  1. If your GPU is working ~90% then it's probable that your GPU won't let you have more FPS without reducing the quality of the game even more. (It may not be running 100% because of the Vsync the game uses) Using less cores will probably just give you less FPS by bottlenecking your GPU.
  2. When a mod adds a weapon via a non scripted leveled list, it'll replace the default leveled list by it's own one, which is the default one plus the item added, it's easier to do but the drawback is that it is not compatible with other mods that alter the leveled list, since they'll replace the first mod's list by their own default list plus the item added. A scripted leveled list uses a script that ADDS the item to the already existing list, meaning tat it'll be compatible with other scripted mods.
  3. I'm guessing you mean F4SE, since SKSE will in fact probably crash if you try to use it with Fallout 4  Try deleting every file from F4SE and reinstalling it.
  4. Alright, I got it, the problem was the mod Survival options (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14650/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D14650%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D4480105&pUp=1). It uses a .ini to keep a record of the settings it's using, problem is, the ini of the mod contains EVERY VARIABLE FROM ANY FALLOUT 4 INI EVER !! It contains 2224 lines of variables, most of them having the default value, making editing other .ini completely useless, since the mod is loaded after all this.
  5. It also depends on the number of cores, performance per core etc etc, it's pretty complex, the number of cores is indicated by the x2 / x4 / x6 in the name of teh CPU, x4 means 4 cores, for an Intel CPU, 4 cores would be good for F4, i'm not used to AMD CPU's but they tend to have less performance per core so 6/8 would be the equivalent. Try to install MSI afterburner and check with it if any of your GPU or CPU runs a 100%, bottlenecking teh rest of your system, there's plenty of tutorials on how to setup this software to show you what you want. And I guess you gave me the total available video memory for your GPU, meaning that it would i guess be a 4GB GPU, so a middle range GPU (I don't know the specific model so i'm not sure), knowing how F4 is really badly optimised, it may just happen that your GPU struggles to keep a stable framerate in this game.
  6. This mod won't help you I think, again, textures don't really change performances except for some minor micro stutters. So, I still don't know what GPU you have but if the 12255 GB represents your VRAM (GPU memory that stocks textures etc etc) then it's a reaaaaaally high end one and you should have no problem getting at least 100FPS everywhere on full ultra. Graphical drivers up do date ? If not, you might want to try updating them.
  7. You can know which GPU you have by right clicking on your desktop / display settings / advanced display settings / show properties of the adapter (My windows in french so the names may not be exactly the same), it'll be listed on top of the window. As for the CPU, go to your control panel / system and security / system and it'll be the first element listed under the System category.
  8. Either it is the Ehanced blood textures that are glitching out on the dead body, or it's Bodyslide (I don't know if it adds textures to the game or not), just try to disable one, then the other, if it's still glitched, try disabling all your mods and check again, if it's STILL glitching out, check if you don't have any loose file in your Data folder that could ovverwrite the textures of the male body.
  9. Textures don't usually reduce FPS, they'll eat up more VRAM so you may have a micro stutter when loading a cell because you VRAM is full and the game takes longer to load but that's it. It would be useful if you could tell us which GPU / CPU / RAM you're running, lowering the graphics won't help a lot if it's your CPU struggling. Fallout seems to have troubles with 60 FPS, it'll struggle to reach it on my GTX 760 when I drop the quality A LOT, but it'll still be able to reach an easy 30 FPS when I max out almost everything, I ended up locking it to 30 FPS. You might want to try using MSI Afterburner to check on your GPU / CPU usage, if one of them is running 100%, then that's what's bottlenecking you. The Cambridge police station is also on of the WORST place in the game in terms of performance. I don't know why but when near it, my framerate will drop to the mid 20's, even with all graphics settings lowered and with a GPU and CPU usage below 40%, it makes no sense. I know you've said you tried lowering the graphics, but did you reduce the godrays quality and shadow distance to the minimum ? These two options are absolute monsters in terms of performance and they'll destroy your framerate, especially shadow distance when near the Cambridge poilice station. You won't be able to have a 50-60 FPS in sanctuary AND at the police station, this place is so bad that if your average framerate at sanctuary is not a locked 60 FPS with a GPU usage under 75%, you will experience drop in framerate. So as I said you may want to try lowering the godrays to low (They'll be pixelated but if it works there are fixes for that), or even try to disable them alltogether by opening the console (~) and typing in "gr off". There's not much more I can help you with without knowing your specs.
  10. Hello, I've been trying to tweak the ini files of Fallout 4 for days and I don't understand why NONE of the changes I apply have any effects, I've tried adding "sStartingConsoleCommand=bat scommand" under [General] in the fallout4.ini file to run a command at the start of the game, it doesn't work, even though I can just type bat scommand in the console once the galme has started and it'll work. I've also tried to add "bUseDialogueCursor=0" under [Dialogue] to disable the cursor when a dialogue box appears (it lets me move the camera freely), it doesn't work either. I've tried to change the value of something that was present in ALL the ini files so that the default value of this variable didn't exist anymore AT ALL in the game's files, the game STILL used the default values, and I don't know how on Earth this is possible. I've been using some tweaks to improve the performence of the game without checking if there was any framerate difference but my guess is that it simply didn't work either. I'm completly lost and I don't know what I've been doing wrong, I 've already tweaked the .ini's of this game and other Bethesda games so I'm used to doing this kind of stuff, I've tried setting the files to read only, changin the synthax of some commands (sStartingConsoleCommand=bat scommand --> sStartingConsoleCommand="bat scommand" for exemple), writing the changes in the fallout4custom.ini file, sacrificing a goat, none of that has worked. I'm playing survival and using F4 Script Extender if that can help anyone figure something. Here's my mods load order if you want to check it: Hoping one of you guys will be able to help me :|
