I have the same problem!! I really really want to enter the city but the guards doesn't allow me to make up for my crime. I did the same quests and now the town just hates me. I got 3 quests inside markhart and the only way as i see it. Is to say "i'll rather day tan going to prison" and run to the quest persons and talk to em fast and be lucky to survive the attempt. Tried 5 times, still not succeded.

The guards in Markhart bugged. When i meet a guard i have 4 choises But all of em leads to the guard re-booting and asking me the same questions I say "I submit take me to jail" the guard "you will never see the sun again" i say " What is the problem?" the guard "Holt! you have commited a crime..........." i say "I'm with the Guild. then i try give him gild" the guard "not a chance" i say " it wasn't me" (which it wasn't) the guard " not a chance" i say "i submit take me to jail" the guard " you will never see the sun again" i say "what is the problem?" the guard "Holt! .............." I say "i'll rather die than going to prison" Dead.. :( The problem is. I can't enter the city and i can't do anything about it. Anyone else having same problem or even better, a solution? :) I'll be happy for anything that might work out.
