    Sorry for the delay in replies , seems I had/have cancer and after a Whipples procedure I am now on chemo for the next 6 months or so which is leaving me a little short of focus and energy . I hope to slowly get back into things and wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year :)

    :) Hi guys and girls! I'm back! Well, sort of > my computer is currently broken! Until it is fixed I can't do much besides answering messages and trying to catch up on everything I have missed...

      Have nothing against consoles but cost is what it comes down to for me, particularly as publishers become more unfriendly to used game sales. I miss my PS3 (Wipeout HD) and saw a couple things at E3 (Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls) that made me want to replace it. But spending $300 + $120 for two games seems ridiculous when I can wait for the next Steam sale and be set for the rest of the year for under $50.

       

      And yeah, mods :)

      Unfortunately console is where the money's at... so as far as AAA titles are concerned it's only going to get worse IMHO. There have been interesting developments with indies and Kickstarter so maybe the future of gaming is a bit brighter than it looks at the moment. We can hope.

       

      Bulletstorm does look like fun (and it's cheap, yay) and really looking forward to Torchlight 2 (scratches that D2 itch. Click click click click....)

    Still working on my last achievement for Skyrim it is taking longer than I thought... anyone else doing the achievements bit?

      Another competitionist here... but only for games I really like. In some games, I find the achievements sometimes get me to try new things or approaches to playing. Dragon Age was good for that.

      Still don't have the criminal achievement or pickpocketing, thanks for the tip though, didn't realize they all had to be active at the same time either :)
