got the Diplomatic immunity bug. I can enter the party fine but there are only 2 people there and i cant progress. tried the ~ commands to progress and to start it over and nothing works. I have done it before on a different play through and i don't really want to start over again.

I was looking around the forums yesterday and I found a link to a mod or a program that actually disables the auto update for skyrim. Now i cant find it, I did a search of the forums and the nexus and nothing came up. So I was wondering if anyone knows about this or had the link they could post for me. I haven't played skyrim without turning of my internet since the new patch.

just opened NMM about 10 min ago. it said it had a update so i updated and now it asks for the skyrim folder path and it will not reconise it and auto find cant find it. I have to use task manager to close it.

So i just got back into gaming a year or so ago and quickly found out how much it had changed. Now i have to have steam running to play almost all of the games that i like to play and if not steam then its origin or some other crap. Tried at first to buy the hard copy of games so i would not have to use 3rd party programs while i play but i guess that doesn't make a difference either. So if i want to continue to play the new games I have no choice then to put up with this crap and click the unfair contract. It sucks but we don't have a choice. On another note i tried to buy an old game off steam last night and it would not go through at all so i waited till today and called my bank. "We have had to many fraudulent purchases through this sight so we will not authorize any transactions from them in the future." So what this means is I can't use my check card to buy anything from steam ever again. Well I guess that solved my problem with digital copies pretty fast.

All the shadow mods i have seen were to make the shadows darker, lighter, more real looking, but none effect the blocky shadows that happens from the sun. The first thing i was talking about was that when i use the fullscreen windowed mode it makes the window too big and the bottom and right are cut off, also it lets the windows start menu stay on top. When using 2 monitors it also shuts off the other one. While i was testing if the essential followers worked right i took Lydia out and stirred up some giants. The firs hit sent here flying so high i actually lost sight of her. Then when she finally crashed to the ground about 10 sec later she just popes right up and put an arrow in his knee.

I have bin looking around for these 2 mods and im not sure if they were made yet or if anyone is working on them. The first would be the fix for the windowed fullscreen option, and the second is to fix the sun shadows so they were not all blocky. If anyone has found them or is working on a fix plz let me know.

ive ben looking for a way to limit the download speed of steam and cant find it. It just sucks that it downloads at the fastest possible and i cant do anything else online while its downloading. I tried out Netlimiter but it costs 30 bucks. does anyone know how to slow down steam or a free program that can do it?

ill give that a shot later, right now im downloading civ 5 for something to play until the CK comes out.

never noticed this before but if i look of into the distance and see any kind of rapids or waterfalls they are frozen (not from the cold). the animation wont start till i get close to them then if i move back the animation stays active but if i quicksave then quickload it stops again. i just installed the post process injector and can see clearly and that might be why i never noticed it before but it kinda make the landscape look to fake.

started to play skyrim about 10 min ago and steam was offline or something. From the start i noticed the game was running a lot smoother, wasnt sure why but i happend to open my task manager and steam was only using around 50k memory instead of 150-200k memory. I just wish I could have a choice in the matter of running steam while im playing games.

I would like to be able to name my save games instead of the auto named # and place. not sure if it will even be possible with the CK.

How would you do a clean sweep of the drivers cuz i would like to try that

I got the same problem but i get flashing shadows and armor too. when it happens the only fix i can find is to reinstall the entire game. I have also bin getting freezes while playing dvd's or watching netflix. tec support says my card might be dying. So luckily my warrinty from ibuypower is not up so ill just get it replaced if it gets any worse or the next driver update dont fix it. also make sure your morphological filtering is turned off. what cpu, ram, power source do u got?

since im just starting out with this ill prolly go with the free rout. i will check out GIMP, and for the modeling ill go with blender, if im going to drop 2k on something it shure as hell isnt going to be on software. I will prolly wait till the CK comes out before i try anything.

Im thinking of getting started in the whole 3d modeling and modding for something to do in my freetime. What im wondering is what tools i will need and an estamet on the cost. I have a decent rig so i should not need any hardware. i know i need photoshop but not sure witch one and i have no idea about 3d model programs.

you could try the console command to set ownership, not sure what that is or how it works but you might as well try it.

First of all im sorry wont be uploading any pics because the only way i can fix the issue is if i reinstall the game and i have done that already 4 times in the past 2 days. So i ll explain the best i can. i noticest this glitch after installing a bunch of mods so i figured it was that. i unistalled all the mods but the glitch was still there. so i unistalled the game. This fixed the glitch Yay. so i started the mod install from scratch. first the SKSE, the the post process injector. Thats where i found the glitch, so i unistalled the mod but the glitch was still there, then i removed the setting (.ini) files from the my doc folders where the saved gamed are. so i would create new ones from srratch. glitch was still there so i had to uninstall skyrim again. started the mods over again this time i used no mods for a while and the game was fine then i read about some settings tweeks that would improve the fps. first this was to turn the shadows from ultra to high, and presto the glitch was back. so i changed the shadows from high to ultra and that didnt help so i had to uninstall skyrim again. now i found a mod that helps with the shadows and dont cause the glitch. Its called better shadows without post process injecters or something like that i cant find it in the sight now. Glitch - i noticed it in Whiterun first. when i first went through the gates i was looking at the road where the dirt/hay meet the stone road. then i moved my mouse around to look at some other stuff and the ground changed from a smooth transition to a blocky one where i could see the seems but if i looked at the same spot from a different angle it would go back. Then i noticed it with distant trees i would be looking at them and they looked normal then i would pan left or right and they would get fat and blocky. The third thing i really noticed was during the loading screens when there was a npc showing the chest armor would be invisible and sometimes the entire upper body would be gone, except for a couple little random parts. -comp specs- intel i7 960 6gig ram amd radeon hd 6950 2gig windows 7 home premium 64bit grafix cards software and drivers is all up to date. changing the setting in the ccc does not effect this glitch its seems to just happen if i mess with the shadows in certain ways and it wont go away without me reinstalling the entire game.

Nice ty i will try that as soon as it finishes downloading again. I had them downloaded before but never burned them i didnt think it would delete the backups on the uninstall. Oh yea quick question, what should i use to burn the file, just drag and drop using windows or do i need to do something different? Vootins yea its the whole thing, close to 6 gigs Also i dont use the steam uninstall becouse its leaves too much crap (not the backups though) behind and sometimes the game still wont work.

So i put a lot of mods and crap into my game and sometimes i break it. So then i got to reinstall it, witch really sucks because i got the digital copy of the game. I chose to backup my game when i first download it but for some reason i always have to redownload the entire game again. So what im asking is there a way to make a game disk or .iso or anything so if i have to reinstall this game or any steam game i dont have to re download it.
