Hi I hope someone has an answer I googled but could not find one. I just did a clean reinstall of SSE. I updated my graphics driver yesterday. I installed SSE and with no mods at all (except the creation club stuff) my skyrim is running painfully slow. Does anyone know what could be causing it. I do not have a nasa computer, but it is well able to run a modded sse. like I said 0 mods. I'm baffled.

Thank you for your help. I set the nxm, but firefox still will not download with manager. Just to be sure I used microsoft edge (not really a fan) and it worked just fine. Guess I will have to use edge until I get firefox to play nice.

As you can see from the title I cannot download any game mods with mod manager. I have tried several game mods. I also tried different mod managers. Nmm, vortex, and mo2, mod manager button does not work with any of them. This has been going on for 2 months now. It started right after I subscribed to nexus premium. I wanted to try collections, but since I can't download with mod manager I can't. That was a big reason I got premium. I do not know what could be causing it. I am no tech wizard, but I have been modding games (mostly FO4 and Skyrim) for several years so not entirely a noob. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Almost forgot, my browser is Mozilla Firefox if that could be the issue.

I made a Riddickesque character (was even able to do a not too shabby job of makin him look like Riddick), but I cannot find a single black tank top. Pastel Raider would have been perfect, but the author has hidden it. I am no modder,. I struggle with outfit studio. Some nice modder, please help an old girl out. (I'm not above using the "old lady" card if I have too :devil:)

apparently the eff patch for relationship dialogue requires it. didn't know that till I downloaded the patch and vortex told me there were missing masters.

I just built a house. whole thing is modded, double solid roof and glass in windows. Yes I checked to make sure the rain occlusion box is checked. my character is not just wet, it is raining inside the brand new house. took out the mod roof and used the barn floor and inside rain stopped. game does not recognize the mod roof I guess.

When I am searching for a follower mod is there a way I can filter it for male and female? I generally have to sift through a freakin ton of female mods to find the few male mods I am looking for. There are 100 pages of follower mods for skyrim. Out of that 100 pages I would not be surprised if more than 3/4 are female. really rather not sift through that many females.

I moved my steam folder from program files to documents. I don't know how to get mod manager to know where to look for steam. Tried looking in mod manager config with notepad, but honestly I don't know what I am looking for. Help plz. And just 1 suggestion.... for skyrim or fallout can you put male and female follower mods on seperate catagories? Im a female player and I look for male mods, but I have to wade through a TON of female mods to find male ones. ty for any help. Wow I totally messed this up. good news is mod manager has the correct file path now. bad news I gotta get all those mods all over again. le sigh

tyvm Wax. That did the trick. You only learn by asking (or fiddling with things and messin em up. lol). Now that I got things fixed I can get on with playing the game.

How do I make the plugins read only? I am having this problem with homemaker and ponytail variations.

TY SirTwist, it worked. I am now a very happy camper. lol the skirt is kinda short in back for my taste, but LOVE the boots.

I am a mod noob so bare with me plz. I downloaded outfitter and body slider, and made the body I like. I then downloaded cute yen outfit, but when I equip it in game I have the vanilla body. If I unequip her gear she has the cbbe body. I have def missed a step or 2 (3?) somewhere. Any ideas?
