There in a mod called Settlement Menu Manager located in the Miscellaneous section. I will repair the menu.
-
Yeah, I tried out sinking the ground and was able to go quite deep. I'm not too worried about Navesh as a pool will be built in the hole. The floor tiles and pool tiles are all NavMeshed as needed so I don't think this will cause a problem.

I do use the landscaping editor in the Creation Kit, mostly I use it to flatten ground in settlements. I am not knowledgeable enough to use it to remove ground.
-
If I wanted to build an in-ground pool, what are the steps I would have to follow to delete the ground in the area I want the pool ? I have seen mods which have in-ground pools in them so I know it can be done. I just can't figure out how !

Changing Volume in Skyrim SE Thru the Keyboard
junglerat70 replied to junglerat70's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
An easy way to change the volume is to press the Shift + Tab keys, entering the Steam over lay. Adjust the volume to where you want it and press the Shift + Tab keys to exit the over lay. -
I am having the same problem, and it is NOT the ini files. SkyrimPrefs reads : bBoarderless=0, bFull Screen=1 , and the iSize H and iSize W both have the correct screen size in them. I have not installed the AE update and have no plans to do so. This problem just suddenly started when I attempted to start a new game. No idea what is going on or how to fix it. Personally, I think it is a ploy initiated by either Steam or Bethesda to force people to upgrade to AE.

I use NMM as my mod manager, and I have several mods installed. I do not have a problem with playing Skyrim SE. I tried Vortex once and found it not to my liking so I went back to NMM.

Sometimes I feel like people just don't understand what is going on. You only have one hard drive, right ? Then you cannot choose where to install the game. Steam will download the game files and create two install folders. One folder is located in the Program Files x86/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition. The other folder is found in your Documents folder and is named Skyrim..... I would suggest that you completely delete all items from your previous installs. Every file you got from Steam, your SKSE files, everything. Then go into Steam and re-download the game. Let steam install it where it wants. Once done you can either press the play button in steam to try it out, or you can exit steam and play it through your folder. Do not be concerned when Steam tells you that it cannot find your video card, just go into settings and set the video settings to what ever you want. If you still have serious problems playing the game, then I would suggest the the problem might be your hard drive failing. Be aware that if SKSE has NOT been updated for the new game update, then you cannot use SKSE in your download. This also may be what is causing your problems. You will also have to make sure that any mods you download have been updated to work with the new game update. I am not sure, but I don't think that many of the mods have been updated as they are waiting for SKSE to be updated.

If anyone is experiencing the problem of not being able to adjust the volume through the keyboard while playing Skyrim SE then this post is for you. While in game, press the shift & tab keys together. This will bring up the Steam overlay. While in the overlay you can adjust the volume to whatever you want. After setting the volume just press the shift and tab keys again to exit the overlay. This works regardless of how you start your game; thru steam, with script extender, or thru your mod manager.

First let me say that I did NOT update my game to the new Bethesda update. This is a new problem which has only just started on this play thru. The Thieves Guild quest TGTQ03 - Imitation Amnesty will not start. I have completed the required 5 Radiant Shell quests for Whiterun. When I speak to Deven, I press the E key to initiate the dialog and Deven starts his spiel about having a special request. Meanwhile, my message to press E to speak to Deven has not gone away and I do not have the normal dialog box (where you make your choice of what to say). Deven will complete his spiel but the quest will not register in the quest to-do list. If I stand around long enough, Deven will restart his spiel again without prompting. This is the last quest I have to do to complete the Thieves Guild storyline. I have tried to use the setstage command but it does not do anything at all. I have tried stage 0 to start the quest, stage 5 to initiate dialog with Olfrid, and stage 200 to complete the quest. None of these commands have any effect at all. I am at a loss of what to do. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have an issue where I am unable to adjust the volume while playing Skyrim SE. I do not have this problem with any of my other games, including those I play thru Bethesda Net. Every game I have, I can adjust the game volume with my keyboard while playing the game. With Skyrim, I have to adjust the volume before I start the game, in-game adjustments for Skyrim do not work. Any idea of what is causing this ?

I am playing Skyrim Special Edition. While playing the game, I am unable to adjust the volume with my keyboard. I have to set the volume to the level I want it before I start the game. I am able to adjust the volume with my keyboard while playing any of my other games, including Bethesda Net games. This is only a problem with Skyrim.

Does anyone know where the radio music files are stored in the new FO4 update ? They used to be found at "C:/programfiles (x86)/steam/ steamapps/common/fallout4/data/sound/fx/ In my directory (as above) after fx I have fadingsignal/camping gear and wpn That is all. There is no mus/radio entries. The fadingsignal and wpn folders relate to two mods I have installed.. So, where is the fx/mus/radio ???????????

I have noticed that when installing CBBE, it ask you if you want nude or not. If you choose nude, the women are all nude all the time, and if you choose non-nude then the women all have underwear that you can't remove. It is possible that, if you choose non-nude then the underwear is trying to bleed through.

Not sure this is the right place for this, but ..... When I go into FO4 Editor, it starts loading the game and all mods. Then it stops with the following error message: Fatal: <Excecption: "ASCOPiper05.esp" requires master "HairVariations_Conversions.esp" to be loaded before it.> Nexus Load order has Hair Variations_Conversions at number 07 and ASCOPiper05 at number 13. The load order in the game start-up screen has the Hair Variations before the ASCOPiper. So, if both the load order lists show the Hair Variations as being before the Piper05, then what is FO4E talking about ? What can I do to get FO4E to recognize that the load order is correct ? On the list of mods that FO4E shows at start-up, the hair variations is listed way below Piper05, but I do not know if this is showing the load order or not, and I do not know how to change it in FO4E's list.

Bug List - If you find bugs post them here
junglerat70 replied to Grasmann's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I am having a problem completing the Emogene's Lover/Find Emogene Quest. I go to the preacher that Emogene left Good Neighbor with, talk to him, and he agrees to release Emogene to me. I follow him to the room she is locked in, wait til he unlocks the door and leaves, and open the door. The room is empty. I cannot complete the quest if Emogene isn't where she's supposed to be. -

I am having the same problem. I have checked the area completely and found no enemies of any kind any where. I have departed the area, played several days in other quests and just roaming about and when I return, I get the same thing. I even completed the quest to find Kelogg. I found him and killed him and on exiting the building onto the rooftop, the BOS airship came by. This usually signals the start of a new stage of the BOS saga. However, when I went back to Danse, I got the same "Check your fire. We've got hostiles" remark. Definitely a broken quest. -
When doing the quest Emogene's Lover/Find Emogene Cabot, I talk to the preacher and he agrees to release Emogene to me. I follow him to the room he has her locked in and after he unlocks the door and leaves, I open the door and the room is empty. I know this is a bug of some sort, but I cannot finish the quest if I can't find Emogene. Anyone have an idea on this ? I have spent most of the day searching through the forums trying to find a solution but I cannot find anything related. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, but more wide spread. Sometimes on start of game where it shows you different tips while the game is loading, I will get the "Lookup Failed" notice. When creating items in a settlement workshop, many of the items will show the same notice. It is not caused by either of the mods you mentioned because I do not have any of those mods installed.

I have found that anytime I disable an installed mod through NNM then the whole set of mods I have installed are unmarked. I have gotten used to going into the plug-in tab on NNM and selecting the enable check mark and enabling all mods, even though they show as being enabled. This way, when I exit NNM and start the game, only the mods I disabled will actually be disabled and all others will be enabled. Too many times, I have disabled a mod, closed NNM, and started the game only to find that all my mods were disabled. I would have to quit out of the game, go back into NNM, enter the plug-in tab, and enable the mods, then restart the game. This way, if I enable before I exit NNM, the mods I want will be activated when I start the game.

Fallout 4 1.5 Update Public Service Announcement
junglerat70 replied to SirSalami's topic in Site Updates
In response to post #37117975. #37122380 is also a reply to the same post. My game does the same. It doesnt matter if I have the mods activated or not. The game goes into the start screen (doesnt even make it to the menu screen) and crashes. And NMM keeps telling me that I dont have a FO4 ini file and I must play the game first to create an ini file before I can load the mods. I have the ini files except the FO4 custom ini. This file is missing and I do not know how to create it. -
After installing Nexus mod manger Fallout 4 won't open
junglerat70 replied to sokiwi99's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
There is something else going on. I'm not sure what, but I just had the same problem. I was running FO4 before with a lot of mods installed and did not have any problems with the game or the mods. Then I added a couple of new mods which had me replace some of the data files with new ones. I did not like the results and because I was stupid and did not back up my data files, the only way out was to un-install FO4 and re-install it. I did this, put in all the mods I wanted, minus the ones which caused the problem, back into the game and now the game will not run. The problem has nothing to do with the difficulty setting as I am using the same setting as I was using before. The game just will not run. Weird point - When I start NMM, I keep getting a message that says I can't install mods without a FO4 ini. file. Well, either NMM has no idea of where my game is installed, or it's just plain stupid, cause not only do I have an ini file, but I have made the changes required to the ini files to run mods.
