  1. I just started getting random CTDs a few days ago... I've never gotten them this much before. I've had about 5 or 6 today. I didn't know the new Steam patch disabled the old LAA from working so I thought that was the issue. I installed the new version of LAA from Nexus and it started up fine. However, I am STILL getting random CTDs. I checked the LAA log and this is what it is reporting (notice the line in red): Loader: Getting windows version - 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Loader: Getting executable name - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\skyrim4gb.exe Loader: Making sure this executable is not called TESV.exe - It isn't Loader: Trying to get Skyrim path from Bethesda Softworks registry key Loader: Attmepting to open HKLM\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Skyrim - Succeeded Loader: Attempting to query size of "Installed Path" value - Succeeded Loader: Attempting to query "Installed Path" value - Succeeded Loader: Changing directory to c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\ Loader: Validating TESV.exe... Loader: Validation passed Loader: Getting file attributes for TESV.exe Loader: Checking if file attributes for TESV.exe and TESV.exe.4gb match - They did. Loader: Validating and checking status of TESV.exe.4gb... Loader: TESV.exe.4gb seems good Loader: Looking for SteamAPPId passed on command line - Didn't find it. Using default 72850 Loader: Creating TESV.exe.4gb process - Succeeded Loader: Allocating memory buffer in TESV.exe.4gb procress Loader: Writing helper dll name into memory buffer Loader: Creating remote thread to load helper dll Loader: Waiting for remote thread to exit skyrim4gb_helper: successfully injected Executable filename: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\TESV.exe.4gb Executable address: 0x400000 Unsetting LAA Bit Getting Handle to KERNEL32 - Succeeded Redirecting GetModuleFileNameA Attempting to load SKSE - Failed -> The specified module could not be found. skyrim4gb_helper: returning from DLLStartup Loader: Freeing memory buffer in TESV.exe.4gb process Loader: Checking if LAA has any effect - It does. Loader: Checking if LAA flag worked for TESV.exe.4gb process - It Did Loader: Starting main thread in TESV.exe.4gb process Loader: Exiting I don't know if that means the mod is not able to work? Regardless, I am still getting random CTDs...
