Servus  once more I decided to play Skyrim again but already got pretty annoyed and tired with the way Skyrim handles the combat so I was wondering if there's something out there which could fill my wishes. For example: I ran into a npc with a bow. While he reloaded an arrow and was aiming at me, I charged with a two handed axe in hand forward and hit him with a fully charged powerattack which should have chopped his arms and half his body of, but instead he kept standing, kept aiming and shot the arrow which killed me. No I'm not looking for chopping body parts, but still this was so bad that I don't even know where to begin with. Second example: I charged at an npc, hit him with a powerattack which staggered him quite a bit. Since he was only half down, I used another powerattack which hit him too tho he didn't stagger, didn't react to it at all and just executed an attack himself which killed me. I get it that this should prevent a "permanent stun" of the npc, but comon! Would prefer that a powerattack costs 100% of the (max) stamina you have to not abuse this. And third, animals! Listen, I get that a Sabertooth is a big strong fearsome roaring predator, but if he/she/it does a single paw attack which didn't even fully hit you and completely kills you... cause bleeding yes, cause stagger yes, cause your stamina to drain yes, but killing you instantly? Hell no! On the other side wolves... how comes that a pack of wolves charge at me from every side, biting me 10+ times but deal nearly no damage? Okay sorry for letting my anger a bit out here and writing so much, but in the end I'm looking for a combat mod which really would make combat great again (sorry), which really would make combat way more realistic (if I hit enemies or enemies hit me - both ways ofc!) Edit: Something I forgot: Would be also cool if there would a way to dodge incoming attacks (like by pressing W A S D twice fast) at the cost of stamina and also being simulated for the npcs Greetings - AlphaWurmi

Hacking strange or am I just stupid?
AlphaWurmi replied to AlphaWurmi's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
That's actually funny, because I re-watched my Fallout 4 screenshots like a minute ago including this one I uploaded here, and noticed this within ~10 seconds before reading your solution. Wondering how I came on the trip that it has to be "C", "U", and "E", because it doesn't <-- ah guess it's time to blame myself and not Bethesda, sorry for that! Also seriously? I mean this is one hell of a tip - I didn't know that one o_OHow did he/she found this one out? Was it explained even in the game? D'oh, I feel like I should have payed more attention to the game; won't happen again! -
Hacking strange or am I just stupid?
AlphaWurmi replied to AlphaWurmi's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
So you're telling me that Bethesda f**ked something up here too? Well I thought about this too, but meh thought I'm doing something wrong Thanks for the reply :) -
Aloha, so I came across a certain terminal and wanted to hack it. I mean I know that I can skip it easily, but since I just want to understand it, I'm asking you guys. Word 1: D R A G O N S - 0 matches Word 2: C R U S H E D - 3 matches (small question: Does this mean, the 3 matches must be at the same "spot" of the code-word, or at a random place?) Word 3: C O U N T E R - 3 matches (again 3 matches, so I thought that the code-word must contain a "C", "U" and "E") And there is the problem, I searched for like minutes and I don't find it, so my thoughts I'm simply blind or I don't understand hacking, which is why I'm looking forward for some help! Edit: I had to decrease the quality of the image to get the size of 250KB, hope it's still fine! Greetings - AlphaWurmi

The Falkreath courier that appears at level 9 - Question
AlphaWurmi replied to StoneHobbit2's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well in case he wont disappear at all (I had this bug once), you open up the console with "^", click on the courier to get the id and close console again. Afterwards travel to some point far far away, open up console and type "moveto player" and problem was solved at least for me. -
Enchanting Resistances: How is it calculated? [SkyRe]
AlphaWurmi replied to AlphaWurmi's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Okay at the end we got "15*2/3*[1+(81/100)*(81/100-0.14)/3.4]*(1+0.75)*(1+0.5)*0.8", which is a bit disappointing ~24. Now I just thought about it, lets say I use a Grand Soul Stone and get my Enchantment to 120, so I can get rid of the 20% penalty, would this mean I have an end-result of: 15*1*[1+(120/100)*(120/100-0.14)/3.4]*(1+0.75)*(1+0.5)*1 = ~54?! I mean this would be like  -
Greetings everyone, I have a little problem with enchanting resistances. The basics: I have the perk “Enchanter [5/5] which makes the enchantments 75% stronger”. Also I have “Defensive Enchanter [2/2] – Which makes defensive enchantments 50% stronger (SkyRe Guide, Point 3.19 Page 73 says this perk includes resistances)”. At last I have “Extra Effect [2/3] – Allows a second enchant, but the enchantments are 20% weaker”. Now to the test: I disenchant a pair of boots with 40% frost resistance, which provides me an enchantment of +15% (At this case, is this actually worthy? I mean from 40% to 15%? Sounds like a total waste if you ask me) Anyway, by selecting the enchant, I see it would actually give me a total of +24% resistances, which is hard to believe for me, because however I calculate this, I won’t get this result. 1) 15% > 75% stronger = 26%[26.25%] > 50% stronger = 39%[39.375%] > 20% weaker = 33%[32.5%/32.8125%] 2) 75% + 50% - 20% would be a total bonus of additional 105%. 15% > 105% stronger = 31%[30.75%] 3) 15% > 75% stronger = 26%[26.25%]; 15% > 50% stronger = 23%[22.5%] > 26%+23%=49% > 20% weaker = 41%[40.8333%] Numbers inside [ ] are "actual" values, since I don't know how Skyrim rounds numbers. So I even did some further calculations, never getting the end result of 24%, so I'm wondering how the hell is this calculated. Two more things: I just wanted to ask first how it's actually done, before I scream out "bug" and second I hope it's okay when I post it here because I found out in the SkyRe and both Patch threats is more or less rarely a question answered as I saw. Hope someone can help me with this a little, because I'm just confused  Greetings - Chris

Oh well, I reinstalled my ENB this morning and forgot to set my FPS limit back to 60. Since my hardware runs Skyrim easily on over 200 fps without sync, which at least fixed the flying items.. will see about the rest o_O

Hello everyone out there, I have some problems mainly since today, which just grow over my head. At first it was no big deal for me, but when I crouched around, I sometimes heard the sound of like splashing water, or moving in shallow water. Then further I even started to hear it when walking all walls, climbing up roofs and such things. As a next problem I saw some enemies slightly glitching through walls, which is actually rarely. Afterwards, even some Draugrs started to hover through the room they woke up from their coffins like crazy, stopping on a random point inside the same room. Happened like every 5th or 6th Draugr, which was "meh but fine" for me too. The mess went bit annoying, because when I opened like every second door, by character starts to hovering and gets slightly moved to a new location, like literally inside the door I just opened. To put the crown on top, when I entered "Bites and Pieces" (the little shop in Solitude) today and went into the side-room on the right, all items inside started to bounce like crazy from tables and shelves... uncontrollable items flew around, bouncing of each other, the floor and walls. I tested it in other shops too, always the same when I enter a side-room of the shop and to be honest, it's just dumb now -_- I already checked "Loot" (The "Boss" website told me to use Loot for Skyrim) to maybe find a problem or two, but nothing. Afterwards I tried "Save Game Script Cleaner", tho it said nothing to clean whatsoever and I even tried to use older save games, but it always went the same after some time, which is the point I don't know what to do and hope you can help me with this silly stuff =) My mod list (including normal ENB): http://i.imgur.com/yzQwgV3.png My mod load order list: http://i.imgur.com/JJ3b7tk.png If you need further informations, well just ask and I'll answer as soon as I can Edit: For me it's getting less understandable now. I thought about trying to record these problems with Fraps (at least the "items fly around like crazy" is actually even funny), but while recording, I never had any of these problems mentioned above anymore. But when I turned off Fraps again, instantly afterwards when I tried to open a door or something, all these problems started again, so what the f**k is going on, I mean seriously! Thanks a lot - Chris

Don't worry it's getting more strange now! I used this Skyrim Performance Monitor as you suggested. I started Skyrim without SKSE over this program and even if this program didn't show me any data nor gave me some log, the delay was gone! (Which I tested for ~3 hours, not one delay). So I stated Skyrim with SKSE over this problem and still no delay. I made a new save and now I can start Skyrim with SKSE from NMM again without having any delay problem. So at the end, even if I can't explain why and how, I can play Skyrim with all HD Mods I had completely delay-less, which is all what matters! Well at the end I just can say thank you guys for all the help! Best regards - AlphaWurmi

So the last update is this, I went into reinstall my Windows completely, therefor also Steam and Skyrim. This time I put Skyrim on my SSD and played my savegame without any mod. After like an hour the delay issues came back. I thought that my savegame is corrupted for some reason, so I started a new character but after some time I went into the same problem. All in all my hardware is more than just enough for this game and I still run into these problems when having a fresh installed Windows/Steam/Skyrim, so I guess I just have to deal with it! ~ Peace ~ - AlphaWurmi

Alright, thanks for the good tips! At the end it seems to be that disabling the HD textures nearly fixed it. When using the workbench, some objects have like a second delay before the picture is showing, but afterwards everything else comes smoothly. At the end you say it's a problem of my hard drive? Wondering since actually this one isn't slow at all and the rest of my hardware should handle this game more than easily :o. If that's the real problem, I can put Skyrim on my SSD drive, hoping Skyrim can handle SSDs for good! The only thing with isn't fixed so far, is this delay arrows get shooting.

Are you serious? It's a simple image upload site which I use for years without any problems and when I see the daily upload rate, I doubt people would use it when it's full of Malwar! Anyway don't worry, it wasn't my purpose to fill you guys with Malewar so here we go: http://imageshack.com/a/img661/1996/TRWXlD.jpg Best regards - AlphaWurmi

I was about to recommend the "Skyrim savegame script cleaner" You might wanna check this one out, it helped me with a lot of problems too. (BUT watch the Youtube video for it first before everything goes even more mad)

Hello everyone, I have some issues with my Skyrim, but for now there are only three important. For example when I want to use my bow and shoot an arrow, it happens that the shot is made, nearby enemies detect me but the arrow itself flies with a delay of like 3 - 5 seconds. The second problem is about the display of items. When I navigate through a chest or wanna build things for my house, I select an item but the picture of it appears delayed. Sometimes its even a ~10 seconds delay, before the item picture shows up. In case of building things, the built object even spawns with a huge delay. The third problem is a delay with acting in general, like talking to a person. When I wanna talk with an NPC and select a speech I can choose, it sometimes take up to ~5 seconds before the NPC actually response to it. All three problems appear like randomly without any specific reason for me! I'll add a picture of my active mods (and I use the latest ENB Version). Tho I already tried to disable all of them one after another, even used this "Skyrim savegame script cleaner" but still I can't get rid of these problems. Also I read, these things can be caused by missing vsync, so I use "D3DOverrider" to add vsync with a triple buffer, but no effect. So I hope one of you might have an idea what to do, because these two problems are hell annoying. http://s14.directupload.net/images/141027/temp/ttb8kjro.jpg Best regards - AlphaWurmi
