  1. Greetings! I'm looking for someone who's a bit more skilled at 3ds Max. I'm making my 3d stuff (well, at least trying too) in Cinema 4D, its easier on my hand and by sense in the use but there is not a lot tutorial about the 3d part of it so its a lot of trial and error to get somewhere. Lot of people said that I should do 3ds Max instead, but its really strange for me and not really can get around in it. I tried looking for some vids to learn but didn't found any good tutorial (didn't really tried hard enough though). So thats what lead to the current obsticle, I have custom models which i got from here and there, but really need to modify it to make it work with games. I want to finally do something with them, turn into mods at least while learn something in the progress. But for a lot of them the most sensical thing is to use 3ds Max because of the versatility Currently I want to turn a character's outfit into an outfit in Fallout 4. I know about the Modding part but the model need some work and such. I hope someone will help me, and maybe tell me a thing or two in 3ds Max.
  2. Okay thats maybe "Long story super short and hardly understandable babble"
  3. Hiya, Long story short I started using Cinema 4d because i thought its easy to handle than other 3d program but its not and not many teaching videos up there. I have 3DS MAX here but its complicated to use. I'm not a 3d modeller or a programmer but I'm intrested in handling one. I have great ideas what to make and art for it to maybe use it as a base but all I saw is complicated stuff and sadly I don't have that much time as I used to. I figured out a few terms like the Boole and UV but its really not easy to figure it out without a handbook or something. I successfully made two custom shape attached into each other in it, and done some knife tool modifications but I'ts really not enough to make mods. I know that you need to choose the program in the main categories like artistic or engineering modelling, there are also programs for minor changes but I really don't know what tool I need. I use Adobe products for drawing and editing photos and pretty much gonna buy the whole shabang someday when I save up money - thats why I thought Cinema 4d would be nice because the interface kinda reminded me photoshop - and learn stuff, but I really don't know what I prefer for modelling. I kinda know how to handle sounds and music, also pictures and art, why not learn to model too. Currently I'm working on a model I got for free, for Fallout 4, but its really not easy to handle it. If you want to be part in the creation of a power armor while helping me understand the fundamentals of 3d modelling and maybe some of modding too, it would make me really happy too. I'm also working on figuring out the protagonist voices to somehow (I really don't know yet how) make a morph setting for the game, so people could create some cool voices for quest mods or something. Also working on figuring out the ending video to be modified into a cinematic that says some words about the acomplishments in the game. So thats Plan A, Plan B, Plan C.
  4. Heyo, I think it would be better if in the new Survival mode instead of sleeping you use a personal note, plays the animation the character getting his notebook, and writes in it. With that the game saves. And you need chalk or something to do it.
  5. Gopher, in FALLOUT 4 (Survival) Ep. 78 Decoding the Chip said isn't there a power armor version of the silver shroud power armor, and I think it would be amazing if there would be! I think a painting would be nice for the job.
  6. The idea is that you go "looting" stuff, you see 12 desk fans, how you gonna take them home? Of course by getting a screwdriver and craft it into pieces and managing your backpack space. So I thought what if you play a little animation when doing one but when you do multiple the screen blacks out and the game waits for an hour or two for you to finish.
  7. - downloaded and activated many immersion mods. - fixed core issues like settlement building and changed the damages from x0.5/x2 survival to x3/x3 legendary survival. - gonna build settlements, I've never stopped to build because it can get "complicated" and I was delicate saying that. - create a character who's gonna do the "Good Karma" ending. - realise its still too easy somehow, so balance stats for more pain, maybe change spawn rates. - try to pick perks which were never used. - try to not use drugs. - try to abandon every power armor frames, imagine that my character do not have training for them. - organise stuff, try to somehow not to take everything with me every journey. ehh... hard to tell... i want an immersive challenge, and more settlement building?
  8. I've made a mesh, to start off with cracking up the heavy DC helmet mesh, and putting the faceguard on the Flight helmet, because the form matches the real baseball helm more likely. I want to make a mod that makes DC guards potentially equipped for the role, also the armor have more baseball guards similarity. So changing their armor, give them better guns, make custom swatters, make more sense to the most famous populated place where traders come by every day.... turns out its gonna be pretty big for a newbie who just decided to make some mods for fun, so I'm in search for people who wanna take part in it. http://i.imgur.com/qzXGg6xm.jpg
  9. Open notice for people, who wandering the wastelands with tools and some ambition to make a change in it. Greenhorn modding activity is on the rise for becoming a potential modification at the Nexus, which is one of Diamond City's best allied settlement. It's lead by a sole survivor who claims that he wants to be "role-friendly" whatever that means and learn as much as he can in the progress of making. The Mayor dedicated many bottlecaps into financing the project and also requested Arturo Rodriguez, Becky Fallon, and Moe Cronin to help it succeed. It takes on the rising matter of super mutants and raiders at the area causing damage to our city's protection, and taking the lives of many brave guards. The survivor claims "The equipment and training is not prepared for the job. If I run at a mutant with a swatter in a leather-like armor and it's standing there with a full rusted plate and a minigun, chances are, the last thing I hear is the barrel spinning up". This issue concerns the Diamond City Guard supplies and its overseen by Geneva, secretary of the Mayor. Keep what you gain from the job, no rewards given afterwards.
