  1. They are compatible, however there will be some minor bugs/issues (like monsters from monster mod won't show up in Falskaar and Wrymstooth etc...) Nothing game breaking should happen. Also, great username! All hail the citrus! Especially the orange kind!

  5. You have to skin the model to a skeleton.
  6. No, you need a different physics setup for those. There are some generic ones you can do (I made a loincloth physics xml that uses extra unnecessary XOMS bones) This cape one is also planned to be generic and maybe a generic one for skirts as well that's about it.
  7. I need a proper cape mesh with full weights before I can get to fixing movement and adding collisions/restraints in. This stuff was mocked up in like 2 hours, and I don't want to have to re-skin a template mesh ever again so I figure I get a mesh right now with proper length to cover all 12 XPMS bones. Add the weights and fix all the physics data.
  8. Sup, I'm looking for a cape mesh that is longer than the WIC cloaks or Cloaks of Skyrim meshes. I'm trying to make a weight template so that other modders can more easily rig Cape physics. Preferably a cape mesh that is at least as long as the 12 cape bones in XPMS would be preferable. Tools used: Mudbox 2014.5 - Retopo for higher poly cape mesh (Original from Cloaks of Skyrim) 3dsMax 2012/2014 - Transfer UV's & Base Sknning Outfit Studio - Transfer of weights Havok Content Tools 2013 - Generation of HDT compatible physics data Nifskope - Various cleanup tasks Edit: Forgot to mention, physics data is hardly optimized, but I'll upload when I get the values and collisions and stuff all working.
  9. Nevermind, Mod can close thread. For whatever reason if I use 3dsMax 2012 everything works out all right. I'll test more myself to find out why max 2014 throws the weird skin data. But yea, Physics based capes W00T!
  10. Hello, thought I'd poost my problem here as well. Spent a good chunk of yesterday coming up with some cape physics to test out. Only problem is I cannot test because for whatever reason i cannot import/export the Cape meshes in Cloaks of Skyrim properly. If I just import and export the nif, it shows up in-game like this: http://s28.postimg.org/pp26pdhm5/Skyrim_Cape_Problem.png No idea how to fix this, I attached my not working nifs.
  11. Creating your own custom Havok Collision info is fairly easy and doable. You just gotta 'clean it up' in nifskope afterwards as the exporter doesn't label the falgs all correctly. Of course, that's on Max 2014 version using the newer nif import/export plugin by ehlmatropian. (Which unfortunately does not do everything the 2012 version does) But yea, you can still follow any guide from Oblivion or Fallout for changing and customizing the havok collision. Just be sure you lookup a newer tutorial so the flag offsets are correct in nifskope afterwards.

  13. Physics? Sure that's doable thanks to HDT plugin. A lot of work but doable. Wind? Not even Apollodown was able to figure that out and it's basically an engine limitation.
  14. You add new animation by using FNIS... That parts not that difficult, thanks to fore's hard work decoding the behaviour files. Their is a similar sort of thing that was being worked on in terms of animated fishing. The person wanted to make an animated item similar to the animated crown and gauntlet stuff. Haven't heard back from the modder since though.
  15. Just wanted to confirm what Arthmoor said and that votes still do not work for this month... It just says I already voted for this month even though I haven't for April. (I actually thought this was some obscure April Fools joke, but I guess not)
