Hi guys, sorry to be a pain in the rear as this topic probably got mentioned years ago but im a newbie to FO3 ( yes its embarrasing) i lweft it on the shelf for years only now decided to dust it off and give it a go. Now, not content with the vanilla game ive gone and added a few mods, done through the Nexus mod manager, including Fook 2, alton IL and Martigans, now ive done all the patches carefully and used Large address aware as on win 7 64 bit etc, plus FOIP etc. Now im about to play so i decided to throw in a Merged patch , it scans my mods then i execute it only to get an error at the bottom so it wont create a proper patch. Error reads 0506DED1 <error could not resolve???? if i list my mods maybe some one out there can advise me. if i start the game it does load and i can play the intro as a child. So reason im here is i dont want to play for half an hour to find a crash because merged patch failed. Im also using enb boost if thats worth using. Anyway forgive my blabbing on, i just want to know ive set up the game right before venturing in past the intro phase of the game which does seem to run well. heres my mods and order if that helps.   4. Hi guys, yes this is very embabarrasing in a wierd way, Fallout 3 been around for years and here i am just getting in to it. Probably not a bad thing as you mod experts have been juggling around with mods for years so it seems the best place for me to start. Ive just installed the main game plus the DLC as have game of year edition. Im using the Nexus mod manager and have installed Darnified and FOSE plus the updated unnoficial patch as advised. Oh, and fook 2 complete with Fixes. Now i havnt added any patches to Fook yet as was going to ask if i can add Martigans MM along with NMC textures. If thats a good to go can you advise me on the compatible patches i therefore need to play safely. ( links for an old newbie if you have the time.) On top of that any other mods that would indeed make my game even more awesome. Many thanks to anyone who actually answers this, as i know im years behind you guys on this game, but i dusted it off and have no idea how i have missed such a great classic game.

  6. Hi guys, im going Mad, in Vanilla mode game is fine. Now all i want to run is a few mods to beef up the game. I want to run the 700gb mega landscape upgrade mod plus the best water mod etc. ive installed those. Now running 1.3 patch with 4gb Skyrim I ticked all the ticks before installing the 4gb skyrim Keep getting CTD im running an e8400 dual core at 4ghz with 2gb ram and a gtx 580 so shouldnt have power issues i hope. im a newbie as you can see, so when i run 4gb each time is it normall for the skyrin options screen to not be there ( ie. i cant re tick loose files) maybe i only need to do this once at the beginning? So basically im getting a CDT at the stage where the dragon comes down where im about to be beheaded . ive tried reverting back to 1.1 then running the ensb 0.92 ahh!!! it always crashes? Could it be the 700 gb landscape upgrade is too much for my 2gb ram as ive only 1.5 free during game, thought my Graphics card would back it up? who knows. HOPE some one can help me.

  8. Hi, will reverting back to 1.1 in Skyrim help me out of crashes? Should i use the 0.89-.0.92, 0.96 ensb patches or whatever they are called? Finally will they work with 4gb Skyrim. Hope you can advise me please.
  9. Forgive me if i appear stupid, wont be the first time on these forums, but im learning slowly. Finally got my loosely modded Skyrim running through 4GB, watching the start of game through to execution as we speak. now i cant seem to get to the click loose files screen anymore??? Just Start, Load, exit??? Is this normal as cant activate some of the mods? Maybe the 4gb skyrim activates them? can some who has the time for a dim witted newbie like me please educate me here, i promise not to bug the hell out of you again on the subject. Im running the 4gb Skyrim every time, tried offline aswell???? hope yall can help

  15. Ive not used the Nexus mod manager so cant really un activate the mods installed. when downloading some of the mods from the top 25 secion i notice that a lot arent mod manager install. How do i set them up with the manager then?
  16. Please help me someone???? Ive installed Skyrim now several times and let steam do its updates to patch 1.3 i think. Now ive added a few mods like the huge Landscape mode 700gb i think plus the best water mod plus a bout 8 or nine other top 25 mods. Now game goes to boot ( through steam) or offline. I get the black screen with dragon image but after around 40 seconds i get booted to desktop and end of story. Ive inserted the mods manually and very carefully in the righ folders. Clicked on loose files etc. Now if i install vanilla and no mods, No trouble at all. My rig is fairly powerfull running windows XP 4ghz dual core intel 2 gb ram gtx 580 etc so no raw power to run issues. Just dont understand why its booting out to Desktop when i add mods. Ive uninstalled correctly through steam then manually cleaned out skyrim folders. Hope someone can advise me as i want to play with a tuned up better looking game.
  17. For a Vanilla Skyrim at new 1.3 patch will i have to rewind my version to get the 4gb skyrim to work as plan on using the ipgrade textures etc. Can someone advise me on safest way to rewind so to speak im running Windows XP. Many thanks

  19. Hi guys forgive my newness to the realms of Skyrim. Just installed Game and it auto patched to 1.3 something. ive downloaded a nice collection of mods including warer textures etc, now can i just place them in the right directorys stated and get playing. Reason i ask is ive not bothered with the 4gb skyrim as have read it wont like the 1.3 patch ? Now regarding say my 1st few mods will they run niceley when im in offline mode or will i have to be connected, to get them to work. hope you can advise me whilst im at the early part of installing mods to make ot look better. Like i said ive left it Bare with no mods entere yet, thought id ask you wise ones first. My rig is quite powerfull so i should have no worries with texture mods etc. i just dont want to put 20 mods on and the dam game throws me out... Sorry to waffle on hope yall can help me.
