  1. Hi everyone, I was happy to finally get a stable modded Skyrim (thanks to Mod Organizer, this thing is soooo much better than NMM), but I have one weird bug that I don't understand. Random NPCs get their facial expressions completely stuck outside of the scripted dialogue. Everytime when I'm in the dialogue phase where I can ask question/respond to NPCs, their faces is completely normal, but if I leave the dialogue UI, their faces get stuck on the latest expression. And it's never the same NPCs. I can't see what mod (mods?) is causing that, so I'm asking for some help before touching everything in vain. 2. Thanks for the comprehensive list! You actually suggested a lot of ENBs that I've never heard of, that's nice. I know it's a tough call, but it's really frustrating to be left with this choice between more realistic colors but washed up look and nice vivid colors but cartoonish look... I want to try and see if it's possible to create a custom ENB with the desired colors but it seems like a LOT of work. Anyway, K ENB felt really weird from the screenshots and videos I've seen, never been a fan of it. I tried NLA recently, and it was too little of an improvement over vanilla colors. Washed up category for me. I discovered Snowfall ENB recently and it actually retained my attention even if it felt a bit washed up too. But it's not compatible with Climate of Tamriel, my favorite weather mod. I might need to overlook this and try it anyway ^^ The other ones are new to me, I'll check them out. Thanks again for the great list!
  3. Hi everyone! I wanted to have some recommandation from people who actually understand the difference between color accuracy and color saturation or vibrancy. I always see people talking about oversaturation and how it can kill the realistic feeling of the game and ruin the lore, but actually, high saturated colors are important to get this natural realistic feeling with an ENB. But it needs to go with color accuracy. An ENB like Realvision is extremely saturated but the colors are way off, too fantasy, too cartoonish. It's really distracting IMO. And from what I saw, all ENBs are either a bit more accurate in terms of color but lack saturation, or nicely saturated but with awful color accuracy making them too cartoonish... Since I don't have quite the time to test every ENB out there, I reach out to you guys. What is, in your opinion, the most "realistic" ENBs that produce both accurate colors and pleasant color saturation? The first screenshot on the Skyrim WIP 2016 mod page is leaning towards a nice look IMO http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60150/?
  4. Hello fellow modder, I recently discovered JK Skyrim (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61035/?) and the lite version of the same mod (www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71018/?). So basically, this mod add tons of elements in cities (from different items to meshes and flora), just like Dawn of Skyrim (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58275/?) which I had previously. JK Skyrim is much more performance heavy than DoS, and DoS is already quite the FPS killer. And I noticed something with all those mods : when you're entering a city, Whiterun for example, you have all the city ahead of you and in that case, the FPS is crap. That's the worst case scenario though, you "look" at every single object added by the mods even if you don't actually see them. But this impact on performance varies a lot depending on the position in the city and line of sight. And that's quite frustrating, it's like everything is fully rendered in the city even if you don't directly see the items. Hence my question : does anybody know a way to reduce the performance impact of the objects and meshes you cannot see ? I really doubt it would be possible but it's worth a shot. I love those mods, but I'm going from constant 60 FPS outside the cities to 30-60 FPS inside cities, depending on my line of sight. Thanks ! Other performance hungry mods installed : RealVision ENB set to medium, a lot of 2K textures, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Unique Grasses, ELFX, SBT, Realistic Water Two. Rig : i5 3570K @4.5GHz, G1 Gaming GTX 980Ti @1400MHz, 16Go RAM, 1440p 60Hz.
