I recommend you go with Bosmer, it looks to me like you have the beginnings of a Barbarian there? Not a "Rawr! I smash!" barbarian, but a character that doesn't live in 'civilised' society. Does that even make sense?

I am playing a Paladin now, and in another thread I have a similar discussion. Eventually I chose to do the quest, after all, the enemy of my enemy, right? This has given rise to an interesting dichotomy, of a questing Paladin who helped a Daedric prince. Even more interesting is that the said Paladin is considering helping Azura who isn't that evil either right? But where then does one draw the line. The greatest struggle this Paladin is having is finding an answer to the question: "Who decides what's evil? Myself, or something beyond me?" If the answer is 'myself', then inherently the choices I make and sides I chose will be flawed and sunject to my bias, but even worse, can something beyond me, a moral code constructed out of context of this event or this time of crisis, really be used to fashion the belief of one such as I? But....thats a discussion for an entirely different thread! Tl:dr - It certainly adds an interesting twist to the game!

I'm having an easier time with this Paladin! Level 25 and still going. My brother in law has the OCD issue, but I now organise a SkyRum day (yes, indeed) every two weeks or so. We swap mods, talk about places or experiences and just play Skyrim (while sipping Rum of course) for the whole day. It certainly makes for a more interesting playthrough!

I love this thread, it has really inspired me to roll a new ranger and slap on that hunter and realistic needs mods! Keep the inspiration coming! There goes my lvl 25 Pally now... Also: I'm on the fence regarding essential followers. For me, knowing a follower cannot die makes me a little...callous? If I have to worry that they aren't going to make it, I'll take better care of them won't I? Until a giant flying lizard lands on them to spite me, or a vampire chews their face off. It's going to be a Ranger type character with that Huntng mod that has been mentioned, Realistic Needs and survival effects. Lets say It'll be on Adept or Expert. Am I just making my life too difficult with non-essential characters?

I must say, you have given me some glorious food for thought here. I'm put in the mind of Bruce Banner vs. The Hulk in this conversation. Although The Hulk is by far my least favourite Marvel character, and I understand him the least, it would seem to me he is inherently a good guy trying to hold all this bad in check. And even when the 'bad' comes out, he seems to try to guide the wanton destruction that Hulk is capable of into doing more good than harm. This is not a Hulk discussion of course, but I'm trying to frame my thinking within a relative concept. So, sure, I agree with you, Diamond would never, in a million years CHOOSE to become a werewolf. In fact, considering the typical Paladin's aversion to all things 'not good' he would actually be forced to slay each Companion or die trying. But that raises the issue of wanton slaughter being preferable to allowing a form of beast to exist that has an honourable code. It's actually quite a complex moral issue if you choose to look at it more deeply than 'It's not human, kill it." I like the point of view that Paladin's are humans (or elves, or orcs, or whatever), and not cookie-cut moral textbooks of right and wrong. Imagine for a second how it would feel to realise you have joined a brotherhood of people that seem to hold your values of honour and brotherhood, and then see one of them change into a beast? Instantly you have a conflict of interests (and as a RP and actor I will always say conflict = interesting). This is the same man who just had make a decision whether or not to assist Meridia.. And even now, Diamond is struggling with that decision. It haunts him every time he draws his sword or see's a Vigilant of Stendarr approaching on the road. But he has to live with it now, and that will influence his future choices. So, no, I still agree that with full prior knowledge, there is no way a Lawful Good would choose to lose control as you have said. If it was forced on him, that would be a different story. I've downloaded the mod you recommended riverbanks, thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely try it.

How long does it take for NPCs to respawn after death?
DiamondLlama replied to Simniac's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Dungeons and areas that are not flagged as "Never Resets" will respawn either every 10 or 30 days. This means that enemy characters will respawn, as will plants, loot and ore (mostly). But 'named' characters do not respawn. Sorry  Of course, you could just say to yourself: "Well, Skyrim is a tough place and people die," and that will give you a reason to play through again with another character. Or you can reload a save. :) -
Hi, I'm Diamond and I have a short character attention span. Personally I have 4 characters, 288 hours, and not higher than a level 10 character. Every time a new soul is put into the fires of the intro sequence I swear "This is the one!", and a few hours later Im bored with the concept. I tend towards a Paladin playstyle but Ive played the first 4 hours of this game so much I cant get beyond them. I love this game I just cant enjoy it anymore :( I've got a Wood Elf ranger now at level 20. She hasn't exactly accomolished much though, and Im considering a new Paladin (This will be my third) Just thinking about it makes my head hurt. Surely Im not the only one? How do you get over that hump?
