  1. i have OFTEN wondered what it would be like to dual wield two shields in any game... Make my dreams come true!
  2. Thanks for the reply. I took a quick look at the Saber mod, and its not quite what I had in mind. I wasnt looking for an actual looking dress, but rather a plate/scale/lamellar/etc armor that was arranged in a way to look like a dress. Something metal and shiny that comes down past knees or closer to the ground. Im playing a female warrior type character, and Im used to my female characters wearing long dresses/skirts/kilts and would love to see a metal dress in action!
  3. Also looking for heavy armor leg pieces that visibly resemble (steel/iron/dwarven/ebony etc.) skirts or long dresses. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know! This forum does a great job with mods, I just wish I had the time and capability to learn to make my own.
  4. Been poking around looking for something that would decorate my character up a bit more. Ever since my WoW days, Ive been rolling characters that have a very heavy set of armor on. And back shields and flashy swords along with thick breastplates and resplendant shoulder pads have been my interest. I am DYING to seem some good quality pieces that fit on the shoulders. Does anything like this exist? They dont even have to provide any stats, I just want something to match my Sleep Steel Replacer.
  5. Great Find. I use "Actual Multiple Monitors" and it causes the same problem as UltraMon. If you add a exclusion for The Creation Kit window under window settings it fixes the issue. Thanks for discovering and posting this Thanks for this, Confirmed with Actual Multiple Monitors. Just go under Window Settings, Click Add Exclusion, type in Creation Kit under the name, then browse for the .exe file under your Skyrim folder. Blamo, done. Cheerio
  6. As the title reads, it can probably be assumed that organization and placement for your mods can get confusing. This has happened to me, in that, downloading a mod that may or may not conflict with my current mods. I have many many many plugins and mods that enhance my game play to a comfortable level (vanilla is just to boring for my taste, so I amp it up for some flavor!) With and without the Nexus Mod Manager, (particularly for mods that dont support usage with NMM) what are some ways you guys keep your mods decipherable and clean from other mods when they are sitting in your Data folder?
  7. This is totally clever and classy, I agree!
  8. I would just like to see a medium sized light brown backpack strapped to my toon's back in place of quivers. Equipped with two shoulder straps, maybe some leather strips hanging from the back to display latches on the pack. Any weapons that would be placed on the back (like say Dwarven Greatsword for ex.) would be set between the character and the backpack, gives it a real adventure feel to it I would think. Also, there have been billions and gajillions of requests for Shields to be set to the back instead of the default left (or is it right?). My video game experience grew up with World of Warcraft, and as a veteran tank, I would DIE to see my shield hooked to my back. I may as well through in my last request here, I would love to see a second sheath for Dual-wields on the opposing hip. Another idea is in place of the backpack, place the shield on the back (not necessary for this request), and then have one (or two) weapon 1-Hand weapons sheathed on the back. For aesthetics, lets say two weapons, sheathed between a shield and the character. And of course, the weapon sheaths should remain in their place even after the weapon is drawn. Pretty high demand, but Im no good at modding :(
  9. Requesting mod that allows quest item gear to be DE'd (particularly shrouded and thieves armor). Would LOVE to have multple times sneak damage with some legitamcy without cheat codes. Mods seem more appropriate for this.
  10. Im looking to see if there is (or can be) a mod that replaces the ugly texture of the coal that I spent much time staring at. The default kindve ruins that game for me, since I dont normally spend my hours playing SKyrim in 1st person.
  11. Seconded. I like horses, but my character is specced into archery and sneaking. This is a pain to dismount to fight.
  12. I would agree to this. Dragonscale looks like Skeleton vomit, and Nightingale much better matches my thievary based character. Or at least change the Dragonscale textures/meshes to something less ugly.
  13. As thoroughly thought through as this is, I just would enjoy seeing a mod where random events start occuring when the PC shows up in a zone. A vengeful flash mob in Whiterun? Ill just sit back and watch the massacre happen! That would be awesome! It would make the world feel like it wasnt there just for the player.
  14. 4th'd Im a bit used to WoW where weapons get slung to your back, and dual weilding weapons were latched to the opposing hip sides. But of course, Bethesda probably doesnt want to compete with SUCH a good game like WoW (wink wink)
  15. Bumping First thread in a LONG time that I found almost off the bat that got right to the question and then right to the solution. Had the same problem, glad some one knows how to fix it. Thanks for your service!
