Print screen => paste in paint doesn't seem to work in Skyrim, so how are you supposed to take screenshots?

There is a skeleton key in this game, same as in Oblivion. Which does make lockpicking perks kinda pointless.
Lock picking is pure luck, even if you know what you are doing, sometimes you get it with one pick, other times it might take 10 picks. There is no anticipation involved with guess work, and master locks with low skill have a very, very narrow sweet spot, meaning you could easily work all the way around the lock and miss the small sweet spot and end up using 20 picks without even turning it a little. Is it hard? No, its just luck. And most stuff that is master locked has a key somewhere that opens it. And from my experience, master locked chests don't necessarily hold any better loot than any other chest. So chances are you can just skip it and you aren't missing anything useful.

Uh, maybe if its an MMORPG or something, but I never found a use for clans in FPS games. And Clans are useless in MMORPGs if people don't assist each other. From my experience, most clans are leader and buddies with a bunch of random recruits. They spam to recruit people, and then offer them no benefit for joining. To them you aren't even really a person, you are a number, a stat in their clan ranks. That is WoW for you, lol.

What kind of power supply do you got, and do you have a free PCI-E slot for a better video card? How many ram slots available, and what type of ram does your motherboard support?

I think its childish, immature, and quite a bit on the strange side for adults or even teenagers to have a fascination with colorful little ponies. Just my 2 cents. My little ponies sounds like a toy I might buy for my 4 year old daughter.

But anyway, the ice troll you encounter on your way to meet the monks for the first time is impossible to beat for any mage character, for instance. Even though they're "weak to fire" a single firebolt does 1/25th their life and by the time you can cast 25 of those you're far beyond dead. Mid/late game it is always better to use a melee weapon over magic, except in instances where you're being swarmed by a lot of enemies (which is... almost never) in which case AOE spells are decent, but only when you can anticipate an encounter and prepare, timing the spell just right. And even then, all those attackers will likely be left with 20-40% of their life, which you'll have to fight off with 0 magicka.
Maybe if you just rush the main story without doing anything else. And even if you did you could run past that Ice troll, but if you couldn't beat the ice troll you are going to face tremendous difficulties on some of the later fights.

In my area they have what are called alternative schools for trouble makers and bullies. The ones who get in fist fights, and etc, quickly find themselves expelled from the normal school system and into an alternative school, that is much stricter and the next step above alternative school is juvenile detention, which is jail. I almost found myself in an alternative school for refusing to go to detention, which got me a Saturday school, also refused to go to that, so I got a 3 day suspension, and was warned if that happened again, I would be going to alternative school for the rest of the year.

"One of the reasons people came to hate Soviet bases on their lands, before the collapse of the USSR, was that they had not been asked permission but had been imposed upon. The USSR was monstrously intrusive into other people's lands and its presence was always hated by many. A major part of this was the presence of large numbers of Russian troops. In comparison the presence of American troops is far more positive. Yet in many lands where there are American bases, local peoples now want them reduced or removed and one major argument for this is that they were never asked. Eg. parts of Japan. I could find other examples if you wish."
Seriously you are going to compare the Soviet bases to the American ones? Soviet troops where placed in eastern Europe as part of their occupation of their imposed satellite status of those states. The bases in Japan were an outgrowth of the surrender of the Empire of Japan and later to protect them from the USSR and Soviet China, both of which the Japanese wanted especially after the occupation of the Kuril Islands at the end of WW2. It is an extreme stretch to make such a comparison between the USSR and the US even with the minor caveat that you added. It seems the only thing you do want, is reinforcement and validation of the opinion that was preformed before you started this thread. You might have well have just added 'ANNP' (Americans Need Not Post) to your initial post, that way you would have been able to get what you really wanted.
You know one could say the same about America keeping troops in foreign nations to enforce the satellite regimes it created in those nations with former regimes they toppled. Of course this isn't the case in Australia, but certainly the case in a country like Iraq, and Afghanistan.
When America Invades someone, they tend to stick around and leave a long term presence. You can see this in Germany, Japan, Korea. And now Iraq and Afghanistan. Americans would throw a fit if a foreign military was allowed to make a base on US territory. There is no reason to believe the people of those countries above don't feel the same way about American bases in their countries.

I hope they return the ability to make custom spells in the DLC. Also why are there no destruction debuffs? Include elemental debuffs in the game. I don't see any reason why you couldn't debuff run or attack speed, armor, or etc. Put some spells in there that do that.
I also want to be able to ride a dragon and fly around skyrim, put a shout in there that summons a dragon you can ride.

Is this with Shadow detail set to ultra? I got a very good PC, and I can't run the game and get more than 30 FPS with shadow detail on Ultra. And if frequently dips in the teens. This is full HD by the way, 1920x1080.
On the other hand if I set shadow detail down to high, I get 50-60 FPS. This is with everything else maxed out, all reflections on, and FXAA enabled. Why such a huge drop between High and Ultra shadow detail? The shadows are really crappy in Skyrim because they frequently flicker and it looks like crap.
Can you post which mods you used to improve performance?

yea the first few times i got invaded were by Ring of Fog user and Tranquil Walk of Peace user. i continued to play online, but if i got invaded id just QQ out. im good at PvP. i could take any invader on in Demons Souls no problem, but everyone in Dark Souls spams the same stuff and it gets annoying. but i like online for this hints and the occasional coop session. but yea, not being able to play with friends reliably sucks. me and a friend were both in the Warrior of Sunlight covenant, which is supposed to help your chances of coop with members of the same covenant. we got 2-3 sessions pretty easily. only took a few minutes (not as fast as Demons Souls, but acceptable) then after i didnt see his sign for like 2 hours. saw it once, but the summon failed. so even though we had what seemed at the time like we figured it out, only went down the tube to being really frustrating.
but even this new patch doesnt promise to fix anything about coop. so far its only mention balance issues and "other stuff" and players are hoping that means coop.
i beat Dark Souls, and got about halfway through NG+ until i got bored. ill go back eventually. id like to platinum it like i did Demons Souls (though i did that in one sitting) but its gunna be a bit before i go back.
Fog ring is getting nerfed, and so is tranquil walk, and the swap casting glitch is supposed to fixed.
A few other minor changes, the maxed out pyro flame got nerfed from 270 down to 230, Crystal Soulmass and Soulmass got a 25% damage cut. Crystal ring shield is nerfed also, which currently does an obscene amount of damage. Magic shield is fixed now and no longer makes you invincible. Stat scaling weapons do more damage now. Some cases as much as a 20% bump in damage. They really needed it.
Here is a Dark Souls weapon damage calculator, and the numbers for the 1.05 patch are included:
http://sites.google.com/site/darksoulstats/dark-souls-calculators
Also compares the numbers to the 1.03 patch, in which there you can see scaling weapons got a bump. 40 STR a Manserpent Greatsword +15 does 506 damage, but a Lightning +5 Manserpent does 610, that doesn't scale to any stat. Its pretty obvious you don't get much of a bonus to damage past 40 in this game. Manserpent is the best STR weapon IMO because it can chain very well, and has good stun lock.

Especially when it comes to sexualising children with nude meshes, and etc. I find the idea to be rather disgusting and distasteful. And it is also illegal in many countries. I am not sure if this site allows that, which is why I am asking if any boundaries are set?

I got an I5 2500k with a Radeon 6950, on full ultra everything, including shadow detail I get FPS sometimes in the teens in town, basically unplayable. But if I take Shadow detail from Ultra down to High, I get 50-60 FPS with no stuttering. I hope this helps anyone else having performance issues with a similar system to mine. The shadows are done really crappy in this game anyway, you could even turn them on low if you wanted, and leave everything else on High/Ultra, even FXAA and reflections enabled.

You can currently use the console to take away ill placed perks, and then add them to where you want them. My first character had about 12 ill placed perks that weren't really needed, so I then had enough to put into something much more beneficial.
A full respec mod would be more convenient.

The occupy protestors have a legitimate quarrel with the government and the system. Anyone can post pics/video of the most nutty of the protestors and use them to define that entire movement. Like Fox News does.

Redistribution of wealth has nothing to do with real Socialism. This is a neo-Liberal fad. Not all Socialists are Communists either. I'm a Socialist and I believe the ones who produce wealth should be the ones who make it. Not the ones who gain wealth by creating nothing. A banker for example, who loans $10,000 to someone at 30% interest doesn't create wealth, they feed off the ones who do. When the entire country is in debt, it is not the bankers and loan sharks who suffer, it is the ones who work and produce wealth.
The debt could be ended right now by Nationalizing the banks, and offer loans for people who qualify at 0% interest. Basically we eliminate the entire sector of the market that thrives off loaning money with interest. Whether anyone realizes it or not, and whether you take a loan out in your entire lifetime or not, in some way you are paying extra/making less because that banker is owed interest on loans. When a company is in debt, they have to look to cutting costs somewhere, and it is usually labor wages and benefits that get cut as a result, as well as increased prices. What is happening today? Labor is remaining stagnant and prices on everything are going up. Many jobs pay the same now as they did 10-15 years ago. In the mean time inflation has risen over 20%. So you actually make 20% less now than you did 10 years ago because of all this debt.
I don't believe in spreading the wealth around or any other such nonsense, but I firmly believe the ones who create wealth are the ones most deserving of it.
Even Marx said the ones who do not work shall not eat. So spreading the wealth around isn't even a Marxist idea.
The current government is not only against Conservative principles, but also against Socialist principles. I heard the term Crony Capitalist thrown around before, and I believe that is pretty accurate.

Its an interesting idea, but what if someone wanted to implement just a couple of the said things, and not really the others?

One of the first mods I'll probably do since this annoys me as well. Unless someone beats me to it. Let's face it, spells stop being effective for anything after level 30 unless you're geared up for it, have all the perks, have all your levels spent in magicka, and are using potions and staffs to supplement your regen.
My idea would be to change spell books so that earlier level spells can be upgraded several times in order to be comparable with higher level spells. But this is primarily just because the mechanics of some of the earlier spells are more preferable to higher ones at certain times as well as quickly become ineffective. Each level would increase both damage and cost slightly, so that it wouldn't be unbalanced, and probably have a skill requirement for each upgrade based on level of spell. I think I remember Todd mentioning that some sort of mechanic like that would have been in the game, since you get so many duplicate books, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
Destruction spells can be cast for free with enchanted equipment. I got 4 pieces enchanted with -25% cost, and it stacks up to 100%. You could easily enchant equipment to be able to cast 2 schools of magic for free with 100 enchanting. Although I do think the damage should scale up based on something. Destruction damage scaling up based on level would be sufficient.
I'm sure some have already noticed the crazy damage that can be done with melee weapons and even bows, spells don't even come close to that.

Consider adding
iNumHWThreads=4
bUseThreadedParticleSystem=1
bDecalMultithreaded=1
bUseMultiThreadedFaceGen=1
bUseMultiThreadedTrees=1
To your SkyrimPrefs.ini
I don't know if it actually makes any difference [haven't compared with what happens with iNumHWThreads=2 for example, but all my cores are busy with iNumHWThreads=4, so my guess is multithreading works, but for some reason Bethesda refuses to take advantages of it].
****EDIT
I originally thought this worked, but I made a mistake and clicked high settings instead of ultra, and the problem persists, with or without doing that. I am really pissed I can't max this game out with the PC I got which is technically a solid PC.
On Ultra the game is borderline unplayable, FPS hovering in the teens at times. The Bethesda logo on start up lags, and during Fraps it shows 12-15 at the bethesda logo. I mean for crying out loud I got a top end CPU and got 2 top end GPUs and my performance in this game SUCKS.
What is even more pathetic is I got a 4 year old Emachines that can run skyrim on low and get 20-30 FPS and I can't even max the game out with a top end machine. Way to go Bethesda.
-
We tested it naked, but her Heavy Armor skill IS 10 points higher then mine, note, this is when you go to CRAFT the item, not actually wearing it.
The numbers you see are prior to equipping are the same numbers you get when its equipped.

Any plans to actually make the robe useful? I dunno at least give it some more - cost and some extra magicka regen. I was using a master Destruction robe over the archmage one. And the Archmage robe also takes up a head slot, which is the biggest problem I got with it. It should have better magical effects to make up for the fact it takes more equipment slots.

This probably won't help much but you can make a shortcut to the skyrim launcher, and go into properties of the shortcut.
add +fullproc to the right of skyrimlauncher.exe so it'd be
<disk>:\<Pathtoskyrim>\SkyrimLauncher.exe +fullproc
right in the target box.
It apparently makes skyrim increase its processor priority, as if you alt tabbed out and increased it manually in the task manager.
Won't help you use multiple cores though.
I'll try that and see if it gets me any better on completely maxed settings.
I can get 60fps on basic ultra settings, using only 1 GPU, but if I turn everything up, the FPS drops in the 25-30 range and it stutters frequently. Having crossfire enabled actually gives me a drop in FPS over having it disabled, its pretty substantial, 45 FPS compared to 60. Partly due to ATI drivers, but mostly due to this game only using 2 cores.
On the Tom's Benchmark, the only reason SLI 460s get anything over a single one is because they are a lesser powerful card that wont get bottlenecked by using 2 cores.
I honestly don't even know why Bethesda recommends a Quad Core CPU when the game doesn't even make use of it.
-
Currently my I5 2500k with dual radeon 6950s aren't doing me any good in this game because I would be hitting a CPU bottleneck, because it only uses 2 out of 4 of my cores. Meaning I cannot max this game out completely and get 60FPS, when technically I should be able to if it actually used my CPU.
Would it be possible to mod the game to make full use of a quad core processor? Like most other modern games?
Anyway here is the Tom's Hardware benchmarks that prove this:
