[Blood texture is stuck on my face]

Okay, so I disabled CBBE entirely, then went back in and it was still there. I then removed my armor, and re-equipped and it didn't go away. It's amazing how frustrating this is.....

Maybe, but I've seen posts from 2-3 years ago with the same problem. My guess is that it's an old bug that's still not fixed. The old work around for removing it just don't seem to work...

I, for what ever reason, cannot seem to get the blood splatter textures off of my characters face.

I believe I had the same problem in the original Skyrim as well but this time it just won't go away.

I am using CBBE, the old version, with the game. With that said, I have no blood texture mods installed.

I've saving the game, rebooting, and re-opening. I've tried re-installing all mods. I've tried removing my armor then re-applying my armor. I've tried removing my armor, saving, exiting, and then coming back in....

It's a persistent feature... I'll give it that...

Does anyone have any ideas?
