It is necessary to pay attention to what you are installing and then read the results in the mod manager. I'm sure that if you read the mod list, you could figure out what is wrong.

 

However, StreetLights belongs between ThePitt and BrokenSteel. This is explained on the mod page.

 

You don't have FWE Followers Enhanced but you have compatibility patches for it. Disable and uninstall them.

 

If you got the MMM patches from FOIP, don't use them. They are not current to the latest MMM. Use Blackened instead. But you must read and follow the instructions.

The compatibility patches should load in the same order as the game DLCs.

 

Sprint Mod is part of FWE, disable and remove it.

 

Use only one game performance mod at a time. Are you using the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch?

 

What mod manager are you using?

Thanks for all the great tips, I went through them all and it seems to be starting up normally now - as for the game itself, I don't know yet but I'll post here again if I face any issues, and I'll make sure to follow the guide you sent! :laugh:

[Cannot reach start menu after adding MMM, Project Beauty, and FWE]

Hi all,

I've been playing with a variety of mods for a while, mostly smaller add-ons to the game, and I've decided to take the plunge and install FWE and a few other overhauls (Martigen's Mutant Mod and Project Beauty). However, every time I try to run Fallout 3 with these mods installed, the cursor is missing, the various ads etc. before the start menu are unskippable, and the menu doesn't show up (It gets to the screen with the power helmet, however none of the menu options appear). I can only exit this screen by using ctrl+alt+del to kill it with task manager.

I'll include my full list of plugins below, am I missing masters or something? Do I just have too many mods installed for the game to handle?

 

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
