  1. Yea Daedra armor has a higher armor rating then dragon armor but it weighs a ton compared to dragon. This is only a problem if you don't have the make armor weigh nothing perk. Daedra hearts are not that hard to come by if you know where to look either. Plus I think Daedric armor looks better.
  2. wow those bushes in the 3rd picture look awesome. That is some nica changes. BTW the 64bit is out too, least it is for my GTX 580.
  3. I dont feel either way about them tbh, BUT I did prefer their look in morrowind/oblivion compared to skyrim.
  4. Nothing like that happens to me, maybe your fingers hit caps when you tab out of the conversation.
  5. 1 mammoth task is needed for a quest. Dragon bones and dragon scales are needed for crafting dragon armor. The dwarven stuff is mostly decorative but I think the oil is an ingredient for alchemy.
  6. Poll asks: Poll: How long did it take to finish the main story. Not the entire game.
  7. 3 Hours I'm afraid. I wonder where on earth Bethesda gets the info "30 hours" to complete the main quest. Did they get a bunch of monkeys to sit with the game and average how long it took them to finish. The only way it could take 30 hours if you didnt know there was a toggle run button, sprint button and had no clue what fast travel was. Dont get me wrong, I love it still and have clocked 79 hours of gameplay so far and will keep playing but I've finished every guild/faction, main quest, and the vast majority of quests as far as I can tell (95% of quests ish in the entire game) and it only took around 40 hours, not the 200-300 hours promised before. (and yes I know there is an infinite number of quests that can be generated by the game but who is counting them).
  8. lmao thats funny, you are so scared of spiders you cant even go near it. Bad news I'm afraid there is quite a few in the game. Anyway, just kill it using console and then walk past it looking at the roof or something.
  9. Yes. Theres more then ever. Too many infact.
  10. Adept, But If I die repeatedly on an annoying mage or something I will change to novice and switch it back after killing it.
  11. Try go up a mountain, then try go up the same mountain on your horse. The horse wins. Try run from point A to point B then do it on your horse. The horse wins. Only bad thing about them is they fight and get in the way it can be very annoying. I ride the quest horse in the game and it is awesome. (aside from its fighting issues)
  12. Of course I've' used fast travel. If I hadn't I wouldn't' have completed all the main quests already I would probably be absolutely bored out my skull traveling the same routes over and over. For example going between Riften and all the other main city's over and over for thieves guild missions. There is way to much back and forth to not fast travel without pulling your hair out.
  13. yes, the games designed so it doesnt interfere with other quests. And the rewards arent scaled to your level like in oblivion.
  14. Just reloaded my old TESV and re-did the >2gb ram thing, working like a boss now.
  15. Hey guys, just playing skyrim as usual when I got this bug: http://i.imgur.com/RmzdL.jpg I know the purple textures are nothing new, although I did get rid of them with the >2GB RAM fix, but after that update well that fix is gone. Anyway the yellow texture thing is new to me, I only have it inside this 1 building, I can move around and it flashes and stuff but is anyone else getting this bug?
  16. Oh, I thought you were going to bring up star trek for a second there. Yes the Favorites menu is very handy.
  17. Yeah 3d technology needs a 120Hz monitor and glasses, I have them and have tried skyrim in 3d. It is definitely one of the better 3d games I've tried. And it looked rather nice, only problem was (with all 3d games mind you) the icon in the middle floats and the blood splatter thats on your screen not on the ground isnt in 3d its rather strange looking. Aside from that though it is very good 3d.
  18. Ive got 12gb ram. The game only uses 2gb on default and since I play on max graphics I think thats what was causing it. The use more then 2gb fix worked, it stopped the crashes all together for me. If your interested to compare specs I am on win 7 64 bit i7 930 12gb 1300hz ram GTX 580 3gb edition.
  19. I was getting it all the time. Then `i` did the >2gb ram fix and it stopped. apparently the skyrim update we literally just got stops the fix though. A bit stupid really.
  20. aww man, if they have taken away the 4gb thingy then it is back to a s*** load of crashes for me, this blows.
  21. Well I checked the skyrim folder when it was downloading and it was replacing my TESV file, which I know is around 18mb. Is this how skyrim is patched? I thought they would have changed some other files other then just that 1.
