In MMOs pets teleport to you after X distance. That would be odd, and unrealistic - which is a goal in single player games. Got very little to do with AI. AI is how a NPC/Pet will attack the target. How do they attack? They take the fastest route. This means you can jump up a rock, jump down a rock, jump up a rock, etc, etc. A good AI would jump up with you, and outflank you. Only short single player games got that feature. The AI is terrible in both every MMO, and TES games. THough, you do not play TES games for good AI. Then you play stuff as GoW. look it up wow when released had trouble with ai of their minions and ended up using a system of movement speed ( the closer the minionis to you the closer his movement speed is to yours and the further away from you he is the faster he goes, witch i think at max distance hes @ 200% running speed but you cant see him this far away from view distance ) and they have different collision rules then players thats all now for those about to say skyrim is trying to make things look real, well you tell what looks more real a person walking trough a chair to run away from something or a person not being able to navigate around a chain because its to clumsy while a bear is chasing ... now before you say skyrim just released let me remind you wow is something like 6 or 8 years old !!!!!!!!

Besides lol do you seriously think that when the game says i have 260 hours of play that i was actively pressing buttons lol, they probably count the time spend alt+tabing or afk lol. btw if you cant tell i just like this style of gaming, and ill be honest im really just pissed I feel i should have gotten a heads up when buying this game. It should have said WARNING NOT COMPLETED GAME BUT WILL BECOME AMAZING WHEN WE RELEASE A WAY FOR PLAYERS TO ADD CONTENT then i would have said to myself ohhhh ok keep track of that ck release and in the meanwhile don't bother XD o.O cuz properly fixed this game will rock, but currently immersion is broken even if the game is still " good " it sucks that its tedious to play .

Ahaha....wait.. you are serious? They got the same AI as Skyrim got: Run to target, follow the closest path, no jumping. No AI there. Depends. Most MMO dies out rather fast. The only going strong is out very own, but also dying, World of Warcraft. These guys got multi trillions. Bethesda doesn't got enough money to do what they want, not int he timeframe they get. I agree with you that Skyrim gets boring fast. I just struggle to see the comparison to MMOs -- Most MMOs dies out because they are just bad, and the ones still active swim in money. im going to have to argue with you on this one ... im a lover of pets in games, if there is an option for a summon i get it or play the class with that option in every single game i get and the pathing in skyrim reminds me of the baldurs gate days. i mean in wow ( world of warcraft very bad game i dont recommend that carebear game to anyone) i had a hunter and warlock and deathknight and never NEVER did i turn around and my minion was missing. yo i took a flying mount ( quest special bypasses pet dismiss of the normal mounts) and flew over a mountain to find my pet waiting for me when i landed right were i was precisely below me you know what i had a situation in skyrim where there was a troll across the river and i had a dremora summond on my side and it was the funniest s*** ever in my life, i should have made a video. yo the troll was just jumping where he was standing and moving back and forth from his cave to the left side where the mountain connected ( kinda hard to explain) and my dremora was trying to go back and around a mountain we ( ok I ) had just passed to get to the troll ... ( yeah thats right he got lost crossing the mountain i came face on with a troll across the river, summon a dremora and start loling for a solid 15 minutes then i say to myself f*** this im making a rogue/vampire )

wouldn't it be super if they tough of making snow accumulate on your clothes/armor while you spend time out in the snowing parts... when i got the game i went to a snowy part and zoomed out in 3rd person and waited for snow to show on my hero... needless to say i was disappointed lol

I got nothing against people not liking Skyrim. I like seing things from different sides. However, trying to push nostalgia into it does not help. If somebody wants Morrowind, why not play the game? This is Skyrim, not Morrowind or Oblivion. If people crap on logic, why can't I crap the logic back at them? you most certainly can XD thats the purpose of general forums o.O

lol kool mods btw XD and lol i knew the mod scene would fix this game no matter what witch is why i just bought it when it came out, im just saying that every bandit i cross has a steel/iron sword and bethesda could have made more then one model for the commonly equipped by their npc's ...

same thing for me i think the steam workshop is garbage, ive been installing mods from the internet since baldurs' gate 1 and thats how i like to do it XD

you know your absolutely right about all you say ... graphically and all that, but if like me and your computer sucks ass and you play on minimum till you get a new pc upgrade all your left with is content and the content in this game is s*** lol ( well at least thats my opinion im not saying your an idiot for disagreeing, if you do, but honestly that's my opinion)

EXACTLY THIS GUY GETS IT ... its like if the people who play and test these games didnt go up and say : ehhh... yo this pressing Q all day is breaking my immersion you know... the game feels like its incomplete like heres another not very imersive consept, your a vampire and the only way you can drink is if someone is sleeping... you cant catch someone and bite him thats a nono, you cant put some blood in a jar thats to hard ( could be sold at dark brotherhood, way to complex) a dead body is way to grossly complicated to program compared to a sleeping persone, you know what ok no prob i can deal with that. to make i dont know how many identical forts and caves and blah blah blah but you cant make 1 place( fort, cave, clan, 2 guy in the jungle holding their prick waiting to say hi what ever) for a lvl 4 vampire to go and still have faction ... right ... hmm nice its ok ill go swing a deadra model sword in the face of a bandit chief wearing the same, mandatory for his rank of course, steel armor XD

ok lol i didnt meant to give you the impression im saying oblivion is better then skyrim today but when oblivion came out i was still playing morrowing and it felt like woohoo upgrade baby, but from oblivion to skyrim ... i feel restricted... i wana hop on water (athletics rogue skills were bad ass) (or walk on water o.O) i want the option to design my own spells and item enchantments ( all vanila options) i want the freedom of oblivion PLUS more in skyrim vanila i feel blacksmith/alchemy/enchanting are MMORPG skills not solo RPG skills ... NOBODY LIKES GRINDING are you kidding me take away unique skills and replace em by mainstream ones ... thank god for modding!!!! However to all who are gonna troll me and say "you can mod this game you a**hole!!!" i repeat a mod is only fun if it adds something cool to a game not when it fixes the damn thing!! peace out
