thank you for your help thank you shame, what I wanted to do was take the griffin sound to use to mod something in another game (this game has a griffin you can use in your character, but it's sounds are weird, sounds more like a goat...)

I'm trying to mess with the sounds myself too. I was wondering how did you dealt with the .vo/.srd/.srq file formats? I wanted to use the monster sounds, particularly extract the griffin ones, but all voices seem to be in that format and I can't open it in audacity like the one used in cutscenes. Couldn't find help in google.

thanks, but they seem to be in a format that cannot be opened with Audacity (.vo/.srd/.srq) unlike the audio for cutscenes and bgms. Any idea how can I open or convert them?

Been browsing and extracting files for hours but I can't find them. I'm looking particularly for monster's grunts and screams and the like.
