I have a problem; I'm running Fallout: New Vegas on a GTX 1070, i7 4790K and I'm only getting 25-30 FPS with my mods + ENB. Is this normal? I'm using Blackout ENB, NVSE, New Vegas Stutter Remover, NVAC, 4gb launcher, etc. (I have all the stability/anti-crash mods and tweaks). I have about 25 mods or so; my main graphical mods are NMCs Texture pack Large, with OJO Bueno texture pack Ultra installed over it. I also have Project Reality installed with it. I also have EVE, Project Nevada, WMX, etc. As I said earlier, I am running Blackout ENB wit the SSAO Antialiasing. When Iturn off the enb, the performance is pretty much the same in game than it is turned on. Is my FPS (25 - 30) normal with all these mods (ojo bueno ultra pack, nmc's full, blackout enb, project reality, etc.) with my PC specs? If not, is there a fix? I hate sub-60 FPS. Thanks.

Here's the problem: I have Blackout ENB as well as a bunch of other texture mods. It looks brilliant and everything is working great.However... There is a small millisecond flicker of black after exiting the pip-boy screen or the pause menu, or after looting. Here's an example; after I'm finished looting a corpse, I exit off the menu and for a millisecond a dark flicker occurs around the whole screen and it is very noticeable. It happens every time I exit looting or exit the pause menu, etc. and is so annoying. Any fixes? Specifications: GTX 1070 i7 4790k

I just want to use Qarl's texture pack, character overhaul, enhanced flora and trees, realistic environments, oblivion realm HD, etc. to improve my game looks. I have obse, 4gb patch, streamline, etc. But do I really need OBGE/OR? I don't like them, the old one is quite buggy and the new one adds features I don't want. I'd like to know if I can revamp my game's looks with mods without OBGE/OR. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your answer. Any idea why it said that the .ini files had Unicode formatting?

So I'm editing the Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_default.ini and basically I have a problem. (I already marked off the .ini setting, 'read only'.) So I'm editing it to handle threads more efficiently, for better stability. Thing is, whenever I tried to save the settings, it said "This .ini file is encoded in ANSI format and has Unicode lines. To save the Unicode lines, you need to change encoding." So I changed all the .ini file's encoding as Unicode, because it was set to ANSI as default, and apparently it had Unicode encoding already. After changing the ini's to Unicode encoding, I could successfully save with no errors. So my question is, is it okay for me to change the encoding on the Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_default.ini to Unicode encoding from ANSI? I'm pretty sure it's much better if I do, but I'd just like confirmation. Thanks :)
