  1. So I've recently gotten the urge to start a modded playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas in anticipation for Fallout 4 (I'm waiting a year or so to pick it up so I can get it with all the DLC and bug fixes). Thing is, I've been iffy about playing Bethesda games modded ever since an incident that occurred a couple years back when I was playing Fallout 3 modded. I had played about half-way through the main quest, was having a blast with the game, until a sudden brick wall stopped my playthrough cold. After viewing the cut scene of the Enclave invading Project Purity, I lost the ability to save. Attempting to save after viewing that cut scene caused my game to crash. I tried numerous methods of working around the problem to no avail. I had backup saves from earlier, but at that point any motivation I had to keep playing was just drained from me. I haven't touched the game in almost 3 years. My question is, is there anything I can do to prevent something similar happening with New Vegas? I've already disabled all forms of autosave, have installed CASM, installed Mission Mojave, and also installed NVAC and the Stutter Remover. Is there anything else I can reasonably do to avoid having my playthrough stopped dead by a broken save?
  2. I've run into an issue with the RCSS mod where the elbow on my right arm is missing in first person mode. I've tried clean saving and reinstalling, shuffling load orders around, etc. but I still have an invisible elbow. I'm getting the feeling that this might be an incompatibility with Project Nevada, as this issue didn't crop up until I installed that mod. If it turns out there's no fix, that really sucks, because I love this armor. EDIT: I used showracemenu to change my character's gender just to see if it would do anything, and lo and behold, the invisible elbow glitch went away when I switched to a male character. I'd still like to try and fix this if it's possible, since that's just how I am, but at least I know now I don't have to give up this really cool armor set.
  3. EDIT: Please remove this thread. I've recently run into some new issues I didn't have before thanks to my lack of modding experience, so I've decided to restart from scratch. So after reinstalling Skyrim and getting all my mods playing nicely together, my game has been running pretty smoothly so far (well, except for the occasional CTD, which isn't a huge issue since I save often). But there's one recurring problem; in interior cells, doors are incredibly glitchy. When I open one, any and all nearby miscellaneous objects like bowls and food get launched at lightning speed around the room. At first I thought it was kind of amusing, but I've now begun to find it incredibly distracting whenever I'm trying to talk to an NPC. Let's not even discuss the prospect of buying a house with this glitch in effect... I can't even begin to imagine what might be causing this issue. Here's my full mod list if anyone is willing to help me out: -Interesting NPCs -A Quality World Map -Alternate Blade of Woe -Argonian fins -Bigger Argonian Tails -Better Dialogue Controls -Project Reality w/ hardcore setting for dungeons, cold setting for interiors, and all sound addons -Cloaks of Skyrim -Clumsykiin -Descaled Uniques -Extended UI -Forgotten Argonian Roots + Photo realistic eyes -Glowing Ore Veins -HD armored circlets -Immersive armors -Immersive HUD -Immersive weapons -Knight of Thorns armor + spear -Lanterns of Skyrim - all in one + Climates of Tamriel patch -Masters of Death - Rise of the Brotherhood -No Naked Comments -Perkus Maximus + compatibility patches and Patchus Maximus -Player headtracking -Pure Waters -Skyrim immersive creatures -SkyUI -Skyrim Redone (all modules besides the base and combat ones) -Unofficial patches for base game + all DLC and hi-res texture pack -Weapons and Armor Fixes remade -Wearable lanterns -Winter is Coming -Wolf Armor Remix -Wrath of Nature - Path of the Druid + Champion of Kynareth I would be greatly appreciative if someone could help me sort out this issue.
