"Greetings Argonian!" Gelderon says with a friendly smile. "What brings you to these parts"
-
"Not that I know of Rio'th." Gelderon stares at the stranger waiting for a response.

I suppose its called the school of destruction because the powers in that school of magic all have destructive capabilities in the natural world. The usefull reasons to use the school are overshadowed by mans want for power. That potion does indeed sound usefull! You will have to tell me that recipe later. Though escaping fights is only a last resort, if I can, I try to disuade them altogether. Although, against an Ogrim Titan I have a feeling words would be of little use! That dagger would indeed be useful in the wilderness. But as for me, I have no way to kill wild animals, other than giving them a swift blow to the head, which usually just gets them routy. I would probubly end up eating plants or some such if I was caught in such a position. OOC:Well, if it ever happens again, just throw yourself head first into the conversation and hope for the best. We wont mind at all!

"I hold no prejudice torwards any race, nor am I for slavery." Gelderon wispers the last part of his sentance. "My skills encompase a great many things, healing is merely my most advanced. I have no destructive abilities, nor hold and destructive wishes for anyone. I do however have some skill in alteration. I can levitate if any need arises to do so. That sums up my magical abilities, but as for my physical; I wear no armor and yet am quite good at protecting myself with the accomodations I do have. I have decent ability with my staff, though I use it only in defence. I do not seek to cause injuries to anyone because in my profession I can refuse no-one my services. If I were to hurt a man I would surely have to heal him as well. Needless to say that would not work out well in a battle for me. Gelderon chuckles at his foolishness. OOC: I do remember you being here before me, and my friends, but you had stopped communicateing a whie back. Implyingthat you may have left the bar and embarked on a quest of some sort. I was merely trying to keep the continuity going. Sorry if I offended you in any way. ^_^

Gelderon becomes very interested in this stranger. He is somewht cautous because of the recent incident with the phantom. He fears that this strangers appearance was too well timed with the phantoms dissapearance. Of course, it could just be coincidence... "I have a bit of the alchemist in me also. It comes with the line of work. I cant very well sit in a house nursing a patient while others suffer. I give them their medicine and leave them be, unless it is a dire condition of-course! It seems that you are a most usefull fellow! I suppose the reason you came here was to sell your wares. Whats your name, and from where do you hail my friend?"
-
"No thank you, I can heal much more dire wounds than a simple lump, but the thought is appriciated. Are you a healer such as I, or do you simply have some knowledge of the healing arts?" At this Gelderon covers the lump with the hand his ring is on. The ring glows slightly brighter as Gelderon chants under his breath. As he stops chanting the ring returns to its normal state. Gelderon removes his hand from his head and reveals that the lump is now gone. "Much better!" Gelderon mutters under his breath. OOC: you should probubly read back a few pages (about 3) to see what is going on and who we all are. It is possible that your character had overheard the conversation and had been in the bar all along so it wont be a break in continuity for you to know about our names and other facts we stated before.

OOC: Thanks malchik and will do next time, i just wanted to make sure i wasnt breaking any rules by takeing care of Marcinious myself. Gelderon falls backwards out of his chair and his staff falls from his hand and hits his head. Gelderon gets up, though stunned, and looks around. "What in Vvardenfell was that!" Gelderon then puts his hand on his head, caressing the lump now riseing on it. "Well, that was quite nimble of me!" He says with a laugh.

OOC: I sent a report to the mods asking to either get him active again or take control of him and make him leave the cantina i.e. he will most likely NOT be involved in any quest, should we decide to pursue it. :ranting: I feel 8 days was enough time for him to reply or at least make his character leave the cantina and give closure to his part in the conversation. We are sorry Marcinius... :rip:

*laughs* "Well, Lich, its good to have you with us! As for me, I carry this..." Gelderon takes out a long staff. It was silver, aprozimately the same hight as Gelderon himself. It had a handle made of dyed black netch leather and had heavy composite metals at each side to make it swing harder. "I use it for defencive purposes only, this weapon is non lethal, though if used properly can be." OOC: If we are to embark on any quests we will need a DM. If either of you are qualified then you should start thinking of a quest and/or storyline! thank you!

"Well, we know all about each other now." Gelderon quietly thanks Rio'th for the drinks. "Quite an amazing story dark ranger. So the gods gifted you with that bow?"
-
"No, they did what they thought was right... I dont think any of those guards even knew about Tel Fyrs corpsusmorium. Though if they are ever hurt I would do nothing to heal them! Of course the old guards are probubly retired, new ones may have taken their places. No, I would have you do nothing to hurt them." Gelderon looks down at his ring and remembers the years of joy he shared with his wife. A small smile creeps on his face. He faces the dark ranger. "Thank you anyway friend, should you ever need healing just come to me." OOC:Marcinius, if you dont pick up your respoding rate, we will unfotunately have to continue the conversation without you. Sorry :bye:

Gelderon pauses, as if he means to speak, he struggles to get the words out. "It was given to me by my late wife." Gelderons face grows grim, "She gave me this ring and told me I should use my healing powers to help people. Shortly after I left, my wife contracted corpus, she kept to herself for days. One day she left the house, now a corpus beast; she attacked a woman on the street. The guards rushed to save the woman, but they got there too late; she had killed her... The guards, in their anger, struck down my wife, seeing her only as a corpus beast." A tear runs down Gelderons face. "The townsfolk were so afraid the corpus would spread that they put her in my house and burnt it all down. This ring is my last possesion, its name is Compassion. You see, my wife was a great enchanter, and this ring was her anniversery preasant to me. The best I can figure, she must have contracted corpus from a contaminated soulgem, or a weapon given to her to enchant. The ring enhances my healing skill and fortifies my willpower." Gelderon stares down at the ring, trying to hide his emotions. "I didn't mean to ramble on like that, I'm sorry... So know you know why I'm here, wandering the countryside."

"Shii'n disks! I've only seen those things in books, are they a common weapon in Searamun?" at this Gelderon leans back to speak to everyone."I believe we can trust Drizzt, though I think we would all be a bit friendlier if we knew more about him. So, on that note, tell us about yourself Drizzt. And you'd best do it quick, I think the dark ranger is getting a little agitated." *chuckle*
-
Gelderon nods to his friend Drizzt and joins Rio'th in chuckling at the frightened people. Contented with his work he turns to Rio'th. "Yes, I met Drizzt in the bar once, he seemed trustworthy enough, though we never really got to know each other. I dont think we will have any trouble from him. Please, take a seat Drizzt." At this Gelderon turns to the dark ranger, "So, Rio'th and I have been aquainted, and we know your profession, but WHO exacly are you? And from where do you hail?" Gelderon takes his hands out of his sleves to reveal a strange glowing ring with engravements on it, after which he quickly covers it again.
-
Gelderon lays back in his chair, he feels he is safe enough with this Darhjiin. He notices everone is stareing at his friend. He faces a large group of these people and says, "You best be keeping your eyes to your drinks, else you might loose them!" At this everyone turns back to their drinks. "Aye, you seem like no demon to me, just a troubled traveler. Well, if you need any healing, you have a loyal healer here. And shame on the people that call you a demon, they just dont understand, and dont care to either. So, I know where your from, now what are you doing here; in the mainland of morrowind?"
