By "broke" I mean it simply does not start, it does not get a chance to crash. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it.

I posted this in the in the Skyrim forum, and it was suggested that I post it in SSE, so here it is and I hope to get some help or suggestions. I tried yesterday to install 3dNPC (interesting NPC's) for Skyrim SE. I down loaded the the zip fill from the Interesting NPC web site (it is actually not available for SSE on the Nexus) and then tried to use the Mod Manager to manually install the zip file, as I did when installing it for Oldrim and it broke my SSE game. I suspected that it might be a mod incompatibility and I turned off all the likely culprits and still broke, answer remove 3dNPC and, like Lazarus, SSE works again. I'm looking for suggestions from anyone out there that has installed and is now running their SSE with 3dNPC, relatively recently. Is/Are there some step(s) I should watch out for or do in a specific order? Also I do use Loot to set my load order.
