  1. I think The Road Warrior reminds me most of Fallout. If only we could have working cars & trucks in the game!
  2. It's the new v1.3 patch. Causing all kinds of random freezes. I now really hate that thanks to Steam, we cannot go back to the previous version of the game.. :(
  3. It's not a mod conflict. I have the same problem. Freezes when fast travelling, freezes when exiting indoor areas. Waiting & sleeping are also now broken. I tried disabling mods, but it doesn't help. The only thing v1.3 did fix is no more random CTDs while roaming the countryside. The freezing can be worked around by saving before fast travel/exiting, but the broken waiting/sleeping is a huge PITA. I just hope they fix this when the next DLC is released...
  4. Yeah, this new so-called patch is hosed. I have noticed I no longer have random CTDs when wandering the countryside, but now instead I get freezes when fast travelling to another location. Also I get freezes when exiting from an indoor location to an outdoors one. And on top of all that, sleeping and waiting are now broken. If I try to wait, say 4 hours, I get a "-1" and am dumped back out of waiting. Same thing with sleeping. Luckily the "Sleepy Teddy Bear" mod still works, but if you don't have that installed you're s**t out of luck. Great job Obsidian.. :wallbash:
  5. Bethesda really sold their soul with the whole Xbox exclusivity BS. Thank goodness for the mod community. Mods like NV Bounties and World of Pain are kicking some serious a$$, and are as good or better than anything the devs have come up with. If and when Beth decides to toss out a few crumbs to the rest of us, fine. If not then they can take a long walk off a short pier AFAIC..
  6. Must have mods for me are New Vegas Bounties, A World of Pain, Nevada Skies and Classic Fallout Weapons. Electro-City is nice too, and also the mods that give night vision with helmets and de-nerf energy weapons etc..
  7. I rather doubt you will see a Fallout game that takes place outside the US. The retro-50s futuristic Americana is part and parcel of the Fallout Universe. In any case, there is a lot of territory in the US that could be used. The northeast and southeast have not been done at all; I personally would like a visit to the Deep South. Mutated alligators, mosquitoes, snakes etc. That being said, from all the talk of the Institute and the Commonwealth in Fallout 3, I am convinced Fallout 4 will take place in Massachusetts, and possibly even further north. The next Fallout from Obsidian IMO will be in either Utah or Arizona. Just my 2 caps..
