Hey, me again with a less detrimental problem. Recently I've downloaded the JIP companion mod, and I love it. You can force recruit anyone and it has a little hud interface at the side of your screen. It's amazing, go download it. My problem isn't with the mod, it's with the game, but it's for the mod? Ok, let me explain I made it to freeside and went up to the gates, and I decided I was going to save the squatter who always gets shot by the securotrons, and well, I succeeded. I was so overjoyed, he was freaked out, but i'm sure overjoyed nonetheless. Anyway, I decided as a repayment for his life, he could hang out with my caravan and provide another brother in the five man family i've assembled. The problem, is even though I recruited him and he follows no problem, he doesn't like to fight very much. He spends all matches cowering in a corner while he covers his ears and tries not to hear the bloodshed and carnage behind him, hoping he doesn't have any of our blood on his hands. Poor guy must be traumatized from nearly being ripped apart by robots. :( Well, I want to harden him up, and for the life of me, i cannot find any console commands to solve this darn problem. I've tried TAI, TCAI, setav aggression 2, setav, aggression 1, and I can get him to rush a target, but he will not attack it. I'm almost positive It has to do with scripting, but I'm no script writer, and this is such a niche topic that I can't find a single thing on google. So, I come here hoping that maybe somebody in here might know what to do when there's a permascared npc that they want to fight. Also, if anybody can tell me the solution to this, mayhaps you know how to make boxcars walk again? I tried the same with him, but he just stands sadly in place Thank you all for your time.

I did download the cam patch, and even edited the BLoad files like they suggested. (Or whatever files they suggested i change, i dont remember the specifics) but to no avail. I ended up finding a compromise and downloaded the drugs are bad, mkay mod and the marijuana in the mojave mod. The only problem with that, is that i can no longer smoke cigarettes, and the real smokes mod crashes the marijuana mod. I've scoured the internet for a way to smoke both weed, and the classyman's cigarillo, but alas, it seems I'll have to pick one or the other. As for the crash upon exit thing, thank you. I'm about to look into that. Here's to hoping it's a solution in my skill level! Thank you very much

Okay, so after some messing around, I believe I have solved the problem. I don't know what it is, but something is causing a problem with my More chems mod, found here, http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50817/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D50817%26preview%3D&pUp=1 My game no longer crashes upon death, exiting/entering buildings, or fast traveling. I haven't tested a lengthy playthrough yet, I'm stll in troubleshooting mode. One thing that concerned me, but idk it's a problem personally, is the game still crashes when I exit the game? Does this happen to you guys at all? It's a little worrying So now that i've pinpointed the mod, (I believe,) I really don't want to have to ditch it. I really like the mod, as it adds in all kinds of items and recipes. Plus, speaking frankly, I really like the idea of being able to make a methhead character lol. Does anybody have experience with this mod, and would be able to tell me why it's making my game crash? It works fine on my sister's laptop, and it's worse than mine is as far as game compatability goes. Anyone who provides me a working answer will be rewarded handsomely in the afterlife, God Bless.

Go back to the page where you downloaded LOOT. On the left of the page is a list of links to various items. Left click on "Documentation" and download the Readme from the link "Read The Docs". Read the Readme. Well, after a while of putting it off,I went and fixed all those ITM file problems. The problem is still there. I am at a loss. As of right now, I am stuck in Vikki & Vance's casino, and it crashes everytime i exit. So far, I cannot get out at all. I can get into the game, however every time Additionally, I removed one of the mods that had an itm file, and it allowed me to get outside again, however it crashes still. So far it's crashed once while i was trying to fast travel, and it was so early in, i wouldnt really count it as progress. Can somebody please help me understand what's making my game's crash triggers so variable? How come sometimes i cant start the game, then sometimes i cant get outside? It's making pinpointing the problem particularly difficult.

Just to give you a quick summary, I had a crapload of mods. They were working great and perfect until i had to upgrade to windows 10, then it broke some games and i had to downgrade... I think. I'm not even sure if i downgraded right, coz when i look at my specs, it still says i'm on windows 10, but when I "reverted," i ended up losing all of my files. I was freaking out, I thought i lost literally everything from the past 3 years, i sort of had a heart attack lmao, but I somehow got them back. I'm not really good at this computer tech stuff, and I don't really know what i did to get them back. They just sort of reappeared, it was weird, but a miracle nonetheless. Now, I'm either playing on windows 10, or I'm on a sneaky disguised version of windows 8. Now that this topic has been explained, I'd like to get to the problem. Since the big data wipe scare of 2017, I have no longer been allowed to fully enjoy my game, if at all. Sometimes when i start up, it will let me get in and play for a little bit, but that's if I'm lucky. I get twenty to thirty minutes max, then it crashes, most times when i'm exiting/entering a building. After it crashes for the first time, I typically can't even start the game up for a few hours. If i can, I can only log into the save 1 out of 6 times. When i do get in the save, I can't leave the building without crashing and the game becomes unplayable for the rest of a few hours. I try loading up another save, and that works fine and dandy, but only for five or ten minutes. I don't have enough time to travel from primm to goodsprings on foot, it's ridiculous. I've tried uninstalling all the mods, but i dont know that there's any specific mod doing it. Though, i come here hoping to be proved wrong If you guys could take a peek at my load order and tell me if anything is out of place or out of date, mayhaps, that would be awesome. I would probably break down and cry tears of joy, right here, face to face with my keyboard This has been plaguing me since my birthday, please end my suffering
