Robertwraith

I have a non steam copy of xcom ew and when I try to install it, it sayes "an error ocurred when trying to read the sourse file: c:\games\xcom - enemy within\xew\binaries\win32\xcomew.exe. I have read the trouble shooting guide and this was not in there. I have the file in question listed as an application not an .exe has anyone else seen or had this problem. Please help if you can.
