  1. Colovian Leather, I presume? I'd almost forgotten about that armor... I can't believe I missed it while looking. It's actually almost exactly what I'm looking for. Seems a little bare, though a cloak, backpack, weapons, and some bandoliers can fix that ;)
  2. So, I recently finished the Civil War questline as a member of the Imperial Legion. The war is over, and it's time to move on from the life of a soldier and return to independent exploring, adventuring, and questing. In line with this, I wanted to change my armor from an Imperial Scout Officer (I use this mod for my Imperial Legion) to a more adventurer-type getup. I was having some trouble deciding, and realized that I wanted a rugged Skyrim adventurer type armor that still had an Imperial Legion identity to it. I didn't want to throw away my Imperial-themed appearance, but I did not want to look like a Legionnaire/Legionary on active duty. I looked around for an armor mod that gave this, and did not find any. I did find the Stormcloak Explorer armor, which I liked and downloaded for use with my Stormcloak character/s, and also served as the inspiration to write this thread. Pretty much all of the Imperial Legion mods are battle-oriented, which is understandable, since they are an organized army that excels at set-piece/pitched open battles, just like the Roman Legions that they are inspired by. But I would like to see a standalone Imperial Legion armor mod that interprets what a veteran Legion soldier-turned adventurer would look like, preserving his Legion identity while being more rugged and adapted to the challenges of surviving alone in the harsh Skyrim landscape. Alternatively, it could also be seen as what an Imperial Legion Frontiersman or Pathfinder would look like. I am a light armor agility scout rogue type guy, so I definitely think this should be a light armor if ever. Whatever the case, I'd love to see an armor like that. Cheers
  3. So, after seeing The Hobbit: AUJ, I really liked the Dwarven armor from the Battle of Azanulbizar. I have the "Chronicles" production art book of the film, and I took a picture(med quality) of the Moria Dwarf Armor: http://oi50.tinypic.com/2emimpg.jpg These aren't the Erebor Dwarves. Believe it or not, upon closer inspection, their armors are different. Would be nice to see this in Skyrim, though I assume the proportions of the armor will have to be taken into account.
  4. I've always loved this fan-art of Youmu from Touhou. Obviously isn't all too practical, but I really like the look. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8mi1gEiic1qzfrsgo1_1280.jpg The Sarashi is the wrapping around her breasts, and is actually quite practical. Joan of Arc used binding similar to the sarashi to pass herself as a Male and become a soldier. Around her lower torso, I believe, is an Obi, literally, belt. It's the belt used in the Kimono outfit. As for the skirt/dress, well, you can't really see much of it in the image, but it's not a mini-skirt(Never been a fan of those in combat...). I guess you can go crazy on that part(not too small I hope ;P), but I think the sarashi+obi is really cool.
  5. Hey guys, Virus Key releases all their songs for download free(They don't sell CDs as far as I know). I just downloaded all of their Touhou arrangements xD It took me a while to find out how to download the songs, but I'll make it easier for you guys: https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=dff3a5ffbc8e9ac7&sc=documents&id=DFF3A5FFBC8E9AC7%211385 Just check every file that starts with a "Th" and then click download. Done. I'm 100% sure this is legal and free; I got this from Virus Key's website, and like I said, they don't sell these in CDs or digital stores. If you haven't heard of Virus Key, check them out; they're really good. Samples: The Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field (+ Sylphid Dream) http://youtu.be/rg6AR13XaaE ^Audio for this is a bit garbled but this isn't the case for the .mp3 file. Gensokyo Millenium ~ History of the Moon http://youtu.be/GlfCV_TF7fo
  6. The unplugged, folk, and classic tunes would make for the best, but even when you choose specific genres, there's still so much... I have a lot of Kitsune Workshop, and a lot of Tutti Sound and Morrigan as well. Virus Key is known to be a fantastic circle as well, but I don't have anything by them yet. They all make wonderful arrangements; A music pack would be the best thing evar. And yes, that's Cap'n Murasa. :D
  7. Well, seeing as both are fantasy, I see it working out. For those of you who don't know, Touhou Project is a series of bullet-hell games created by one person, Oota Jun'ya, more commonly known as ZUN. The games became popular in Japan because of the difficult gameplay, beautiful patterns, and most importantly, the amazing music. Now, most Touhou content on the planet is made by the extreme fanbase, except the official games and some other content. But I have something different in mind. Instead of using the Touhou games' original music, I propose using fan-made arrangements. Using Touhou music in a mod is not illegal as well; ZUN let's all these independent circles arrange, remix, and cover his music at no cost; A free mod for Skyrim will not hurt anyone here, seeing as this person below uploaded hundreds of fan-made arrangements with no penalty whatsoever. I believe that in this case, giving proper credit to Team Shanghai Alice(aka ZUN, the creator of Touhou) and the circles that arranged the music we used will suffice. About the music, here is a playlist of mostly classical/unplugged arrangements: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4BBDDF8940E8AC40 The first few songs are quite mellow; deeper into the playlist, and close to the end, you'll find stunningly epic arrangements. I believe the problem with making this mod would be choosing the music, because there are just so many arrangements for so many genres of music(classical, techno, metal, etc), that it'll be tough choosing perfect songs for the mod. I'm no modder by any chance(If I were, I wouldn't be here requesting this), so all I can do is share the awesome music with you. The 200 songs in that playlist above are just the tip of the iceberg. If there are any other Touhou fans out there, I'd appreciate some help :P Also, this is one of my favorite arrangements that isn't in the playlist; I'm not sure where this would fit though.
  8. I wouldn't dare kill him. He's so adorable on his mountain. Also, he's voice by Mario.
  9. Well, being the first Dragonborn since Tiber Septim/Talos himself, I killed Motierre, because, hell, I'm like the second coming of Talos! I should be Emperor! Not that d-bag! I have a feeling that later in the Elder Scrolls Storyline, the Dovahkiin will indeed become Emperor and restore the Empire to its former glory, just like when Talos conquered all of Tamriel, only this time, we'll take the Summerset Isles as well, and defeat the Aldmeri Dominion permanently.
  10. I support this request. I use a Black and Gold retex + "Closed-Face Elven Helmets and Thalmor Hoods" to make the Thalmor look intimidating and stuff, but I'd love to see the LOTR elf armor as a replacer.
  11. I'd like to see the Assassin's Creed: Revelations Multiplayer Cast (their outfits/armors specifically) ported into this game. They already did Revelations and Brotherhood Ezio, why not these guys? http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111105113424/assassinscreed/images/0/06/ACR_multiplayer_20_characters.jpg Yeah, I just love the AC: Revelations outfits. It would be awesome to see the Stormcloak armors replaced with various Byzantine armors from AC: R, and likewise with the Empire, they'll have Ottoman armors like the Guards and Janissary troops.
  12. We should also have Order of the Knights Templar armors too (Different types, like Milita, Sergeants, Knights, etc) to go against the Saracens :D
  13. I haven't seen any mods in the Skyrim Nexus that change Cicero's Clothing set to give it armor rating. I downloaded a cool replacer for it, and I'd love to see Cicero's clothing set modified to give it a base armor rating as well as Light Armor attributes. Anyone else agree with me? Even if you don't have a skin, Armor rating on the set is still very useful.
  14. Wait then why are the Thalmor helping the Imperials? They aren't helping the Imperials. The Imperials are forced to help the Thalmor root out Talos worshippers. I think banning a religion temporarily so that the Empire can recover and unleash its vengeance with full strength later on is better than Cyrodiil, Hammerfell, and Skyrim being forever separated. If that happens, Hammerfell will eventually fall, Cyrodiil(and what's left of the empire) will never be able to recover and fight the Thalmor, and Skyrim will be crushed by the elven boot.
  15. I saw this image while surfing the web and I thought: "Damn, this would look good as a Skyrim Armor Set!" It's The Arbiter from Halo Wars http://hijiribe.donmai.us/data/f0fdc51e9f49fec10f60d2c78b0b29fc.jpg Source Though, it would be a lot better if there were a Sangheili race in the game, because it wouldn't look as cool on a person standing upright as opposed to the 8-foot Alien Warriors from the Covenant, with their bodies in a hunched position like the image. :P Maybe when the Creation Kit comes out, we'll see... P.S. The Energy Sword would be cool as well.
