  1. People keep mentioning how easy these would be to model, which is true. The problem is that it would require completely new animations, a new weapon type to be coded in and modified AI to use them. And don't forget a perk tree for them too.
  2. I'm surprised I haven't seen any of the musical weapons in the Monster Hunter mods.
  3. I would like to see some Clannfear and Daedroth in Skyrim. New meshes, of course.
  4. Sharktooth swords are cool. :D http://mauifishingputters.com/images/bill_mounts_7-28-09_014.JPG http://www.nms.ac.uk/collections/image.php?ref=p0000005357.jpg&width=350&height=500&scalemode= http://static.zoovy.com/img/tikimaster/W640-H480-B8e7a47/H/dpp_0099.jpg
  5. Those pauldrons are from the Carved Nordic armour, though.
  6. Are you mad? Norse and Celtic share a lot of features, and often interacted with each other. In my opinion, a perfect place in Tamriel to integrate Celtic themes would be the border regions around the reach. But however you implement it, torcs would be awesome, and relatively easy to do. :3
  7. While I appreciate the lesser-clothed females aesthetically, I much prefer the intelligent ones overall. i.e. The ones not stupid enough to go into battle without armour.
  8. That's the Ritual Armor of Boethia. I know, the helmet rim sticks out too far, and it's too shiny and new. Like I said, I don't have much spare time I can work on it currently, so I doubt I'll have anything to upload for a while.
  9. Yeah, I kept thinking the mouth needs more exposure, and the shininess is really annoying me, but I've never been able to work around that for some reason. Progress may be quite slow at the moment, too, since I have a lot of work to do before Easter, and I have a portfolio to work on also.
  10. Nevermind, simple DDS problems there. :P Here's a little preview: http://i.imgur.com/yLMMUXp.png
  11. This sounds like a great idea. I'd love to see armours based on the Aedra and Daedra. :3
  12. The leaves are a bit too bright, and as they probably would have "rotten" in Skyrim climate, I think you should change that into something else. Another thing may be Darker wood on the shoulder-pads, as that would give a more unique feel. The chestplate, however, could be leather. It would look great with something like this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14913 But it shoudl be a lot brighter. The five wooden parts all have the exact same textures which is a bit immersion braking so I suggest you leave those with blank wood or make unique textures for all of them. I was also imagineng the helmet a bit of iron on it, as it would fit and make it a bit less dull. On the rest I think it looks great, however, you may add something to the belt so it doesn't look so "empty.". Good your for your limited time. Great job. I intend to make the leaves look like they've been lacquered with Hist sap, so they won't look fresh when I'm done, but not rotten either. As for metal elements (afterall, mining is extremely difficult in jungle and swamp environments), I'd rather avoid those, and to lesser extent leather. The armour this is based on is made from wooden slats, and that's the look I'd prefer it to have. I'll try to add seams and joints where I can to break up the monotony.
  13. I thought a lot about retexures, but there was always the feeling that it wasn't quite unique enough, and there is nothing in Skyrim that fit into the style I was imagining.
