Take his advice, if you're going to haul yourself off cliffs and expect your horse to survive you need to turn on god mode. :turned:

This is a great idea.

 

If Yes, What should come of it?

Instead of Enemy - > Friendly and so fourth, there could be a couple of added quests for certain NPCs that yield, and at the end of those quests you're either at a friendly reputation with them, or they are now an available companion. Could be interesting :thumbsup:

 

It's probably going to be near impossible to create new quests though.

I was stuck finding the third book and did some researching.

 

This was most helpful and I found my book after a little digging:

The quest highlights the books with a giant arrow. I found two on a pedestal, and the third one knocked over by the fighting. Since they get thrown around so easily by all the magic, it is possible it was knocked through a wall.

 

Try to grab the books before the fighting starts to make sure.

Last night I was traveling through some mountains and a dragon was circling me for 5 minutes without a sign of combat. I even shot at it with my bow, but it didn't seem interested in a fight.

 

Whenever that happens, I simply remember that not all of the dragons obey Alduin, and they're probably the friendly ones that don't attack.

I never knew this. Are there supposed to be friendly dragons? Or is it a glitch?

Yes! I always have this issue and it pains me to wait. Especially when frequenting Belethor's General Goods who only has 800 septims at max each visit.

I had the same problem at Valtheim Keep, with Alfsigr. I got frustrated after a few reloads and rode her down the road a bit; left her there. She didn't come to attack, thus not falling off and dying. Also, I mount my horses before fast traveling so that when I arrive at my destination I am already mounted rather than standing next to them (allowing time for them to run off).

 

I've been doing that most of the time since then. Hopefully there will be a mod for horses to stay put sooner or later.
