  1. Great list, and a lot of great ideas. I shared your idea for settler management, and I thought it would be great to have a wall chart. I really like the idea of using an administration desk and a terminal, but something lower-tech might be good for early game and for certain locations to fit aesthetics. One of my bigger gripes is the inventory/buying and selling/Workshop UI differences. Having to scroll down or use the sort options should be replaced with tabs for Weapons/Ammo/Apparel/Misc/etc. Pressing TAB should ask for trade confirmation, not a cancel trade confirmation. Pressing TAB should exit the workshop, not ask me if I want to store the item I happen to be looking at when I hit TAB to exit out of the workshop mode, like when I exit the Pipboy. I'm interested in voice acting for FO4 mods. I can record and edit, and I would love to create some quests. When G.E.C.K. releases, I'll learn how to implement and setup dialogue systems for characters.
  2. Greetings! I would like to get involved with some voice acting, quest creation, and general support to a mod. Overhauling the BoS seems like a great idea. I have a lot to learn, but I also have a fair amount of experience and I think I could be of some use! If you're interested, please contact me to tell me how I can help and throw some ideas out there. Cheers, KM
  3. Greetings! Here is my list of Mods that I would like to see/work on. I currently work in the game industry as an audio editor/implementer, and I'd like to start getting involved in the modding community. I suppose this is my way of introducing myself. So to give you an idea of who I am, what I can do, and what I want to do: -I recently received a BFA in game design from an EDMC school. Don't do it. Poor education for a mountain of debt. -I specialize in procedural texturing (Substance Designer), voice acting, world building, story/quest creation, audio/video editing, asset management, and implementation. -I can model, sculpt, and unwrap UVs, but I wouldn't call it my passion. I prefer hard-surface over organic modeling. I know anyone can do that, but still. Just saying I can do it and I understand it well. -I'm a 30 year old former engineer. I pick up on complex things very quickly, and I'm looking for someone to work with to show me how to become a modding expert. I'm easy to work with, and I have a lot of ideas. I would like to start doing something with them! -I work from home, and I need passion projects! I look forward to working with the community and learning all that I can. Now that that's out of the way, here are my Fallout 4 Mod ideas that came to me while playing: ITEMS: Proximity Faction Assist Flare/Explosive. This could be used to guard settlements or time your ambushes. UI: Need to be able to Favorite/Create shortcuts for items in the Crafting/Trade Screen, and trading should mimic Pipboy Inventory UI. - At least have tabs for weapons/clothing/aid/junk when buying/selling. Wall Chart showing People and their Jobs at settlements. Ability to assign people to duties using Chart. Exiting Workshop should use TAB instead of ESC (All UI should be standardized). Repair Plant Confirmation should be RMB for quicker confirmation. STORY: Replace some of the settler voices, and open up dialogue options after you equip them with good weapons and clothing. - Settlers should make comments based on overall settlement happiness rating. - Make some interesting stories with new voices/books/pages to read. Save a Missing Person Missions. Player can assist Missing Person back, or send with Companion. Any suggestions or communications are welcome! Cheers, KM
  4. Greetings! I've been interested in doing a voice and possibly creating a new character/quest/story for Fallout 4. However, I don't know how to mod the game or replace the audio files for the characters, let alone how to setup the dialogue system. However, I do work in game design and I have done voice work for a game. I currently edit and implement audio assets for a major game title and I've lent my voice to a few characters, so I'm not completely clueless. If anyone would be interested in working with me on this, I work from home and have a fair amount of free-time to dedicate to a really cool mod. Any and all suggestions/communication on this is welcome and appreciated! Cheers, KM
