So somehow Automatron f*#@ed up and the Head, torso, left arm, legs, and voice Categories got all mixed around and I cant create robots properly anymore.
any ideas too what Messed it up?

Updating the video drivers, the issue should be resolved, the antivirus blocking GeforceExperience, the drivers were old, with the latest drivers I no longer crash by pressing [ESC].
no my anti virus is not blocking my video drivers from up dateing, my video drivers are up too date, i checked 3 times now.

Bethesda's update has compromised NMM's operating and the mod's enabling process, seems to be a meditated thing to temporarily slow mods from Nexus and other third parties.Solution:We expect that for someone to find a solution or in a definitive way return to the previous build and block upgrades from Steam.
So i'm f*#@ed until we find a work around?

My main issue is that my mods aren't loading anymore with the first solution and trying too play Fallout 4 without mods is like eating a Sandwich that only consists of Bread.
The only lines In Fallout4custom.ini are
[Display]iLocation X=0iLocation Y=0do i put the new line above or below that? -
Upon further review that first solution only caused insanely more issues then it fixed which only became apparent after the Tutorial bit was over.
So now we are back too square one.

So I need some help with Fallout 4 crashing Too desktop when i hit Escape.I Verified Cache, removed mods that do stuff too the menus, Sand blasted out my entire install and reinstalled the entire game from scratch, and reinstalled my mods. still crashing too desktop with no error message.

So i have been trying for a literal month to figure this out. i have made 3 different characters trying to fix it and nothing has worked.
Preston no longer gives quests. at all, EVER. retake the castle won't trigger, or "go establish new settlements, or go help new settlements. Nothing is triggering accept the tutorial missions, I can't even establish some settlement on new character because of this.
Preston is only available as a companion and nothing else. I even went as far as to manually gut every single file from my system and do a clean install. Nothing worked. I don't know if its a mod I have installed or what but the game has pretty much sandblasted the minutemen from existence since i can't do any of their quests.
I sent several tickets to Bethesda about this and nothing they suggested worked.

so remember that huge teleporter we build to get into the Institute.
Why don't we make a mod that uses that huge contraption to teleport between our settlements? we Do technically have the "blueprints" why not utilizes this tech to fast travel between settlements in the new survival mode?

So I've recently started heavily modding Fallout 4 as playing with my end game character has gotten boring. I can't figure out how to get the new weapons and armor into the hands of enemies in the game. I tried sleeping in a isolated cell for 3 days (diamond city home plate to be exact) and the only thing that happened was traders started selling them.
any suggestions?

I must admit to a lack of understanding in how to craft a mod, but I must agree with this assessment considering how many new and unique weapons have been added.
If the M-9 POS can be done, then dang it.... gimmie a real pistol :smile:
A stand alone Custom model that used the same animations as the M9 wouldn't be hard etheir

After pluging 100+ hours into this game I have finally encountered bugs that break things. I keep getting a strange bug where I either black screen crash on start up with no error message unless I launch in windowed mode first, exit the game, then relaunch in Fullscreen. Sometimes that doesn't work and I have to launch in borderless windowed to play. Failing all that I just have to restart my PC.
The second one is a weird Brightness/gamma/IDK bug that turned my game from looking like this:

It looks like a really broken ENB, thing is I'm playing on low graphics with default settings. I tried reinstalling the game but that didn't work so now I'm stumped.
Any and all help is very appreciated, as I'd love to get back to playing the game without getting a head ache from straining my eyes.
(Note: I originally posted this on the Bethesda forums but "You are not allowed to post links" so I'm throwing myself at the mercy of the modding community that has helped me so often in the past with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.)

Honestly I don't wanna create another thread so i'm just gonna shot gun out my ideas/predictions/mods i really want here.
Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager - CASM: sweet lord this has saved me more time then I can count, I don't think there's a person among us that does not want CASM in Fallout 4
The Grovatron: I have watched enough alchestbreach videos and played enough New vegas/FO3 to know how much fun this mod is.
All the guns the Millenia team is most definitely planing to pump out. they always do fantastic work.
SomeGuy's mods: Without the some guy series, I honestly would have gotten bored of New Vegas a long, long time ago. his stories are fantastic, his characters interesting, and brought some much needed grit too Fallout New Vegas.
EVE: I love energy weapons, and I LOVE what EVE makes them do to people!
And whatever else we get once the mod tools finally drop. this is one of the best and most supportive communities I've ever been in and I can't wait to see what they pump out.

I came strolling in looking for updates about how this is coming along, looks like everything is going smoothishly.
Thanks for the support, everyone! It's a busy week for me, but I plan on starting a new re-casting thread at some point within the next few days, or perhaps this weekend. It depends on when I get some breathing space in RL.
As for motivation to kill Marko, I suppose it depends on your rapport with Randall. If nothing else, your character can always be driven by curiosity - or perhaps even admiration.
Another matter that I'm weighing is whether or not to add a branching conclusion. Right now the main questline is rather linear, and I've been deliberating on whether or not to include an alternative ending from some of my notes. Right now there are two endings, but they're fairly similar. Some of it will depend on whether or not I can get some of the voice talent to record new dialogue. It will present a singularly brutal moral dilemma, and that's usually a good thing in Fallout. We'll see, though.

You've done what alot of people in the actual game industry fail to do in their big budgets games, you built a character without us ever actually seeing or interacting with them. Marko feels like a looking glass. We only see the consequences of his actions, by every right, we could be alot like this guy, we have certainly killed enough people to be considered some sort of demon. But just from how NPC's talk about him I was always given the feeling that he is basically what any person playing New Vegas is if they just decide to be a dick for the thrill of seeing what its like to walk around with low Karma, or as I like to call it "a shits and giggles" play through.

Same issue, couldn't absorb any Dragon souls, had to console command my way through the final quest with miraak, my game was so buggy at this point I started a new game with a clean save, get through everything, kill my first dragon.... no dragon soul, can't complete the main quest line because the corpse of said dragon just lays there, dead, not burning away and turning into a skeleton or anything. could still loot his corpse but still, its a bug they need to fix, and soon.

Recently my game started getting a CTD whenever i received a new quest. at first I thought it was just modded quests but upon going to the rail road to pick up a radiant quest my game once again CTD'd. Tried a little bit of fiddling to see whats going on but got nothing, here is my Load order, any help would be great.
