Mass Effect 3 [Request] Liara Casual Edit/ fix
rubydorje replied to mightmagix's topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
Hello My Friend, Thanks a lot for the Liara Complexion Tweak... I have tried it out. I think the difference in colour tone is due to the lighing of the mesh. In 3dsMax the head is lot darker than the bodyâs, thus thatâs not something I can do anything about. Iâve tried to adjust the neck a little more since I could only see while I was hoovering over with the flycam, but I think in the game Liaraâs head and body moves/positioned always somewhat differently and so does not depend on what appears in 3dsMax. Have a look, but it would be too much mocking around from now on for me, Someone else might be more skillful so this is the best I could do. Good luck and enjoy it. -

MightMagix My Friend, I have fixed Liaraâs head further... no more âfunny animationsâ. Now itâs 99.99% perfect... I might adjust it next week, otherwise this is quite good... use it well... -

Mass Effect 3 [Request] Liara Casual Edit/ fix
rubydorje replied to mightmagix's topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
Thnx Magix, thatâs right. This is why I thought the head & body could not be a perfect match. While Liara is in her office thatâs one thing but when she is in her Romance scene or in this one, thatâs another... thus would need to be readjusted for every situation... This is why I think there is alway something covering the neck of the characters... this is why I think the nkd mesh is of one complete piece... Well, I hope it all worked out for you. Let me know when youâll have another question. Good luck & enjoy. -

Mass Effect 3 [Request] Liara Casual Edit/ fix

Hi. I view my emails on my iPhone and so the text are blurry in th screenshots.... in the evening Iâll have a look at it through my PC... anyway...you might have installed something else, somewhere already... just clear all that to see what happans then... I use ME3Explorer3... 1- open it 2- utilities 3- meshplorer 4- open up BioH_Liara_00_NC (either from the DLC or otherwise) (if you only replace the mesh in the DLC it should work) (you can just add OFF in front of the dlc if you want to disable it: offDLV_CON_LIAC, this way you can see whether it/or what takes effect) âthenâ 1- tap on LOD (LOD0,LOD1,LOD2) just to see or select 2- Click on "Transfer" in top menu, next to LOD 3- choose Liara_Head_XX2.upk 4- tap on it's name in the left window, 5- LOD 0 will appear in the right window. tap on that, 6- then "Import LOD" in the top menu. ) 7- wait for the Done popup 8- repeat for (other LOD) 9- save .pcc It should work... -

rubydorje replied to mightmagix's topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
Hello My Friend, Im sorry. my bad. I mistyped it. You are correct BioH_Liara_00_NC... Ive just done a bit of fixing on that head mesh. Have a look, same link to GoogleDrive. Unfortunately, I think, The head and body never be a perfect match. Ive also tried it out during the romance scene too. I think I cannot do more about it. Sorry. Just put the original DLC_CON_LIAC into the gameâs DLC folder and then with Meshplorer replace the head mesh, all 3 LODs (LOD0, LOD1, LOD2). You know you need to wait for the âdoneâ popup & then do the âsave pccâ. If you do not get the âdoneâ for a little while, just tap on the other meshes, thatâll speed up the process... So, if you only replace the mesh, it should work, the new mesh should appear and the textures should match it automatically... Good luck. Talk later. -

Hello Mighity, Look Iâve given a go and so I did some work on Liaraâs head mesh... as good as it can get in a reasonable time spent on it... could be a tiny bit better, but donât have more time at the moment... You can download the .upk file from my GoogleDrive. (link below). You can use Meshplorer of ME3Explorer and replace the head mesh of the .pcc files of the DLC with the .upk file. I havenât tried but you can surely install the Liara Complexion Tweak... perhaps Iâll have a look at it next week. Good luck and Enjoy... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QMyMIzAburqAO63QjF6BnKrXluHzMDCl -
Good job.

Hey Mate... easy as... ModManager of ME3Explorer is for .mod files & TPF tool of ME3Explorer is for .tpf files. You can choose to select the .pcc files you want to install them to.

Mass Effect 3 Please help - bones in meshes (110 Mesh)
rubydorje replied to droid25's topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
Hello there, You donât need 3dsMax 2012... You can just download the 2018 Trial version what gives you 30 days to use. So... you want all the Ladies in ME3 as Miranda? Okay. You will also need UDK for creating .upk from FBX what is a export save from 3dsMax... Mirandaâs body mesh bones 123 and Shepâs is 110, you right. Head bones for both 42 so you just need to make a .psk into .upk. I think both Mirandaâs hair and body bones are 123 because both uses all... Iâve got to go now, but will have a look at it later and/or guide you through... -
Mass Effect 3 Hi - play as Miranda
rubydorje replied to droid25's topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
I donât know too much, but it seems itâs quite easy if the voice remained same as FemShepâs just like for ME2 and so only the mesh and all the corresponding textures were replaced with Mirandaâs... I assume the so called âbonesâ for the body are the same, but for the hair that could be different... in that case they need to have some work done on in 3dsMax.... There might be an easier way, perhaps just redirect game to use Miranda instead of Shep, but thatâs something I only assume of... -
Hey there, ...very frustrating indeed... Look, I donât know too much, but from experience I think what might work, either vanilla your game or just those .pcc files you modded; along with use a new ME3Explorer file, like anew an unpack and perhaps create a new tree... Also GPG Mods I think mainly made to work with Textmod. There is a way to make (some of) them to work with ME3Explorer (I think). Perhaps provide a link to which specific mod you are trying to install. If I got you right, at saves (or otherwise) the game crashes because there is something it cannot load, like a texture is incompatible... At first just install your Mod on only 1 .pcc file and test how that works... Or just make a note of what .pcc files you altered, this way normally you only need to replace that with an original and the textures, etc. go back to normal... Good luck.

You do it with Gibbed as far as I remember... -
Great amount of info Kajana... the use of a Controller is brilliant idea, it was normal to me, anyhow there isn't much to add, just has come to my mind that if moved back to the wall there is lot more room to move between sides, although if aimed at the target and moved that way once the reaper fires - what beam actually has a pattern thus easy to guess - then can just jump sideways and regain the the aim on the target easy... good luck...
