  1. Kepler, it's a reference to Nvidia's GPU architecture, I'd imagine there will be a Maxwell soon :)
  2. I know but right now I don't want to do anything to potentially break Skyrim so I'm going to leave it in, it's doing no harm. Edit: Finally managed to make the game crash, after installing Inconsequential NPCS / Interesting NPCs and changing the maximum spawned characters in a cell to 80 via Wyre Bash, I had a CTD upon approaching Dead Man's respite, scaled uGrids back to 7, downloaded a higher memory compiler .dll and dropped number of spawned NPCs to 30, back to being stable again, spawned 100 bandits in the middle of Solitude and put God mode on and spammed them all to death using Fire Breath.
  3. My game was fine when I spawned 100 bandits and Ohdaviing, was fine when I pushed it to 200 but it froze using killall. Using GTX 680 4GB
  4. So I've added all my 2k textures back in, increased shadow resolution to 4k AND put ugrids up to 9, the game is stable as a rock :-) This combined with Safety Load, ENBoost and Stable Ugrids should be enough to stabilise ANYONE's game. Edit: just fought a massive 20 vs 20 battle in the middle of a snowstorm as a werewolf, stable as a rock, this has completely blown me away, guy deserves a knighthood.
  5. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! After trying EVERYTHING (TESVedit, BOSS, Bashed Patches, ENBoost, Papyrus .ini tweaks, Safety Load) NOTHING could stop the inevitable CTDs, however I've just installed the Skyrim Memory Patch with some sceptiscism and OH MY GOD it works! I've just spawned 100 bandits, put God mode on and slaughtered them all without a single hiccup! Obviously there were FPS hiccups (I even had Enhanced Blood Textures running too) but there wasn't a single CTD! Tried my luck with 200 and managed to spawn all 200 but using the "killall" command Skyrim froze however this is the first time EVER the game froze and I'm level 42 with over a 100 hours invested. This tells me something, I actually managed to cripple my GPU! Yes, my 4GB GTX 680 actually gave out before Skyrim's engine, who would have thought anyone could EVER say that? Thank you to everyone for finally getting Skyrim stable.
  6. It's happening to me too, using RealVision ENB, any advice?

  8. Yep, everything's been set up with NMM, BOSS, Wyre Bash and TESVEdit
  9. What could be causing this? My first thoughts are that somehow WATER and Skyrim Improved Puddles are clashing because if you notice it is all the puddles that are missing textures, any advice on where to start would be great, thanks: http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/2305/rftl.jpg http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/5691/1h4e.jpg http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/2131/n0fl.jpg
  10. Lol. you know that 2k textures are one the fastest way to get a ctd if you run out vram? - like i can make skyrim super unstable with nothing but pure texture mods . yep maybe if bethesda wrote better memory manager you wouldnt have ctd (it would still slow down and stutter though), but there is also simpler solution - like being slightly aware of the resources skyrim and mods you apply use and moderate them accordingly. or if you can bother with that - just run vanilla, if that isnt stable there are more issues with your system than skyrim or its mods I have 4GB in VRAM alone, that shouldn't be any problem to me at all.
  11. I somewhat agree with OP, after reinstalling Skyrim after a 2 month break (save descended into chaos) I was very careful about what mods I installed, I've only used 2k textures, limited the FPS to 40, left out a load of scripted mods (Enhanced Blood Textures, Wet & Cold, SkyTEST, Real Wildlife, Player Headtracking, Footprints, BFS Effects) and experienced a CTD before even making it out of Helgen Keep
  12. Found your problem, and I hate to say it, but your save is toast. Warzones is EXTREMELY outdated, it hasn't been updated in well over a year, it will completely destroy your game save on its own, let alone when it's combined with that mess of a mod list you have. Tundra Defence is another heavily scripted WIP mod that will also give you problems, stack that with Warzones and you have problems. Civil War Overhaul - This mod alone, while being updated, is HEAVILY glitched and buggy, it basically modifies half of the vanilla game. Deadly Spell Impacts causes freezing when using or seeing spells being used, period. There is a thread on here discussing it. Those are the ones I can see straight away, however there are probably many more iffy mods in your load order, unfortunately you won't be able to salvage that same game so I'd follow the STEP steps to revert back to vanilla and be MUCH more careful regarding what mods you use.
  13. Look at how many lines are referencing missing objects, have you been uninstalling mods? I'd download Skyrim Save Checker to see just what the game is trying to load that you're missing.
