  1. I mentioned it in the topic- I tried importing the models and animations into 3ds max using latest Nif tool plugin.
  2. Hey guys, I tried importing Morrowind models and animations using my Nif tools plugin but with no luck. I have to say that Oblivion and skyrim imports just fine. Is there supposed to be a special version of Nif plugin or 3ds max? How do yo uget it working? Thanks
  3. First, I started modding Diablo 2 game, but then I decided to make a whole new game on its engine. You can see a short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTCsYEqhZdo Thank you for your advice. I will look into Unity and Mixamo.
  4. It may look like it's illegal but in fact it's the same as using Assassin Creed armor or Diablo 3 assets in Skyrim. I am not making money on this. The overall goal of my project is to learn game development using (or better to say "re-using") already exitsing assets, because I can't model and animate myself and I am a starting game developer. I am offering money for this because I am desperate (skyrim animations are a great pain in the ass) and I know that no one will help me for free, so it's just a little reward for spending their time.
  5. Hello everyone. I'm writing here because I don't know whereis the right place to post. I need some help and I'm looking for someone who can help me. I'm working on my own non-commercial sprite-based isometric RPG game and I'm using Skyrim assets. I render models and animation in 3ds max and compile sprites to use in game. here are some examples of what I already did. The problem that I'm having is that, as you may know, Skyrim has some problems with animations. A lot of the animations are bugged when exported and put in 3ds max. There are some weird bones and distorted movements. Also some of the animations that I need doesn't exist. I'm looking for someone who can fix the existing animations or create new animations for me (based on skyrim skeleton). If you're interested I'm ready to pay for your time. Please let me know what you think.
  6. Hello, I'm working with animations from Skyrim. All the vanilla files are okay, but when I download the new animations from Nexus there are problems in viewing them in 3ds max. These are the animations from different mods, for example Immersive Animations. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks!
  7. Hello! I'm working with Skyrim assets and when I use textures in 3ds max the skin on the character looks dark, while in game it looks normal color. How can I make it look natural in 3ds max? Please help anyone.
  8. Actually I found a fix. You need to create opacity map. Like this. http://s19.postimg.org/rodtclk0f/werewolfbody_op.jpg
  9. Hello. I'm working with Skyrim models and animations. And i've got a problem with dds textures - the alpha channel is not displayed. In other words the model doesn't look realistic. Can anyone help with this?
  10. Hello. I'm wondering if it's possibe to make Skyrim models look realistic, as they are in game, in 3ds Max? I'm new at this and would appreciate any guidance. Thanks.
  11. Hello. I'm working with Skyrim creatures and when I try to render the model I've got some problems with textures. When I load the model in 3ds max without texture I get this. As you can see the texture is transparent. http://s19.postimg.org/v5c3ti2kv/image.jpg But when I drag&drop the texture in the model, I get this. http://s19.postimg.org/tet2s0l1r/image.jpg I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. I have a lot of problems with textures in Skyrim. EDIT: Ok i Solved it. I used DDS converter and made JPG out of DDS texture. Now it's working fine.
  12. Hey Thanks for yur reply. Since I'm new at all this, I didn't understand quite a lot. First, to make it clearer, I will say that I work with 3ds max nif plugin and it doesn't have those properties when I import a model. Second, I'm working with Oblivion models, bu I'm not making a mod for Oblivion. I just need to join the body parts in the 3ds max to render the model and animation as sprites. here's the example of what i do. http://s19.postimg.org/67bly461f/image.gif I would really appreciate if you could explain in more detail what I should do. Thanks
  13. Hi. I'm working with Oblivion creatures models and when I import nif files some creatures have their heads seperated from the skeleton. Body, legs and hands are placed automatically in the right place but heads are placed in the wrong position. I would appreciate if anybody could help with this. Thanks.
  14. Thanks. I'll look into that. One more question - can anyone tell me how can I connect a head or helmet (or any other object) to a skeleton if it's not placed automatically on the right position. In Oblivion, for example, chest, legs and hands are placed automatically, but heads are like seperate objects. Any ideas? Thanks.
  15. Hello. I'm looking for someone who knows how to create a character with all corresponding parts (face, eyes, mouth, body etc) in 3ds max. I want to use Skyrim resources to create chracters to use in my other MOD project. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you
  16. Hello. I'm making a mod for Diablo 2 and currently I'm working on adding new monster animation. I learned how to render 3d models from TES in isometric view, but since I'm new to 3ds max (i've bee using it for 3 weeks) I have some questions, and woudl appreciate if someone could help me. http://s19.postimg.org/4lx7lih77/walk.gif 1. TES animations have no "death" animation, because when monsters die in TES they just fall on the ground with the physics of the world. Is it possibe to simulate this falling in 3ds max to create a death animation? Or is there a workaround? 2. Soome creatures like Fire Atronach have animated textures (fire around him). How can I add this animated textures while rendering the model? 3. Some models consist of multiple parts - how can I join them together so that they all move when animation is played?
