It's mostly an issue of self-control, but if things look bad / enemies are way too strong, it's tempting to turn down the difficulty for just a bit to get by. I'd be interested in a mod that has a "difficulty select" screen whenever starting a new game, so a difficulty is set from the very beginning, and it cannot be changed on that save file. Is there such a mod already?

Instead of simply having your objective marked for you on the map and your hand held the whole way, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that you can ask NPCs directions towards places relevant to your current quests, but they would only give you a general area / direction to help you out; you'd still have to find the exact location yourself. And not everyone would know where every place is, like a housewife may not know many locations, but her adventurer husband would know more. It would just be a way to shake things up a bit and add experience to the game, instead of just constantly following a marker that points exactly where you need to go every time.

Will graphics mods get better as better GPUs come out?

Well there was that guy with the 100 mods who only got 5 FPS on a GTX 670 (I think), so I guess it would just be a matter of getting hardware strong enough to make that playable. That grass looked epic though :3 -
It doesn't seem like such a far-fetched idea, so it's probably been done, but what I'm talking about is a mod that adds secondary armor, which is simply armor that visibly replaces normal armor; it doesn't apply any enchantments or armor boosts though. So you can have a full set of daedric armor equipped, enchantments and all, but your character will have the secondary armor pieces showing up instead of the primary ones. The other idea is being able to make armors pieces invisible, similar to how you can toggle the visibility of armor pieces in Warcraft; plain and simple. Are there any mods related to these ideas that you know of?

Rather than simply removing mana costs, the idea would be to make magic something that you are free to use and fight / support with, without being fettered by a mana bar; the kind of thing that Fable 2 aimed for. Warrior, Ranger, or Mage, you'd always be able to use your weapons and not have to pop potions or switch weapons while mana recovers. Magic might initially be too strong though if you could endlessly cast flames at the start, so I'd think that spell effects would have to be toned downed across the board, although through perks, schools of magic could be made stronger so that magic has more oomph coming from a mage, instead of just anyone that uses it. Would also need to have higher level spells off-limits until a certain level, like Oblivion, so that they couldn't be spammed by low levels. Was just an unusual idea that came to me after thinking about Fable 2.

I've tried Pinnacle game profiler, but all the profiles aren't quite right and you cannot move in any direction (only multiples of 45 degrees, essentially, nothing in between). Try to move at a 30 degree angle, but it will keep going straight until you push to the right enough to go 45 degrees. Is there any way to change a profile to make moving less rigid and more smooth like on console? I've played the game on Xbox or 4 years, and I'd rather not change to keyboard and mouse. If Pinnacle cannot be made to work better, are there any other programs that can do the job properly (preferably with controls that are all the same as on console)?

Instead of rain just falling through everything, is it possible to actually just have it collect on the ground where appropriate (indents in stone pathways), or have it drip from the roofs of houses?

I 2nd this request. It doesn't seem like there's much furry sorta stuff in Skyrim. Some My Little Pony stuff, yes, but nothing furry. A Renamon race would be a nice start, but I don't know if many modders are into that type of thing.

Kind of a nitpicky thing, but if your character dies, people still try to talk to you and act like everything's normal. Are there any mods that fix that?

When enemies attack with melee weapons they're able to keep attacking in between attacking motions, resulting in hitting 10 or more times in a few motions; it's almost a dead sentence standing close to any enemy for more than a second, and warriors aren't playable with enemies like that. Any chance that someone else has had the same problem or know what mods might be causing it? I can't seem to pinpoint which one is causing the problem.

Just an idea to add a bit of difficulty / realism, although there probably is a mod for it. Basically, the world keeps on going when you do things that would normally pause it, like opening the menu. No more pausing before a dragon eats your face off so that you can chug half a dozen health potions while the whole world stops around you. Things like Lockpicking or Pickpocketing would have to be done fast, before anyone sees what you're up to.

I've seen mods that make your character look like Lightning from Final Fantasy, or like characters from anime. Is there a guide to making character models like that? Do they have to be made from scratch or can you import the character models from somewhere else? (I know nothing of 3d modeling >_<)

As in, can your character be made to act like other AI / NPCs with AI packages?

How about making poison do more damage if you can pickpocket it onto someone? Maybe like 5x or 10x stronger for generic poisons, and maybe a bit smaller for self-made poisons.

In my opinion, skeletons with glowing eyes are lame. I think Oblivion had it right with the skeletons just having black eye sockets; that was more creepy.

LE Boost the effects of magic at higher levels

Sorta. It certainly does help with destruction and a few other skills, although not much for Restoration. I'm still using it tho, so thanks ^^ -
What I mean is that the Adept, Expert, and Master perks for a school of magic should give a little boost to spells (effect and duration). Maybe like 10%, 20%, 35% respectively. I think there is already a mod that makes destruction spells stronger at Expert and Master perks, but I don't think there are any mods that change other schools of magic.

Wards seem pretty weak atm and they are pretty easy to break, even at the highest level. It would be cool if they could get buffed a bit; maybe add a "+25% ward protection" to the Ward Absorb perk, or something. I'm not completely sure about this, but it seems like dual-casting a ward doesn't make it stronger, and if so, it should be fixed to have a greater effect like other spells do when dual-casting.

Not sure if it's been posted, but there should be a shield effect for potions like in Oblivion.

A mod to give more control of NPCs. As in, when you use the "tc" command to switch controls to an NPC, you get full control like you would have with your character.

It's a real hassle to scroll through 50 poisons to get to some healing potions. Could a separate list be made for poisons?

How about making it so that you can always see the health bar of people when you are looking at them? Maybe have it green for friendlies and red for enemies.

When you use the "tc" command to switch your perspective to another character, you can't really do anything except walk and jump. How about changing it so that you can do anything you could normally do with your character, except as another character?
