  1. Hello My Friend, I think there might be a slight misunderstanding on my part... anyhow I think when you install texture over mesh other than the one fits, you will definitely see the change... I think when you don't see the change that might be because you have a DLC installed what overwrites the one you worked on... all the information is in .pcc files and so DLCs have the same.pcc contained in them with different information regarding let's say the characters, etc... but the DLsC have higher priority... they even made prioritized amongst themselves... Perhaps tell us what you are trying to achieve. Thnx.
  2. Hello there, ME3Exolorer has many tools for replacing textures... Open up Texplorer and You'll see all the textures the game uses... the fun part is to find the ones you want to work with... well, you can extract and change them however you'll need to resave the textures in thier right format for having them accepted... Textures correspond to particular meshes so one character's textures will/might not appear the same on a diffetent character. You could use a photo editing software like Photoshop for recolouring let's say parts of the textures... Mostly with the use of Meshplorer, the mesh of a character can be replaced with the mesh of another with the corresponding textures thus will appear different. Real great modders can use mesh editing softwares like 3dsMax and so replace or alter parts of the mesh and then match the altered textures to that... well, this is briefly I could say based on my limited knowledge... feel free to ask more questions if necessary, someone might be able to tell you more. Good luck.
  3. No worries. Ask again if you need more info... I think finding those .pcc files could be a bit time consuming although if you just open up Texplorer and find the textures you could see a list of .pcc files those textures are in use... He might be under BIOG_HMM_ARM_LENG_R..... Good Luck
  4. G'day... well if you cannot enjoy the game that way, then you can replace the mesh and the textures within those .pcc files his in by yourself using ME3Explorer's tools. Very easy job. Good luck and enjoy.
  5. Thanks. No worries. It was just an idea; would give more possibility for distinguishing one from another... even BioWare uses different naming: _CON_ and _EXP_ I guess if people like _MOD_ they could still type it in... Thank You anyway for all your efforts you put in Mod Manager and beyond...
  6. G'day there, do you think you could allow free choice naming of DLCs... instead of DLC_MOD_XXX the _MOD_ can be developers' choice like for example DLC_ME2_Miranda? Thnx a lot.
  7. Hey Mate, try 3dsMax. The Trial version will give you 30 days with every email address you login with or if you are a student you can just use that. Good luck.
  8. G'day. You just need to look in the tree for the texture location, something like this one: example only BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTHc and replace the textures there with the ones you liked... Aristea's turorial is about redirecting the game to look for the textures and mesh in a different location actually, but once you know where they are you could figure out what you wanted to achive... by the way the N7 t-shirt also replacing the Prologue phase so just have a look which one is being replaced there and so do your own...
  9. I think He did a really great job using his voice, fits with the character of Jarvik in my opinion... it never gave me the impression it was jamaican... african maybe, but not jamaican...
  10. Thanks Adrian, this is what I was thinking... Those *_*0x*.dds numbers are the texture identifiers, thus for you they do not match, TPF tool cannot place them into the right place... I don't know why, could be that other mods already made changes, you could vanilla the game and install them afterwards... The other solution is you find those # numbers in the tree with Texplorer and paste them into the # fileds in TPF tool before analysing... This way might be better but requires more effort: 1: extract the 3 (diff, norm, spec) texture with TPF tool, 2: resave them in Photoshop *see details below* 3: in Textplorer use 'Start TPF tool' 4: thus create a new *.tpf file with replacing the textures 5: Install them with TPF tool... *Diff and Spec files you can be just resaved as DTX1 and DTX5 .dds files * for the Norm you need to save it as .bmp and with DirectX you need to resave. *there is instruction online how to do it... I'll try to find the links for you later on..
  11. Hey Mate, I'm a bit lost now about what you liked to do... anyhow... you need a mesh and alter it, then separatelly need textures and alter them. with the help of ME3Explorer you can extract and replace the mesh and textures too. The texture will wrap around any mesh, but won't appear properly if it was not made for that particular mesh... You can use 3dsMax to alter the mesh and Photoshop for the textures... I guess the best if you start somewhere and take the questioning from there... good luck.
  12. Hey Galrun, very high aspiration indeed... I don't know so much, but this is from what I know: You could use 3dsMax trial version can get you 30 day access with every email address you login with. You could load up different meshes and combine them into one. Mesh editing is time consuming activity... Ottemis and GirlPlaysGame have tutorials, but You need to gather lot of knowhow for the end result. Mesh editing/modding is very time consuming... Good luck.
  13. Hey Adrian, Could You describe what is going on? TPF tools is simple apart from when it cannot find the textures in the tree... Thnx.
  14. one of the mods for Ashley.... the 'battlepack' or something like that is a DLC and has helmet for Liara...
  15. G'day, in my opinion... ...modding is very time consuming, also it needs to have personal motivation for, plus ME Andromeda will be released on the 21/23 of March... so I think you can only hope for good luck to actualise... especially because something like this would take a lot of effort, knowhow and time, plus the really great modders do not seem active anymore, so in my opinion such mods would have already been done if they had been possible. I think the best for you is to wait for the Andromeda and see what it offers...
  16. Hello Kallas, the .pcc is: BioD_CerMir_750Office & under HMF_HED_PROBase_MDL... Luckily both have the same number of 'bones', 42. I've tried it already and unfortunately there is a 'bones' conflict, it's being pulled out of place... You can give it a try anyway, see it yourself, just replace all LODs: LOD0,LOD1,LOD2 with enough to use LOD0 only... I've tried it with straight .psk and then .udk as well... in 3dsMax I've even swapped the bones... I looks possible just have to find out what to do about that glitch... Good luck. R.
  17. Good Idea! Two Mirandas instead of just One. Try Meshplorer, find the .pcc files and replace the head mesh... if you get lucky you might not even have to replace the textures... I'll have a look later on... it worth the look I reckon...
  18. Could you include a link here to that particular mod you're trying to make working?
  19. Hello Mate, for me not so easy to figure out what might be the problem... but: You could download an edited Coalesced.bin where all the casual appearance & special key commmands are unlocked and edited... Basically you need to add the same key commands to several places in: Bioinput.ini/sfxgame... for instance in .../sfxgamemodedefault Sorry this is all from me...
  20. Hey, the Coalesced.bin.original file appears automatically when you alter the Coalesced.bin file, and so that file is not a .bin file anymore because .original comes afterwards, so being disregarded by the game... R.
  21. No worries Mate, you're welcome and thanks too. I hope you feel well by now. Glad to hear it all worked out for You. I never had the chance to play with EGM.. but it sounds good. All the best.

  23. Hello Neem, Just download this one from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/407/? it explains what to do, but here it is: You just download it and unpacked (unzipped) downloaded file you just drag over into ModManager and it will do the rest for you. Then just 'Apply Mod'. Of course as You know the controller should be also installed in Windows, Win10 is easy. I think it should work just fine, because I use PS4 controller which requires additional tasks. Good luck. Let us know if you need more info.
