  1. well this is a single player game, and they already made smithing and other skills/spells overpowered. But those are some good ideas, im missing artefact bows too.
  2. I guess he meant repetition. If you're honest to yourself, the game is repeating itself. I might have put about 100 hours into the game but never actually finished the main quest because I had my fun on the way but got bored when running into yet another dungeon fighting yet another pack of Draugrs to get yet another package for someone. I put it aside when I looked at the map and had discovered most of it and thought about my options. Joining up with guilds, my character wouldn't like to get another set of quests that probably turned out to mean crawling into the same sort of dungeone some more? As has been said. The game is worth it's money, but it lacks that certain something to keep me going. Now I'm waiting if the modding community can unveil some potential I'm not aware of. Ofcourse a game can always be better, but what some people is asking for is limitless variations of quests. Even 60 hours of gameplay is from somebody that have so many bad things to say about the game is great. I feel sorry for bethesda, its like giving somebody a car for birthday present and they are not happy because the car didnt come with a caravan.
  3. You could make a new character, every dungeon is a new experience with a different character. I agree with you there, its too easy to become the leader in any of the guild. I made arch-mage at level 12 just because i wanted the robe on my 3rd character. That is up to you, i have played jack of all trades, pure bow, pure mage and pure sword and shield. You just have to be patient as a pure melee character, or get dragonrend. Why would a dragon land? You cleared all the dungeons, did all the quests and discovered the whole map in 60 hours? Wow, i got around 160-200 and i have soooo much left to do.
  4. My mage is level 35 now and illusion is not a waste. I play on master without a companion, enchanting or alchemy. My main perks are in destruction and illusion. Its great fun and you can run around invisible all the time and you only have to fight one opponent at once. You can also calm the enemy to regain mana really fast. But I guess playing a mage gets really hard at 40+.
  5. play the combination that seems most fun for you at the moment. You can just start a new game later. There is plenty of stuff to do so you dont have to replay much. :-)
  6. I play on master without a companion. I took up illusion around lvl 10, i just wanted the invisible spell. I had around 40-50 in conjuration and destruction, now i have 100 illusion and 50-60 in conjuration and destruction, thats how fun and effective illusion is. I am now around lvl 25 and i have no problem killing dragons or other "bosses", storm atronach for mages and frost for others while i nuke away seems to do the trick. You need mana potions or Highborn as an high elf for those long fights. Also be careful with undead and dwemer ruins until you reach 90 to get Master of the mind.
  7. Care to clarify? I mean, besides my not removing all those dragons that tend to take the realism out of the game.... :whistling: Thats the thing, this is a fantasy game so where do you draw the line? I have nothing against setting up your own rules in a game, that is great i do it myself. The thing is i cant see why all these rules are more realistic than playing without them. It is hard for me to see how being able to cast spells, taking multiple arrows to the head is more realistic than running around in heavy armor or be able to carry around 2 sword and a mace.
  8. What is your goal with these rules? If you are trying to make the game more realistic you are failing
