Your on a possibly good track there with your idea Pierry but the point of this isnt to make them a follower or have them come when you command because you have a dragon for that already. The point of this is to give the dragons more life than just the cave man architecture of. See dragon Dragon attack Kill dragon (or die trying) Adsorb soul Rinse and repeat

It becomes not hostile to the player, It does not mean it will be your "friend" it will just stop attacking you and let you have a conversation with it. some dragons will become your friend but not all

It will be in January when the CK is released but it gives me more time to finalize ideas and plans as well as get help

My apologies for my late reply but i have been ill. I am open to any and all ideas from the community. As i stated in the OP all of this is subject to change but this is the very rough idea i was having. Well the problem we have is that we dont know how the dragons actually feel. The ones that do speak are against Alduin(from what ive encountered so far). If we say an Ancient dragon was reanimated and didnt want to be, they may give up their soul to go back to their Sovngarde. Im not trying to make them more human but they are more intelligent and older than humans and are more than capable of deciding that for themselves. @Budz42: I will be PM'ing you @Pierry: Certainly post your ideas they will be appreciated

This looks epic and will have to try it out. Sadly i have it for the 360 right now and cant get it for the PC until after Christmas so im going to hold out until the CK comes out

I completely agree with the OP. Though its a game, Its also an immerse ever growing story and its suppose to be in detail and depth because that's what makes it so great

Until the CK comes out this is on hold but I'm putting the idea out there. Though I will need help creating this. Back story: I am slightly Ill at the moment and i fell asleep while I was playing skyrim and had a dream. In this dream obviously I was the Dragon Born, I had killed a few dragons and learned new shouts. Idea: The shouts in question did not do harm Shout name: Dragon Calm (Recharge 80, 130, 300) Word 1: Fron (Dragon becomes non hostile for 30 seconds) Word 2: Fahdon (Dragon becomes non hostile for 60 seconds) Word 3:Osos (Dragon becomes friendly to player permanently and allows you to converse with friendly dragons, Excludes Alduin(Obviously) Use:For those of us (like me) who like dragons and do not always wish to kill them. Shout name: Request Soul (Recharge: None) Word 1: Sil Word 2: Praan Word 3: Nu Use: Can be used in conversation with friendly dragon to request their soul without having to harm them. This will only be available as an option during conversation and the shout will be automatic. The younger the dragon the less of a chance it will work. (Excludes: All dragons with a real name) Other notes and ideas: Conversations with dragons More than just two new shouts Choice whether or not to kill dragons by force or peaceful means Dragon teachings (ability for dragons to teach you words of the tongue) Also the words for the shouts currently are changeable so If you have suggestions for different word choices it would be appreciated. Community feedback and support/ideas/contributions would prove to be a big help

Now i am currently playing Skyrim on the 360 but i will be getting it for the PC also once the modding tools come out Though I did not see many people with ther UN in the Tongue of dragons so i thought id be a bit different.
