  1. I have been making a few mods only weapons up till now. Me and 2 others are designing weapons in autodesk and photoshop. WHile we are designing I started another part of the mod creation of a new ingot using current ores. That is where my problem is, skyrim shuts down just before the new,load,continue ect... menu comes up when I select the data esp file for the ingot creation part of the mod as a test( I am currently only using a simple 2 ore process Iron and Gold Ore to make a Sivler Ingot to test this atm) . As I said all I did before were weapons so there could be a few problems the first I could think of is the string in the EDID subrecord instead of it starting RecipeWeapon I am starting this using RecipeIngot not sure that would cause the problem but I am not sure. The second possibilty is Should I be using the MasterRecord - Record and Subrecords I used for a weapon to make an ingot. These are what I am using TES4 - Grup(COBJ) -- COBJ(recipeingottest) -(these are the subgroups) - EDID - COCT - CNOT - CNOT - CNAM - BNAM - NAM1. I am not using the CTDA or KWDA until I get the basic parts of this mod working then I will add those. Thankyou in advance Alterego

  3. thanks :thumbsup: I will take a good look at that. Actually what would be better is if anyone has a link to the woodcutteraxe receipe mod ( I can;t find it) I can compare the two and see what I am doing wrong.
  4. Problem fixed incorrect hex value for the forge. I am just starting mods I am starting with the woodcutteraxe mod tutorial. I finished it and added the esp file to the game but the axe does not show up at a forge. I could upload the esp I made or if anyone might know a possible problem just by the fact that it doesn;t appear in a MISC option at the forge It would be great. Thanks Alterego420
  5. Its just an option atm but it gets a little scary, for now its an option and a year from now its on official sites only. I really hope they don;t go there. All we can do is sit back and watch :facepalm:
  6. Instead of crying, complaining and arguing with everyone in a modding forum, take the time and energy it takes to complain and argue here and use that to help mod the game with the modding options we currently have. That is a much better use of your time and energy.
  7. Updated - I found a couple more items thought I would post them. When its done I will upload a file with them all. I found some cooler items as well, such as the shouts written in fire that you could place in your house or where ever as well as all 12 doom stones that do activate and give you their specail abilities pretty cool to go home to get what ever ability you want. Found a few other items as well. I will keep updating. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hello I just started working on a set of ID's that are not the normal placeatme ID's that are floating around on the net. I also am working on finding the lighting ID's and the activation ID's for items like weapon plaque, magic stone Activation ID's and others. I have found a few already I was just putting them in a document in no real order. But if anyone else is interested in them I will make a much larger list and put them in a word file to upload here. This small list is about 30 mins of work as a test to see if they are wanted. Let me know, maybe this info is already out there and I am wasting my time lol. Excuse the mess the list is currently in I could not attach a word document so I just copied and pasted for now. If a larger list is wanted I will find an extension type I can upload here. Alterego420 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is a small list of some items I found that can be placed in console by using the "placeatme" and "player.placeatme" commands. I am still having trouble moving the activation commands after they are placed. So for now if you want to activate a weapon plaque or book shelf the best way to do so for now is use "player.placeatme" for the item then before leaving console use the same command to place the item that you want activated so they are both placed at the same spot. It doesn;t work every time and if you want the item higher than you are you can "setpos z" on yourself then palce items and activations before you fall. I know this a pain in the ass way of doing things but its the best I could figure out before they come out with the official editor. If anyone else comes up with a better way let me know. As with any placeatme commands you need to use the getpos x,y,z – setpos x,y,z – getangle x,y,z – setangle x,y,z - rotate x,y,z and setscale # commands. A lot of the items placed are placed partially underground. 1.   8. hello all, I have been using the fallout mod manager with tessnip to get id numbers from the esm file to generate items to renovate one of my homes. My problem is when I delete a wall and add say a hallway that would lead to a totally new section of the orig house the walls I put in using the placeatme and player.placeatme commands can just be walked through. I found out that you cannot just make a new home or castle cause the door you place does not open, I know a building is a new load so you would prob need to add the new home to the coding I guess we need to wait for the editor for that, but anyone know a way to make walls placed with the console non passthrough? thanks in advance Alterego420

  11. THANKYOU!!!!!! This is one part of my invntory isues I have been trying to fix. I looked at the placeatme item codes but could not find the chest code. I was so tired of walking all around the property going from your chest to alchemy table then to your chest then to enchanter ect. NOw we can place a chest at our alchemy and enchanting tables as well as our forge. All we need now is a more user friendly version of the chest item list ( more like the players list with sub items). Thanks again

  13. Hello everyone. I would like to see a more advanced storage menu as far as Storage chests. When going through your own inventory you have sub menu items ie. Weapons - Armor - Books - Misc- Ect... Implamenting this on chest would be great, even go further in detail such as under armor make helmet,gauntlets,body armor ect.. This idea of detail would be great for MISC also as that covers a lot of different items. I say this as I have been playing for only 60 hours so far and already search way to long for items at times. One other idea is a way to use the console command placeatplayer ( or something like that I forget the exact syntax there are 2 different commands for this) to place more chests in you rooms, or if anyone else knows another way to place chests in new places.. It would be great to have your alchemy items in a chest or alchemy bag right next to the alchemy table( there are tables with the bag and some without it) as well as a chest at the enchanting table and one at the forge too. Just something I would like to see. Thanks L.J.
  14. hello all, I recently installed everything needed to make the Himmelsrand_Custom_Shader_Suite-240-1-3 work. When I hit the pause button I see a huge difference in graphic quality. However even after I max out brightness and increase gamma to 1.0 in my user ini file the game is still too dark. In caves I cannot see the walls its that dark i need to hit pause to turn it off in dark places. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Hello everyone I have been playing skyrim since the release date we all know there are a few things that we all would like to change or add to make the game more exciting and enjoyable for us all. That being said for me personally I like to keep my items seperated and close to where I need them for example, after when I got the arch mages room during the winterhold collage quest I would really like to place a chest next to the enchanter and antoher next to the alchemy table with their respective items in them can;t help it lol I like to keep things organized. If anyone knows how to do this that would be great. Another thing is there a mod or is it posible to make a item submenu for storage container ie. a menu for weapons, armor, books, scrolls ect. like your character item list has?
