Yea defragging is one of the first things I have done because I usually have no problem. Its crazy that you said your problem was fixed with the removal of enhanced towns and villages, as I've never had a problem using it, I'll see if that'll help out

Usually I do not need help finding out if a stray mod, or something is causing my stuttering, I've been stumped by this. My system is strong enough to power skyrim maxed out w/any and all Hi-Res packs (mod and official). Somewhere along the lines, a mod is causing random stuttering into almost near slide show style FPS. I'll post my boss log just as a reference. I've tried disabling mods (w/new games, new saves, etc) and to no avail found out the problem. The problem appears near towns/villages. I haven't been able to locate it, I've disabled claralux and enhanced towns and villages, and nothing. I just can't spot the problem mod, and I remember one night before starting a new save file, I installed about 3-5 mods and that's when the problem started. I just can't recall which mods I installed. I'm not asking for people to diagnose this, but if anyone notices a problem with the mods or any conflicts I'd really appreciate it. Also, the problem of it happening just near towns, or villages may be random there have been a few times in the wilderness I have had the same problem but it is almost a guarantee to happen while approaching/near or in villages/towns. **Edit** - I have gone through most if not all Skyrim troubleshooting steps, including the ones pinned in this forum, and most other common troubleshooting areas. Thanks for any and all help, even if you can't find anything thanks ahead of time.

That's the correct folder, and if that's the case... Then your scripts are ok. Same story here, none of the scripts you mentioned showed in the folder, still have the transformation bug Is your transformation bug exactly like the one I had in the video? Yea, same thing, it was working fine then now this..no idea..its weird Do you know what you did before the bug happened? Anything at all. Hard to say, if it had any effect at all but I did use the showracemenu alt spell to edit my charries appearance. However I'm not sure if it affected it or not because I didn't use the transformation before I did it.

Same problem, 12.7 Drivers..thought it was just me, thanks for posting this. Using the 12.7 Drivers, I changed the Shadow Resolution down to 1024 from 4096, fixed the problem. Shadows look bad, but UI is fixed

When I first seen the Hold Guards Helmet (Enclosed one with a mask), I was excited because it looked very similar to the Executioners helm from Dragon Age Origins. I loved this helmet, the look, everything. It just had that Dark Knight look, it wasn't conventional, but looked amazing. Most of my keys work..sometimes Its real sketchy E Key - Does not work at all anymore, I have to manually add things into inventory via mouse click Tab - 50% of the time it works Right now, I cant even play because I when I go to poison a weapon/arrow it will not allow me to click yes to confirm or exit out of the menu... Hey guys, I'm going to be streaming live Oblivion until Skyrim release 3-5 times a week every night 12 Midnight Central until..7-9 AM Central. Hi, I'm the US "Region" and I notice downloads appear to be down, or will not start (Tried over 3 different Browsers) yet the UK File Server seems to be working fine when I try it. Wondering if its just me >.> as I cannot find anything on it on the forums

Ok so my Oblivion disk hasn't been touched in roughly..a long time. I've lost touch with the mod world, and whats currently good and considered a must "Have". I could look at the top 100, but that's only get me so far as some gems aren't seen as often as others. This is what I'm looking for and if anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it (Trust me, I'll be looking to) NPC Replacers - Faces, Clothing, etc. Armors/Clothes Weapons Textures/Meshes Body Replacers Quests/New Lands I'll be looking and updating my list for myself and others to see, but my opinion can't be the own. The main reason I started this post is because I had more oblivion mods than I could count, and would like to keep it to a bare minimum, while also enhancing the game. Thanks for the help, and I apologize if this post offends anyone. I will search and try to help myself as well, but I know there are alot of mods that go "Unseen"

I would lighten it up changing the transparency to 70-80%, other than that it looks great :thumbsup:

Make sure your sound drivers are up to date as well as your video card drivers. As stupid as that sounds, sometimes that may be the problem. Its the most repeated statement to be said but it could be your drivers.

I decided to start up the MQ again and I get to this point. Dad blows up the rotunda and your supposed to run to the taft tunnels. Well Doctor Li won't move, every time I talk to her she just says "Whats he doing in there". Dad is still somehow alive the kill command won't work on him. Oh and Dad is about 3 foot 5, dunno why, thats not really a problem, made me giggle. The problem is I want to continue on but Doctor Li wont move. Any help would be appreciated

Here is mine, his nickname is Leo after Leonidas. He is an alien that traveled to earth, to see if it could be salvaged. He found a woman to whom follows him and he use's her to understand things better. He's a master in melee combat and prefers to talk rather than kill, but when angered his rage is unstoppable. He use's a breathing mask because the radiation has a way of altering how he acts and looks.
