion, it is almost as if everything is shimmering. It is very annoying and troublesome. I have LOD bias set to clamp and forced High Quality 16X AF in the control panel, but still no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks,

I think an "Immersion" Mod that integrated some of this features would be great (i.e. no fast traveling, only by carriage to major cities, required to sleep/eat, etc.). Would really help make it a bit more deep and satisfying.

Would also love to see more perks. Something like 2 perks per level would be perfect I think. Thanks

I agree with this request. I have a character at level 46, and I wish I could have one or two more skill trees full realized. Not to make him more powerful and the game easier, but for roleplaying purposes. 2 Perks per level would be perfect.

Open the console, type sexchange, hit enter, and then type it one more time, and hit enter. This will cause your character to become female then back to male (or visa versa) and the icicle will be gone.

I am currently playing an Orc Warrior with Heavy Armor, One Handed (Axes), Block, and Smithing. I followed the main quest until the first dragon slaying, and then too branched out to do side quests. Generally, I would follow the main quest until it took me to a new city/location, and then complete many side quests in that area, explore a little, and then continue the main quest until, again, it brought me to a new location, thus repeating the process. I am 34 now, and done with the main quest, in full Dragon Armor, and am now working on doing all of the side quests in each city so I can be a Thane of every place possible. Then, I'll join the legion and go through that quest line, and then search out and complete every Daedra Shrine quest, hopefully ending near level 50 in full Daedra armor.

Well I've confirmed that this works, for whoever may be interested.

Hey everyone. I've made quite the mess with the .ini files in Skyrim, and would like to revert everything back to default. If I copy my Saves Folder, then uninstall/reinstall Skyrim, then copy the Saves Folder back, will I still have my character? Or is this not possible? I want to have all of the default settings in the .ini files but still want to keep my character and this seems like the easiest way. Thanks,
