And as it turns out, it's a problem with my save game! Went to both troublesome spots that I had with a fresh character and no CTD occured. I got so flustered with trying to see if it was a mod issue that trying a fresh character slipped my mind.... Welp, looks like I'll have to start fresh yet again. Thankfully, this will allow me to overview the mods I have and see what mods I want/need and what mods could/should be removed from my load order, so I got that going for me..... Alright, so I've moved away from the area a while ago because I had tried seeing if some of the mods I had were causing it with no luck. Now, I'm at my wits end because now whenever I look roughly West-Northwest from Shor's Watchtower, I get another consistent CTD, which is preventing me from continuing the Civil War questline. I have tried going through and removing any texture mods that could cause the CTD, with no luck. I've removed any mods that could potentially add things to that area, with no luck. I don't have any landscape overhaul mods such as Verdant or Vivid Landscapes. I'm at the point where I would rather go back and play Legendary Edition because I had less issues with Oldrim!

Alright, so I tried to google the issue further, and saw something about the Unofficial patch, so I tried removing that, and the game still crashed in the same spot. I also tried disabling Lampposts of Skyrim but still had a crash. I also decided to install the Coat of Paint texture overhauls for Whiterun and Solitude, suspecting Dragon Bridge (which iirc uses texture assets solitude) being a potential cause, but it still crashed. Any other ideas than it being a bad texture?

I disabled Immersive Patrols to see if it was causing the CTD, but no luck there either.

I apologize if this has been posted in the wrong section and if my problem as been brought up before... So a while back, I was asking on how I could get a follower to follow me, and after a little bit of help and some problem solving of my own, I was able to get it to work. However, now I have run into an issue trying to create a new follower using KrittaKitty's Lykaios race. The issue is that the .npc file data saved using the spf console command isn't correctly loading (nor is the face being exported correctly when I hit ctrl+F4) within the Creation Kit. Alright, so after copying Lydia's faction list (then deleting the housecarl related ones), my custom follower started to work properly! Thanks for the input guys!

The two voice types I listed were, according to another thread on this forum, follower voicetypes that also allowed for marriage and adoption. The follower is currently set to "Ally" in the relationship tab (something I forgot to mention) I'm gonna play around with the factions once I'm back home to see if that may be causing the issue....

Alright, so for the past couple of days in my free time, I've been trying to create a custom Khajiit follower as I would like to have my own characters within the world of Skyrim. The closest I have gotten was with the Familiar Faces mod, but that started to become a little game-breaking, and I was forced to stop using it. The downside is what all he gives is the "You know..." option from UFO, the "Let's talk about home" option from "My Home is Your Home", and (apparently) an option involving bathing from "Bathing in Skyrim". I've tried both the MaleYoungEager and MaleEvenToned voices, and neither worked. I have the follower set with the Current follower faction at "-1", the potential at "0", and I have his disposition set at 90...... .... My question is what might be the problem causing him to not be able to recruit him, and how might I go about fixing that? As a note about "Bathing in Skyrim"..... I had tried about a month and a half ago to create the same follower and got about as far as I did this time around, and "BiS" was not on my mod list.
