Do the crashes occur while you're in the game or during load screens when you fast travel or enter a new area?
Also I would double check to see if any of the mods you've mentioned aren't already in the game already as a result of NVEC Complete. Also, uncheck your merged patch.
Both. I'll fast travel and it will CTD, and sometimes I'll be walking around to a new area and it will CTD. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. I'll try unchecking the patch.

I've recently removed several mods that I think may be causing problems. The issue seems to be getting a little better, but I still crash. Sometimes I can play for 20-45 minutes with no problems, then I CTD, or the game totally freezes. I then have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and close out of the programs. I'm using Windows 8 64bit. Here are my mods and load order. I also used BOSS to help with the order. I also seem to crash less while in the DLC areas, but it still does happen, just not as often.

Crap, no I don't have an older game to revert back to.. Well, I do, but its 7 hours younger than my most previous. Oh well. Thank you for the quick reply. I have a basic concept of the GECK, but nothing in depth.

I downloaded Wasteland Defender, and decided the use the NCR Prison as my base of operations. I got tired of all the clutter around the place, so went into the console and used the "disable" feature to get rid of a lot of it. I'm not sure if its coincidence or not, but it seems since then, whenever I try to load a game where I'm in the prison, which regretfully is all of them, I immedietly CTD. I tried disabling WLD, but no luck. Any ideas guys? It's a save where I put in over 30+ hours =\

The mods with the * next to them are the STALKER weapon pack mods. I just reloaded the STALKER pack to show the load order it started in. Like I said, everytime I hot key the items, the game CTDs, and I can't reload the save game, so I have to load a previous save, or deactivate the mod and I can play the save that crashed. I'm hoping someone knows to fix this, as the weapons in this mod are amazing.

I downloaded this mod last night, and everything was going fine, until random CTDs. I changed the load order around, as the description said to have it higher in the load list, but no luck, and had to eventually remove it. I would like to bring it back, as it had some awesome weapons. It would randomly crash, but seemed to crash more often when I would have the weapons hot keyed, and would cycle between them. I'm hoping someone ran across this problem, and figured out a fix. If you need my mods and load order, I can provide that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One of my characters that I currently roleplay with is an Enclave soldier. I love the Enclave Commander mod where you can control a squad or army of Enclave. What I was hoping was this. I was hoping a modder with similiar Enclave love like myself, could come up with something for Vegas. In the mod, at the end of the main quest, you could choose the Enclave to gain control over the Strip and surrounding area. Maybe make the quest start with the Remnants, or a whole new group. Work on some quests, kill some people, place soldiers/spys in various areas to gather intel, then move in on the Strip. Depending who you sided with.. Legion, Yes Man, House (I leave out NCR, as the are the enemy of the Enclave) you are tasked with killing the leader or the main person of that faction to finally secure your position on the Strip. Afterwards, have armed Enclave soldier in the streets and casinos, no more drunk NCR soldiers wandering the streets, or have random encounters where Enclave soldiers arrest and or kill the NCRs if they resist. Thats just a blanket idea. I'll come up with more details if needed. Thoughts?

I remember a mod I downloaded for Oblivion, and was hoping someone could duplicate it here. It was a journal mod. It was a fairly "simple" mod, where the player would have a blank book, you could choose the cover, and you could write in it. Text/typing style similar to Notepad, or Word Pad. As many pages as you would like, plus you had the option of making more. I like roleplaying with my characters, and think it would be pretty awesome to have one of these, so I won't have to Alt Tab out everytime I want to write something. If you have one, or are willing to make one, could you please let me know? You would have my eternal thanks.

Also I recently downloaded NVEC Complete + NVCE.esm. It includes New Vegas Bounties, but I already had the mod by itself. I deactivated it the mod, and I just noticed it's always crashing when I go near one of the targets. I can't remember her name, but it's the 3rd target I think, the female Fiend west of Vegas.
