  1. Well I must admit you have a good point there, I havn't experinced much crashing myself and I've played for 100+ hours now. But if you have a problem with crashing a lot I really udnerstand what you mean.
  2. Hey, so I've seen many people writing about that the game is simply to easy, and I must agree even when putting it on the hardest difficulty. If you know where to look, you can get some of the most overpowered items in early levels, and the general challenge is just to low. The game should be more realistic in some ways, and it should just be harder to get the good items. So PLEASE let me know, WHAT DO YOU think would make the game more challenging (fun)? Personally... - One way of adding challenge would be to make save points. So imagine you could only save your game in a an inn. This would stop the nonsense of spamming your quicksaves so you can load 20 seconds before a fight so you can do it over and over again until you win. It would also dramatically force the player to really think about his/her next move. - Another thing that would make the game harder, is to stop the complete madness in letting Gloombound Mine having 16 veins.... seriously? You go there once and you have enough ebony ore for a full set of daedric armor. Once you find the right merchant, you realize that every second day he sells 2 daedra hearts..... where's the challenge? All you need to do in Skyrim is just knowing where to get it, you don't even have to fight. So reducing the veins to 1 ebony ore vein in very rare places would make it seem more fair. Daedra hearts shouldn't be sold, they should be gained only from killing. - Blacksmithing is gained by spamming iron daggers, again, where's the challenge. The only challenge is accepting it's going to be boring and still go on with it. Instead iron daggers should stop giving xp at Blacksmithing level 30 or so. And there you would have to go on to elven armor or whatever would be next for you. - Fights should simply include tougher hits. The mobs dont need more hp, this would just result in players doing the same thing... for a longer time. You need the mobs to much more so the player is forced to make strategic decisions based on the situation.
  3. Looking forward to realism in the game, and most of all MORE CHALLENGE!
  4. Some of it should just be converted into enchants like the crit and speed. But making a rune/gem system is (like the others said) to much like other games.
  5. It is definately possible, I saw a tutorial I think some place on how to make a mod similiar to that. Even though if I won't be able to find it again, it's not a biggie of what I remember and it has been made for oblivion.
  6. I'll let him know that you asked. You mean particularly story writing, quest design or? Just in general perhaps? :)
  7. Adding all this would extend the current gameplay much more. Skyrim needs to be more challenging and realistic!
  8. haha this is hilarious, it's fun to watch the different opinions. I agree as an RP'er that the ladies should be prtected, and it makes sense, because why use effort making and armor that will cover only half your body?
  9. Amazing if you can figure it out. :) Will be easier I hope with the creation kit, it seems as if it's only real programmers that actually have a chance at modding at the moment.
  10. +1 This is something that bothers me as well. I actually enjoy reading the books, but after having read about 30-40 you get lost in all the titles and waste a lot of time figuring which ones you allready read.
  11. I totally agree! There is generally to little to be made of special modification to the elves and humans imo. The war paints are to simple and to similiar, and if there is someone with just a little skill in texturing that shouldn't be a problem. However my guess is that Bethesda thought to themselves "people are going to be looking 99% of the time at the back of the head of their character".
  12. Well honestly your ideas sound a little hard. Since that they would require other mods to support this idea. Which makes it a lot of work in itself. But the idea should probally be tweaked a bit if you would actually want it out and get it to be successful. BUT I must admit you have some really nice ideas mostly, generally about the whole gameplay with the wall for masks and castle idea.
  13. I must say I agree there. I really enjoyed the fact that you would be specializing in a specific tree and such, but that all seems to fade away once you get to the level where you need more perk point and just level something random to get it. +1
  14. I do agree in some way. BUT the enchanting is debatable wether or not it's overpowered. If you play the game in the hardest mode, you will be having quite the challenge. And Skyrim is a game where they want you to do some "realistic" interaction when it comes to the freedom of movement and combat, which makes it wierd that it would be impossible to have 2 rings on? It would help make the person more specialized.
  15. Love the idea, I've been thinking of the same thing myself. Hope someone makes it :D
  16. Making such a mod, would benefit from the situation that many people want to create more quests. More quests = more people, personally I would love to see more killing missions wihtout feeling im thinnning out the entire world....
  17. I am pretty sure that's possible. wouldn't even that tough if i understand the skyrim "architecture" correctly. The "code" is allready there, all you have to do is simply readjust it.
  18. Love the idea of the mead hall as well. Would be great if you could tell whem to leave and then they would show up there instead. To sort of have a gathering of your own.
  19. hey there, well as much as I love to see new models myself, the fact that making a new model for the game to play is really hard. To my knowledge the allready existent models have certain measurements which the armor you can find are meant for. If you would want to make such a model you would either have to have a lot of experience and time, or you would have to take one of the human races and model a tail and ears on them. Either way I think it's more challenging than one would expect.
  20. I totally support this mod, HOWEVER, I would love to see some more wife oppurtunities. And well having multiple wife's would'nt hurt. Especially since they bring in money.... you'd be like a pimp. :D
  21. Hey there, really nice idea I must admit. And if there would be someone who could actually make it, that would be amazing. However the work effort of this is something that would take a small team of at least 6 people imo if it were to be released in an ok time.
  22. I really agree on this one. There is nothing I would love more than to enchant my Nightingale Armor. Which is imo something that is quite important to this game that you are able to look the way you want to and not be forced to wear something else because it has better stats.
  23. Haha that's a great idea. Wonder why they left that out from the new Elder Scrolls?
  24. Imo we actually should be getting some dragon weapons. Not only to get it since its brand new, but also because (for the fashion people) that it matches the armor. Nonetheless should there be some sort of possibility to get dragon weapons.
  25. I'd love to see that. Quite a lot of work, but very good poetential !
