I don't satisfy with lighting mods in this site. none of them suit to my preference. I am thinking to create my own mod if I couldn't find the right mod soon.

Yes it makes the night darker and in snow places it seems increase the snow level when it storms. that's all I I have seen.

Can you put the Translated mods in a separate section under their original mods?
I see it's quite hard to browse mods with these translated mods because they mixed up with their original mods and push back the original mods to further in both Search results and Category lists.

why would I want to bash to a random mod? that's not my intention. I expected someone would post a comparison images so I can clearly see what it changes. that's all I need to see.
honestly I didn't see any big different that's why I said. I have been using this mod for a couple of days but I dunno I still can't see any different. I dunno what to say anymore. the same weather I can see in the vanilla mode too
snowing, raining, and other everything exactly same as vanilla the only thing I saw is the water seems quite black during the thunder storm. so I think that's my issue.
EDIT:
I just tested it against vanilla and it seems the black water does even present in the Vanilla mode. so basically I can't see any different. O.O

Is it me or Climate of Tamriel doesn't do a very big change to the game as the Author stated?

not the Overhaul one. apparently the page of this mod was deleted so I can't find it anymore if you have it can you upload it to somewhere else and either PM me or put the link here?
I don't need the Overhaul one because it's a bit orangish and shadows are not very visible so it doesn't very suit to my preference.

oops sorry it works now. I replaced some of files to both meshes and texture folders relevant to dragon then that's why it crashes I think I need to make a new folder and change the texture path according to that and then add it separately rather than replace the files.

Dragons can't be added to the game when their race is DragonRace anyone knows how to resolve this issue?

if I use the fox race then I can't use the animations of the dragon =( anyone knows how to resolve this issue?
I can't select the DragonRace as the Race of the player I added to the CK because it makes the game crashes.

it seems adding some of MQ model dragons makes the CK also crashes but apparently MQ106Dragon model works and its race is FOX. apparently selecting the dragon race makes the CK crashes. =(

can anyone help me? I tried to add a dragon to the creation kit but it crashed. I can somehow add the dragon to the Armor add on window and it shows it properly then I added the same dragon to the player window and tried to view the preview so it crashed. I can't even add the dragon to rendering window because the entire creation kit crashes.
how I am gonna add a dragon to the rendering window? and how I am gonna view the dragon in the preview window in the player window?

do you have Realistic Lighting 3.5, not the Overhaul one. ? can you upload it plz , I currently have the 3.4a version I think it's quite old.

I'm the "sidekick" you are talking about. I was troubleshooting your problem and you already said it was fixed. If you post a screenshot, we might get to the bottom of this. Personally, I don't find it orange, as such I don't know what seems "orange" for you.
Also, it kinda irks me that you say RLO doesn't work when the mod works for the rest of us.
It works but with bugs.

Xezcente I hope now you believe me. I didn't lie and didn't had a bad intention to bash your mod and I didn't even want to bash it. I just wanted to point out an issue of your mod . it doesn't work properly so that's why I have mentioned it. sorry if you are offended but that's the bitter truth.

Thanks for helping me. I said it's fixed because I accidentally activated the Realistic Lighting 3.4a I didn't see it but later I found It's not RLO.

I can't exactly say anything about Project Reality in here since it's a big mod that covers a lot of things so let's keep it aside.
but honestly rest of them are not quite good as their authors have stated.
I used the RLO and enabled it when I went to the game it's full of orange. then I accidentally clicked on its 3.4a version on NMM and checked it worked I thought RLO worked sigh but then I later found I clicked on a wrong file. so I went to their site so what I found? Author locked the comment section by saying we are lazy people who don't want to read his essay. he doesn't seem very happy for supporting to his mod. It's quite strange there are a lot of nice Authors in here I didn't see a behavior like that from any guy from here. he is kinda rude too but he also hesitates to admit it. according to him we are wrong and he is right.
RLO doesn't work actually I read the documentation properly after that and I followed exactly what it says but still it doesn't work. one of his side kick told me to fix my monitor I was gonna ask OH REALLY? because there is nothing wrong with my monitor I took a couple of tests to find out whether there is an issue of my monitor or my eyes but both are perfect. and none of games have any issues. I even downloaded and checked on Unigine Heaven and it works perfectly without any single issues. then I removed his mod and checked so I couldn't see any orange colour issue. then I used another Lighting Mod EnhanceFX it doesn't have any orange colour issue too.
I saw somewhere that says the author of RLO is colourblind so I assume that could be the reason why the orange colour issue arises.

A. No I pretend so I can pick up women through sympathy and show them how brave I am to mod lighting with this horrible disease. Of course I am colour-blind. I ask a lot of questions or use RGB codes to get by.it's not actually orange but rather the high saturate level if you want to know exactly what is that. many people seem don't notice this because they might not care it I think and some have reported it but ignored by the Author.
I don't know it's visible in all places but I saw it clearly in the White Run's Inn. perhaps he forgot to fix that place or perhaps the entire mod doesn't function properly. not sure. but Real Lighting with Customization 3.4a doesn't have any error like that. so I suggest you to go with that.
Enhanced Lights and FX is a very good mod but it's too bright and shadows are not very visible. I checked this only in the Inn in the White Run so I can't say anything about other places. it's too bright even in Shadows.

I think this would be good tests to find out the colour issues of both your monitor and the eyes
first take this test to find out whether there is an issue of the colour of your monitor or not
then take this test to find out whether there is an issue of your eyes for identifying colours properly

if you could pass from both tests then go and look for a good Lighting Mod for Skyrim unless you have to fix your issue before looking for a good Lighting Mod. this is my advice take it if you like it. :happy:
