rofl @ this guy ^ it was dumbed down for 360. look at the ps3 exclusives vs xbox. huuuuge difference in gameplay and graphics. why do u think metal gear solid: guns of the patriots was ps3 exclusive even after all the claims from the xbox fan boys that it was gonna be available for them too; and never happend? because u cant take a game like that, designed for the ps3, and dumb it down for a 360 and still be good. and they refused to do that and thats why it stayed a ps3 exclusive. and they would have needed to make 17, count them, 17 discs in order for that game to played on the xbox, vs ps3's 1 blue ray. companies like that know how to do quality control, and its done by not making games for lesser capabale systems and then releasing versions to powerhouse systems. there will be problems if u do that. and thats why that game rated the way it did. if they wanna make pc versions of ps3 exclusives thats fine cuz pc's can be made to run at or above the level of a ps3. but u CAN NOT make a 360 run at the level of a ps3, and when u design games based upon the lowest perferming consol, the powerhouse systems will just puke it up

its not a consol war cuz ps3 won the day it was released. xbox fan boys can say what they want but until they get free online/blu ray 1080p graphics in game, they have nothing to talk about. they pay to play online the same games i can for free, cept i also can play it in 1080, vs they can only play it in 720. @o they are paying to play the same games online with worse graphics. its like saying diablo3 is free to play but diablo1 requires subsription... free f***in simple to decide the winner... i wont even get into the 10's of millions of red ring xboxs cuz its not needed in the argument cuz ps3 already won at release.

i played oblivion on ps3 and skyrim now on pc. im use to playing on both setups. even tho ive played on both and im use to how each work / are set up. skyrim is a completely different setup in general and took a bit of getting use to. so with that said, ui is negated from the argument and every failed graphics rendering falls on basis that if it wasnt dumbed down to be processes on a 360, they could have made the graphics better, with less problems. tell bethesda to make a blue ray game / no problems cuz thats the frontline of technology and they can throw everything at it tell bethesda to make an xbox game, in the same format as the HD blueray 1080p ps3 setup... wont happen cuz it wont work on 360 cuz it cant process that level of graphics.. so to make it easier, they base it all of 360 so everything can play it. upgraded machines can process lower quality things but low quality pieces of s*** like 360 cant process higher than their capabilities. thats why its based off 360. for ease and to save money.

rofl games quality is based on the graphics in my opinon. how good the graphics are is a major determining point on whats good and whats not. with your logic, skyrim would be just as good on the old 8 bit pc systems ps3 is a far superior system. gaming is about the experience, and the experience is always better with better graphics capabilities. with that said, thats why ps3 is built from the ground up as a blue rap 1080p system (all ps3 game discs are blue ray) and the 360's max game resolution of 720, isnt

its dumbed down to work on the 360, not just consoles in general the 360 has the worst graphics and processing unit of the two (ps3/360) ps3 is built from the ground up as a 1080p blueray quality system, the 360 can only support 720 in game resolution (been proven a long time ago, no disputing that). if it wasnt for the shitty xbox limitations, the game could have been made a lot better than it was. the ps3 is very powerfull and can handle a lot more than people think. my computer has better graphics than a ps3 but barely cuz im running dual graphics cards..the ps3 uses the Nvidia RSX card / ps3 exclusive design The ps3 has 2x the processing power in it that my computer does (ps3 has over 23Ghz combined processing power) vs my computers 3ghz quad core (12ghz combined) AND I RUN THE GAME ON FULL ULTRA ON MY PC @ an average of 60-80fps--- which means the ps3 can also so dont be prejudice against it being dumbed down for consoles, its was dumbed down for the 360, and thats it if they made skyrim on a ps3 basis and not 360, the game would have to be called red ring of skyrim cuz the 360 would have exploded from attempting to process that level of graphics

Try waiting a couple of hours and the white popup will be replaced by the actual message. At the moment I get the white popup too. Happened before, will probably be restored in a few hours. sometimes the thing comes up with the places to manually downlaod from and i select it, and it still does nothing. its been doing this since skyrim came out and i first came here just stating facts, dont get butthurt over the proof and good luck with comprehending simple sentence structures.

A torrent is a completely different pair of shoes than an actual browser initiated download. Try using Firefox. curse .com is a MASSIVE mod site that supports every game whether its single player or mmo's.. theres over 3 million mods on that site.. its a website, just like this place is. edit: after i quit wow almost a year ago to play Rift, i didnt think id need to use curse and curse download client again, cuz i figured nexus would be the best to download from. nexus has more skyrim specific mods than curse, but from curse i can at least download hassle free... is there a way a moderator can just like, email me the mod file i want?

i just tried it again, i click ont he file i want to download and blank white box appears in the middle of my screen and thats it. i can let it sit there for 3 minutes and nothing happens

i dont use antivirus or firewall, none of them shitty programs work / make yur computer more suceptable to virus's cuz they plant one in it themselves. 4 years no AV or firewall and ihave yet to have a single issue. as for preventing me from downloading, no because i can download from curse .com /and my torrent sites with no issues

the problem isnt the wait, the problem is that the files dont download. the screen comes up to download file, and i click on it and nothing ever happens.

well everytime i go to download it has me pick a server or somthing.. so i do that.. and i get a bar that comes up from my popup blocker, i click it than select "download file".. and once i do that.. nothing happens.

exclusive for one month on xbox over ps3/pc? that bull s*** cuz the xbox is the shittiest consol system next to the wii. the ps3 is a faaaaar superior machine and can actually display games in true 1080p resolution vs xbox can only support a 720 in game resolution (its beeen tested and proven) i wonder how much microsoft paid bethesda for that? its the only way it can logically happen because ps3 is free online and a far superior gameing machine compared to xbox and should have the better content/earlier content at least people that pay for xbox live are getting somthing out of it cuz so far all they got was low resolution games cuz u could get almost every xbox game for ps3, cept on ps3 u got free online and better graphics >< just bugs me i have skyrim for pc, not my ps3, so it dont really matter i guess :P
