  1. Honestly... Bethesda should remove the policy that people cannot get paid for their mods naturally. What I mean is Bethesda has had patreons pulled for Mods. Some groups have had to make patreons for "videos" or for a "development channel" while staying away from the word "mods" when we all know it's for specifically that. If they allowed that there would be a lot less drama, especially pertaining to Youtubers doing reviews on mods (Yes, we on Nexus do know about that thread in the Developer forum). Now the 2nd part I want to bring up is that if Bethesda plays their cards right, actually curates the products going through like how Steam does it with TF2 skins but at a grander scale this could work out. This would mean that you wont get mods that are treated as ads, or freemium mods with not all of the concepts. Instead they are either completely free, or completely paid via their creation site. Yes, we may get a lesser form of grand mods, but hey that's business and I think people do agree that those who make spectacular mods that have little to no issues should get paid for, or at least have donations, or have a patreon.
  2. Here is from the FAQ https://creationclub.bethesda.net/en Creation Club is a collection of all-new content for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim. It features new items, abilities, and gameplay created by Bethesda Games Studios and outside development partners including the best community creators. Creation Club content is fully curated and compatible with the main game and official add-ons. Is Creation Club paid mods? No. Mods will remain a free and open system where anyone can create and share what they’d like. Also, we won’t allow any existing mods to be retrofitted into Creation Club, it must all be original content. Most of the Creation Club content is created internally, some with external partners who have worked on our games, and some by external Creators. All the content is approved, curated, and taken through the full internal dev cycle; including localization, polishing, and testing. This also guarantees that all content works together. We’ve looked at many ways to do “paid mods”, and the problems outweigh the benefits. We’ve encountered many of those issues before. But, there’s a constant demand from our fans to add more official high quality content to our games, and while we are able to create a lot of it, we think many in our community have the talent to work directly with us and create some amazing new things. By the sounds of it. Modders cannot make mods for free, and then also sell it. That way there is no "Ads" for the free mods.

  4. I was wondering if this was being worked on or if anyone was willing to work on this. There are quite a few random encounters that I've seen. One of them is Kat and her Sentry Robot gus, there is Mac and his bar, there is Manta Man, there is Art, there is Mikey and Moss, and of course Clinton and Charlie. Whenever I meet these people (and the Settlers burying a friend) I always wanted to invite them into a settlement. Is there any mod where this is possible? I don't know why but meeting these people always made me want to make a home for them.
  5. Funny enough I still use Don't Call Me a Settler. I have not had any problems from it. The only issue with it is that it tends to rename settlers, which I think was hardcoded or something like that. I don't know the whole story but it has something to do with how settlers work so it becomes problematic with that. I'd love if the creator put it back, and maybe dabbled with it because it still works fine.
  6. In response to post #46561905. #46563145, #46571385, #46584680, #46591940, #46608150 are all replies on the same post. You should look into the Fear and Loathing in New Vegas guide. They give you ideas of what to do and how to apply mods to a way where your game will run smooth as a baby's bottom.

How dare you speak with logic!!! Get that Logic out of here!!! With what you say, this is exactly why I am not oped into not testing this out lol. To those who are testing, have fun. I am however looking forward to the mods that bring back saving, fast travel (Even though I don't use it, except for testing purposes), using console commands (again testing purposes), and the ability to change difficulties on the fly.
  8. Oh it works like that? Shoot I'll give it a shot. Thanks. EDIT: Doesn't work for me actually. It works if it's headwear, but not eyewear.
  9. Something I've noticed. If your character wears glasses of sorts, and you take off the helmet, or if the helmet gets destroyed the glasses are not shown on the character. Is there any way to keep it on the character? Like if you don't have the helmet you can still wear the glasses like you can wear a helmet or hat?
  10. Someguy2000, I love your mods, and I'm happy to see you around. Your mod, along with 2 others are the most anticipated mods in my book before Fallout 4. You are an inspiration that makes me want to learn how to mod as well. I hope you continue with your Youtube series because man, you are hilarious and they are just great stuff. I see that Alchestbreach is doing Bounties II in anticapation for the 3rd installment. Best wishes man.
  11. Workable Security Cameras? Holy crap you guys went all out. Talk about pushing this Engine to new heights. I am amazed at what you guys can do. I'm so jealous!
  12. Take your time, have fun with it, can't wait to check it out :3
  13. Oh nice, cannot wait. It has me interested. I saw a scene that looks familiar, and I believe I was in the room when Elijah was putting some of the voices on. I cannot wait to try this out.
  14. You guys deserve it. I've been seeing you guys do this for some time through Elijah Lucian and Alchestbreach. It's good work. Hell I think Gopher would love to do a playthrough of it as well. Spectacular work guys, take your time, we can wait, and have fun with it.
